This is the natural progression once kids age out of Chuck-E-Cheese. My son and Nephew constantly beg to be taken here. Check for specials because its really expensive for video games.The food... eat somewhere else before going here. The all you can eat wings during football games is really a fun game. You order a few and the server disappears for the entire quarter. Burgers are burnt. And I have had a desert that could be used to crack the table. The server apologized and brought a much better replacement. Manager even came came by. Andrew likes the appetizers... Drink prices seem pretty reasonable... so you have something to do when the kids are playing.

This was our first time visiting this D&B and it was a great experience. Customer service was amazing. The food was hot, quickly served and great tasting. The prices were reasonable. We had a good time.

Excellent addition to the RIO area. Very good appetizers for vegans or vegetarians. Kids had blast with the games.. highly recommend for family entertainment..

This is one of the newer and awesome D&B locations. I wanted to go some place outside to eat dinner but my husband insisted so we ate inside. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing.

Absolutely delish food with a nice friendly atmosphere! Will definitely be back with the family again! Much nicer than the other locations with a friendlier atmosphere

We enjoyed our visits here. They have a pretty good selection of everything from food to games. Its a nice place for happy hours or dates. Smaller than some of the other locations, but that cant be helped. They made the most of the space they had and Im pleased to have one close to me.

Yesterday was my first time at Dave & Busters.I took my kids there so we can have fun. It was great and we will come back.

Fun place for the kids. They have okay food, TV screens by the bar (usually on sports), and semi-private rooms as well. Lots of fun activities to keep you busy. Its not cheap but the prices are reasonable for an occasional visit. Definitely sensory overload but this location is well run and (for the most part) orderly.

Had a great time with the family. Went for my husbands birthday and it was something for us all to enjoy. We had dinner there. I have the Steak and shrimp Alfredo it was delicious I would definitely order that again. It happened to be half game Wednesdays so we go so much more game play than normal.

I normally never write reviews but it was such HORRIBLE service, I had to. As soon as we walked in the kid at the front took a good 20 seconds to look up from his phone to greet us. Also think the games are a little over priced. We went to eat in the midway restaurant and it took 10 minutes for someone to even greet us (was not busy for a Sunday) once she took our order, everything came out quick but cold. If you like a room temp burger with cold cheese on top, this is your place. Waitress was MIA most of our experience. She was not serving other tables but she would disappear in the back for at least 15 min at a time. She couldn’t have been the only server missing because looking for another server to help us out was just as difficult. We had to get the host at least 3 times to get simple things like refills. Was my first time here and I was not impressed and will not be coming to the restaurant part EVER again. Don’t waste your time.

Food was good and went for the unlimited play combo. Id recommend it to kill a day!

There was nothing particularly bad about the location except I felt for an arcade there could be a better variety of games. But there were still tons of options. And also, you have to consider that Im an adult. If I were 16 and younger I would suspect that I would have a blast. The games arent very expensive. And there are quite a few things for adults to partake in. Its very crowded but I didnt have to wait very long to play any particular game. I would return because I had fun. And at the end of the day, thats what its about.

Had a blast for family funday. Our waiter Oscar was great. His recommendation for food selection was a hit. Definitely coming to Dave & Busters @Rio Gaithersburg.

Loved that D&B is close to us now.....loved the games too but the 2 stars missing are for the service at the dine-in restaurant inside. The menu looks good with usual lots of game food options like wings, nachos, sliders, burgers and noodles. We ordered Mango and strawberry margarita, wings, and chile chicken tacos. Everything was good except for the service part. As you walk in to the restaurant there will be many tables lying dirty and not cleaned. If you are with small kids, please make sure they are not facing the tv which is playing adult music videos. We had to ask twice to get water to be served at our table. Once the food was served, if we needed anything else, had to wait for a long time to get hold of our server. After paying for the food, our server couldnt wait for us to leave, to open the cheque book and make sure he has been tipped, right in front of us. There are so many dining options in Rio, next time will come for the games and probably enjoy food elsewhere.

Great place to have fun, but needs new management. Both the managers yesterday were rude. They lack basic customer service skills and need to be retrained. Thank you Cris and Kevin you just lost my business.

