A neat district of beautiful homes from way back in the day. Shows a different side of Galveston and what it used to be. Worth the drive through the streets to see this place.

Beautiful homes. And the history behind them is very interesting. Amazing they have survived for so long through many rough seasons and storms.

The best place to be on Galveston Island.
The East End District encompases the area between 19th, and 10th Streets and Broadway and Mechanic.Just drive through the streets here and you will see the architectural details of the historic homes, stained glass windows, welcoming porches and wrought iron fencing. The architecture in this area is of the Greek Revival style built during the 1850s. The homes here have stood the test of time and the elements.
