Fun course, and very challenging. Lots of hazards and tight fairways made for a challenging track.The clubhouse was clean, and staff were friendly. If you get a chance, its definitely worth a round or 2.

Fantastic experience..Greens were pure and beautiful...fairways were perfect...not a bad lie...short course...lots of water...local knowledge will be helpful

Was great until we encountered a very rude and THINKS he is better than anyone man in the parking lot early that morning would not give me his name but was small white Lexus with. PAR PAR on the plate .

Having lunch on the patio was relaxing and peaceful.

This is a very fine country club with a great history. The staff was very attentive and you can tell it has seen some great members through there. Very well taken care of. Didnt get to golf but the course looked quite nice.

Ambience was great, but the food did not meet my expectations.

Was there for a reunion and the food was really good and so was the service.

Have been to this place and to me, it is not expensive. Plus, for the quality and service that you get, you would think they would be. Even the service people are ready and willing to help. I was very impressed with the young people, at the way they present themselves. You would think that it would be expensive to join the country club, but its not. They even have a mens bible study there. Years ago I use to go there with the Christian Women Club, for the breakfast brunch. They would meet there once a month. I really wish it would start again. Good people, food and enjoyment. If people would explore, they would find that Galveston has a lot to offer.

I cant say enough about this place. The oldest private country club in Texas, and it definitely holds up to its status! Great food and great staff! Golf course is always in amazing shape. Hard, but fun.

Great staff..course in great shape.

In general is a good place ... seafood buffet just okay and they promote LIVE MUSIC and it’s just a guy playing music with his laptop... that’s is not live music ... that’s just someone alive hitting play button...

I havent stayed here but I did eat here they had a fantastic steak dinner with wonderful sides the staff was amazing great place for a family reunion for the host a special party excellent excellent service

Every year Meals on Wheels put on a wonderful golf tournament,the staff at the country club are wonderful host, once again thanks for the invitation

The food is very good at the club. Golf course is beautiful and quite difficult at times.

Love going to the island and eating dinner at the Galveston Country Club. Staff is nice & atmosphere is awesome