When I went with my uncle and cousin we just walked in and got our cards, once we started playing we found the cheapest games you got tickets for and stuck to them because they where the only ones that you really got tickets for. After playing for about a half an hour we ended up getting food which was slow but overall the food was hot when we got it and tasted good. when we went to the prize counter after eating everything was over priced for the quality... if you get anything with the tickets I would highly recommend the metal water bottle for it is the only way to get a bang for your buck. Also I wanted to point out,seeing the way that the so called owner responds to the ratings is automated and I would not take the response as a personal written review back... just wanted to point that out.

Food 2as decent bar food, next time going to try something different. Games were fun, wish there were a few more. Overall, the family and I had a lot of fun. Service was a little slow but super polite and friendly.

An awesome place and would recommend. Great games and variety of stuff. The front desk is a slow and could definitely use another person especially when busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Love the vibe and energy. The floor is kinda dirty tho.

So much fun. Sundays here for football is top notch. So many screens, so little ability to watch all the games. Great food, too. Service is great.

Probably one of the best arcades Ive been to. Super clean with plenty of games to play, food is super tasty (I recommend the buffalo wings) and bathrooms are clean. My one critique is that Ive ate there twice now and one day it was super slow service and the other day it was quite fast. All in all I would rate it a 9/10

Came here for my birthday, its a little small but typical fun D&B. They usually have pretty good promotions but unfortunately they dont run them during the holiday season so I missed out. Still a lot of fun though!

Its a great place! It does get crowded at times obviously. Its a bit tight trying to have multiple games in there. Cant exactly have a party, but you could if you dont mind a lot of other people there. I didnt get to sit down to eat at one of their two restaurants, so no comment on their food. Their wait line is pretty comparable to other popular restaurants.

The place Is ok. Great atmosphere but price for drinks are lil high comparing to buffalo wild wings. Respectful employees tho

When I arrived, I saw the big sign behind the front desk saying to use the Fun app. So I installed the app and purchased chips. Tried to use the app and it didnt work. Went to the front desk for assistance and treated very poorly as if I was bother, The app doesnt do anything except purchase chips, you have to use Google Pay to get the scan coder. So then I walked back into the game room and again, nothing was working, walked to the front desk a third time and was told the phone app doesnt work. I then requested the chips to be transferred to a game card. Again the staff acted as though I was bothering them, a manager was called. He arrived, not saying one word, punched in a code and walked away. I finally got a game card and walked back into the game room to find how expensive each game was, and how often you have to swipe the card to play the games.Im not impressed and very dissatisfied.This visit was to see if they were capable of supporting a small (20-30) family reunion. I will not be subjecting my family to this kind of unsatisfactory customer service.I will not be back.

I usually do not write reviews but felt the need to make people aware. They add a 18% suggested tip to your total bill without telling you. Then theres a line for you to add a tip manually then calculate your total bill. People usually pay attention to the total only then add a tip to it, so if you dont pay attention to what makes up the total you will end up tipping twice. If its a suggested tip then why would it be included in the total??? Ive called management and left several messages for them to credit me back the additional tip but no one has yet to call me back or fix the issue. A lot of people dont even keep their receipts so if you are not paying real close attention youre getting scammed to tip twice. This is very deceitful to customers.

You guys did a great job! The party was alive with the drinks, the vibe and the games. I love the pacman machine that takes donations. The drinks were interesting and tasty-my kind of cocktails. The staff were awesome. I hope you keep it up. Very positive experience and will be coming back soon.

We had a great time here. The Eat and play package is wonderful. My nieces and nephews are here visiting from London and they had a blast!! The food was great, our server was very friendly and the drinks were really good. Will definitely return with just the adults next time as they have a happy hour! Yay for half off drinks.

Simply a ton of fun. A grown up version of Chuck e Cheese. Brand spanking new. Large bar area with tasty food. On our visit there were families, groups of teens, birthday groups and parents out for a date night. Very well run with employees constantly tidying up the gaming floor of any food or used glasses left around. Didnt see people having to wait around for turns playing games.

