What a delightful visit. My children, grandkids and i went last sat.We had a 5th GENERATIONQ man for our guide. He spoke from experience, with great knowledge and from the heart. Of all the things in the museums we seen we all agreed at lunch, he was our favorite part. Thank you all at the museum

Cool place and awesome locomotive 3006 was a treat. The store was perfect I got a snowglobe with trains on it Super chief and Zephyr.

The staff were very helpful, passionate, and friendly! Theres a nice collection of artifacts and a library of information. There are also tours of two railroad cars with guided explanations. Its very educational and eye-opening to see the wonders of railroads that helped make Galesburg and the country what it is today.

They have so much to see! The wife and I love stopping by. Great staff

Mostly pictures, some displays, some train cars. Admission $6. Presents a good image of Railway history.
