Mamady is a wonderful human! We love going in to visit his shop (and him of course) every time we go to Galveston :) He has interesting tales of his homeland in Africa, love hearing him speak about it.

Just a great place for African art!

The owner, Mamady, is so kind and welcoming. My family and I came in to browse and were blessed with the opportunity to meet him and share in stories/history of Africa and his love of the djembe. Definitely a highlight along The Strand and a place I plan to return to in the near future.

Mamady has a great shop. Im amazed at the items he maintains at his shop. Excellent place to find African cultural pieces.

Great place very interesting

Mamady is a wonderful shop if you are looking for something authentic in the African culture. Amazing tribal pieces created from many different tribes throught Africa. We love the owner, Mamady! He has so many stories, and loves to share them, as well, the knowledge of his continent!! The artifacts and pieces you find here are truly original, and one of a kind. Definitely a great place for the collector.