Great for watching games, really comfortable bar stools, friendly bartenders, quick service and great weekly specials. Lots of fun definitely glad they opened up hopefully management keeps this place going strong. Thursday wing and game special is the best deal out there!

Service was terrible. Had to get up to get my own glasses for the beer tower. Wasn’t informed of any football specials so everything we ordered that was on special for $5 we were charged regular price and she didn’t even want to fix it. She said it was too late when we noticed. Service super slow for the amount of people sitting by the bar. If you go I’d recommend you request Sergio or Lucci, they’re great!

I enjoy going to this Dave and Busters. Im glad they put another one in Montgomery County. We usually see a movie at the AMC and go here for a few games.

Love the portion sizes and the food is delicious! Came on a Saturday night with the boys it was amazing! They had a pretty beer girl pushing a cart of beer which I don’t see often in other location very amazing attentive servers. Will definitely be coming back on my free weekends

It’s a great place for adults to have fun as well as kids. I enjoyed being able to bring as many people as I can and try out every game there is for a good price!

First time at this location and gameroom experience was fine not too crowded for a Friday night. Only downside that messed up my family’s visit was our server Jose. Something was off about him not sure if he had consumed something or was just tired. But might be something you want to look into. He was very rude and had asked one of my family members to bring us the check instead of bringing it himself to our table. We asked him a question about a drink and we got a response that was not adequate in the tone and response given. Please address this issue or retrain if necessary so this doesn’t happen again with any other guest in the future.

I was very surprised at how much space this has. It doesnt seem very large from the outside. The bar is a little more accessible then some other locations and the game selection is nice.

This D&Bs is brand new and shiny. Nice staff, easy access to the peripherals that you need. My only knock against it is that it does not have the selection of games that other locations have. Since my favorites are missing, its not as likely that I will go back even though I live less than a mile away.

Food was okay. We only had nachos. The issue was the hostess. There was 2 of us. The hostess escorted us to the other side of the building. Never asked us were we preferred to sit. We had to ask her if we could sit at a table by the bar. To which she says The tables are dirty. Really? My BFF had to say then can it get cleaned? To which the hostess walked off with an attitude. The table by the bar was cleaned for us. Our Male server was great. The young lady walking around with the syringe jello shots. Was sweet. Came to check on us before she left. We appreciated that. But that sort dark haired hostess...

Bartenders are great.. received speedy & consistent service everytime i came up for a drink. Place seems a little small compared to other D&B Ive visited. Employees were always walking around cleaning and/or servicing games which was a huge plus for me. Had a couple issues with some of the games & i was quickly able to find help even during a busy Saturday evening

Dave & Buster’s brought it on for the VIP event at Rio. The staff was super friendly, attentive and had great attitude. The food was delicious! Much, much better than the other D&B locations. The drinks were not weak, just right. The decor was modern and trendy. Love the multiple TV displays. Great for watching games. Also, I was glad to see new arcade games at this location. Overall, D&B blew me away at the VIP event. They went above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely be bringing the kids here regularly. Finally, a place where both the kids and the adults can have fun!

I had the worst experience last night at this location. A group of friends and I went to have a fun night that ended in embarrassment and disappointment. We loaded our cards, played a few games and sat down to eat. The food was good but the salad I ordered had to be sent back due to having two dressings I didn’t ask for. By the time they bought it back everyone was done so I just said forget it. We paid for our food and drinks, but here is where it went south. A friend had a coupon for a free appetizer, mind you we spent over $200 on food and drinks alone. We were just waiting for her to pay, but the manager’s Kevin Barahona and Kris Clemente, said it could not be used because one of the young ladies we were with used to work there. We were all confused as to what that had to do with anything. Long story short they applied the coupon but were very rude regarding the situation. Kris Clemente refused to even come to the table to talk to us and Kevin Barahona said we had to leave and had us escorted out by security, all over an appetizer when we literally payed hundreds of dollars at this establishment. If we made a scene, or if there was an altercation then I could understand but this was absolutely unwarranted, unnecessary and embarrassing. We all had plenty of money on our cards and asked if we could at least be refunded the money we put on our cards and we were told no. When we asked why we had to leave the manager would not even tell us. I have celebrated both of my boys birthday here one in October and another just recently in February while they were at the Ritchie Marlboro location and we were treated great, I will not be back. I have never been treated this way and will never return to this location. Very bad customer service and business practices.

Kids love it. Food was not as pictured and bar service was lacking. Management, Kris,was super friendly and my waiter Brittany was very accommodating. It’s a great way to get the kids off the couch playing video games to standing and playing video games.

The new location is very nice. The unlimited play card with food is totally worth it. If you are looking for a quieter place to eat, the restaurant section that is separate from the bar area is the way to go.

Great games, terrible customer service. From the first meeting of the host they seemed preoccupied with conversations. I literally had to flag my server down for everything, remind him to bring all of the drinks we ordered. For the missing meals that didn’t arrive, I made trips to the bar to finally get the drinks and napkins. I saw a manager occasionally come out from the back but he disappeared quickly. This was over 2 hours, I’m pretty patient but it was terrible. The bathrooms had pubs in the sink, not just one, but all of them. This place wasn’t overly busy.

Who doesnt like playing games. It is actually a fun place to go as an adult with a lot of cool addicting games.

Had my birthday here it was fun the staff are very nice and helpful I got the nacho appetizer and the sliders so good get them steak sliders.

New is better I guess. Much cleaner and the arcade games are not broken. Havent tried to food yet but the atmosphere is more family oriented compare to the one in White Flint Mall.

Had the BEST time at the VIP Opening event! The service was amazing, and there were new games that I haven’t seen at other D&Bs. Also super yummy drinks. So cool! Hopefully after the grand opening, this place continues to thrive. (:

Food is terrible. Seriously, how can it be this bad? We were seated before 5 and had to remind the waitress we wanted the unlimited play option. She told us that they had changed the promo. Unlimited blue and $10 for green games. Okay fine. We only had 5 choices for food for the $18/pp option. All unhealthy. Well we went to start playing and had come to find out we were only given $10 total in credits. The package we were sold didnt exist anymore. Really???? Then why are you telling me it did??? They called over a manager who was VERY rude and condescending to me. He explained what happened and I told him that their inability to train their wait staff wasnt my problem. I ate a lousy meal and I wasnt thrilled with the bait and switch. The manager took our cards and gave us unlimited blue but we lost our $10 in green games. Whatever. I wont be returning!!! Beware of their bait and switch tactics and horrible food.

Good fun-filled place for kids with several basketball games available; the number of chips provided per purchase was plentiful; reasonable; ticket prizes could improve but still large selection; cashier at prize checkout could be more competent; food service waiter at bar was professional; however; the food service person (stocky guy) that brought orders out to table chose not to ask which plates went where instead just quickly placed and slid all orders on table without consideration.Overall, great, fun place for kids to spend a couple hours with friends.

The food and customer service is VERY good, but after walking into their game room, this is a massive reason why arcades are dying across the US. Its straight up ticket based BS games and casualized mobile games thrown into cabinets, primarily meant for either young children or drunk adults. There are absolutely zero good modern arcade cabinets in the entire establishment. Its embarrassing that I waited so long for this location to open up and they completely drop the ball on the whole arcade function. You couldnt even save some of the good cabinets from the old White Flint location???If youre in it for only food/drinks, its a great time and worth it for anyone. If your main reason for going here is for arcade games, STAY AWAY and wait for Round 1 to open up in Baltimore in early 2020.

Brand new Dave and Busters!! Location is good and partying wasn’t a problem! The food? Is ok. The drinks??! We’re good and strong! The service was on point!! Definitely bringing my kids here soon. I just went with my husband and some friends.

Everything was fine and great! I did register for Davd and busters but I didn’t get a confirmation on Dave and busters account. But I love the food and drinks and environment. Big bar, medium size game room but enough to make you lose track of time.

Friendly staff, but looks like they were under staff in the Midway dinning area. Took way to long for the order and 1 order came 20 min later from the original. Refill on drinks was also very delayed. Perhaps well get better luck on our next visit.

It was as I expected at a soft opening. The place looked great (clean, spacious, comfortable seats) and the staff was excited to great us and tend to our every need. The drinks exceptional as usual. The only reason why there is one star missing is due to the food. Its the same at all locations (attended B-Day over the weekend) and I find it to be either overdone, greasy, and or just not good. For the picky eater I would like to see lighter/cleaner items on the menu. But then again, I dont go to a D&B to eat. I go to have fun with the kids.

The bar was well staffed, fast, and friendly, and the food was pretty good. You could almost come here just for the bar, especially if there is a game on.

Very loud. Not good if you are sensitive to light as all of the games flash. My eight year had a great time. All of the games were in working order except one Skee Ball machine. Prize area was well stocked and had a decent selection to choose from. Didnt get anything from the restaurant, so cant comment on food or service, but the arcade was fun!

The new place is fun. The idea of having a bar in the middle didnt turn out to be the great as I thought it would. My husband and I have been there a couple of times, but my husband is surprised there are no pool tables at this place like other Dave and busters.

Got a mega card for 75 $ we played games for at least 2 plus hours (all 4 of us) great deal.One thing you cant miss is the virtual reality game well worth the 6$ fee.Highly recommendIf you can get there early check out the boardwalk and try the paddle boats. Tip: get there before 2:00. Thats right before the crowds come.Son and I finally took the trip to Rio and Dave and Busters. Pretty cool. The place is clean and the lighting gives the arcade vibe. People at the front desk are very helpful and dont try to load you up on the mega package. Our receptionist asked how long we expected to be there and suggested a 24 or so dollar package. I went for a higher price one. Everything is done via a card so you may want to bring a lanyard with a plastic sleeve and retractable device. All the machines are swipe or insert.Most every game gives you tickets but not paper ones. Tickets are tracked on your card. Wow. I like that.Food is pricey, though its to be expected. But the food was very food. Son had the pretzel dogs and I had the tacos. Service is pretty quick. Eating area is cleanEveryone is there for a good time. Ranged from small kids through teens and grown ups of all generations. Even when it got crowded, everyone played well together.Scan your card to see how many points you have. The items you can redeem points for are actually decent, especially the D&B stuff.Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. No issues there.Definitely recommend. My son may have hi is birthday party there. Its kid kool and up.

Terrible. 4th day open and took a friend their for her birthday. Party of 12. Drinks came out separately and about a half hour after ordered. Food was even worse, wrongly prepared, wrong food, came out separate and took over an hour and a half, second and third rounds came a half hour after that for the rest of the party. It was cold and missing things we needed and had placed with the orders. Spoke to a manager who really did not rectify the situation with a small price break on the meals. Highly disappointed. I will not be back. First and last experience with Dave and Busters

I attended the VIP grand opening celebration and had the best time playing games -- especially the VR! The staff was wonderful, and the food & drinks were delicious. I especially loved the Pretzel Wrapped Hot Dogs!

The arcade section is great but the restaurant in it is horribleHorrible service, rude servers below average food, the soup sent out to us was cold.On top of that, we see an additional 20 dollars added to our bill without our knowledge. I had a great time at the grand opening of Dave & Busters in Gaithersburg, MD. The food was tasty, the staff was friendly and professional, the atmosphere was fun, and there were more than enough video games to play! Two thumbs up! Ill definitely be back!

If you dont know, Dave and Busters is an arcade that is over priced but since arcades dont really exist anymore they get away with it. Youll have a good time, but you could always just buy a game system and play at home for less for longer.

It was very enjoyable and the easiest game was Pop The Lock Ive won it multiple times in a single gaming session with my family. The only problems I see are people being flustered and losing things. The time limits for games. And I think the food was a little on the bad side. With pink meat in the middle of a burger but Im not really into complaining or suing soooo... Yeah 4 stars

Took my son there today to celebrate his birthday and myself, his cousin, him and his sister all had a great time the service was great, the food we had was good, and all the employees that we had interactions with were very helpful and polite will definitely return in the near future. They all truly made my son feel special on his day.

It was very good time but I feel like its prices might but a little high.

Got sat down, 40 min in and our waiter still has yet to say hi. For you big eaters don’t be fooled by the unlimited wings. If you want to eat more than 12 you’ll be waiting at least 2 hours
