5 star experience. Went for frames and Christmas decorations and the staff was beyond helpful. Very impressed. Store was clean, nothing out of place.

Has a good amount of variety of art materials and decor items. And their sales time prices are very good. However, the downside is the service. I am not talking about the staff in store, they are really helpful. But the coupons received over email never work. Really disappointed with this. I infact had gotten a call from Michaels and they explained me the offer, they had emailed me. But when I went in to the store for using it, I was told I cant use that (staff in store were nice and understood my issue. but they couldnt actually help me use the coupon)

Went for acrylic paint and they had low stock over multiple visits, but employees were friendly and I was able to find what I needed, or where it was, pretty quickly.

They pretty much have everything you need for your crafting hunger, but I would do research online to make sure they have what you need and when you go in, ask an associate where to find them so you can go in and get out with your things, unless of course youd like to spend an hour or so at the store. Staff is very friendly and helpful.BTW... they do not have greeting cards

Michaels did an excellent job framing two posters to match one done a number of years ago.

Ordered online and received notice that my order was ready for pick up same day. I elected to go the next day. I parallel parked in front of the store, called the phone number in the email confirming my order was email, told them my order information, and then it was brought out to my car for curbside pick up. Only negative was that all the parallel parking spots were full when I arrived. After making a loop in the parking lot, I saw someone getting out of their car and became one of those annoying people to block the street while waiting for the person to pull out. It would be great if Michaels reserved a few of those spaces for curb side pick up but Im sure thatd be annoying for those going into the store (its a no win).

If youre into arts and crafts, you can find almost everything here. From painting & wood supplies to project kits to jewelry making, silk flowers & ribbons to cake making supplies, etc etc, your hobby is covered.Plus they offer a large variety of different classes for beginners to the advanced students.And youll find decorations for all occasions and seasons.They also have a professional framing dept that does a great job. It isnt cheap, but their prices are still better than most places and fast.Make sure to take 1 of their plentiful coupons with you or shop during 1 of their many On Sale days.The store is large, well organized and brightly lit, so matching colors or finding what you need is pretty easy.A definite first stop for starter supplies when trying a new hobby. Youll save a LOT of money and time figuring out if your new hobby is a keeper.And please make sure to ask about their easy return policies before buying. Like every good store their return policies are great but they do have exceptions.

Fun to walk around and get ideas. Would have been 5 stars but could not find anyone to get down something up high. Also the coupon is only for things not on sale so it usually does not work.

Kept organized and tidy. Aisles are wide enough so it is easy to maneuver through. Only downside is that its busy on the weekends so parking can be scarce.

This store has everything a person needs for their crafts. The people there are really helpful and full of ideas. Give yourself time to check out all of their isles.

What can you say - just about any supply you could want for dozens of crafts. Shopping on the internet is nice, but sometimes there is no substitute for actually seeing what you are buying, and craft supplies are one of those times.This Michaels has an excellent framing department worth extra mention; Ive had them frame up several old pictures and posters and the results are beautiful.

Generally clean. Lots of seasonal goods. But to make room for the seasonal products, this location tends to redesign their interior layout and the placement of their regular crafting products. Doing so makes finding the same products difficult to find.

I love going to Michaels, but I was turned off by this location. An elderly gentleman was ringing me up today, and during my transaction a supervisor was scolding him. She was extremely rude! From what I heard he had put a call on hold, and by the time he got back to the call the person had hung up. She continuously told him out loud, and in the walkie that he should have told her about the call. The man told her, he didn’t want to interrupt her while she was ringing someone up. I could see the man had a hearing aid in his ear. Her tone was disgusting, and frankly I felt very sorry for the cashier. He was very kind and handled my transaction quickly. Please hire better managers! There is a way to talk to people, and that is not it!**Update- I did call corporate about this issue. The store manager called me back to address this matter, and assured me this would be addressed. Im grateful this situation was handled promptly.

This is a nice store. The aisles are organized and well stocked. I always find interesting items while wandering around. There are usually good sales on photo frames, so its worth checking out that area.

Nice sized Michaels with tons of art supplies. I suggest downloading the app so you always have their coupons on hand. My only complaint is that when they run out of something it takes forever to get it back in stock and many of the employees dont know anything about the store they work in.

This is a nice Michaels, with a good selection. The lighting was a little dark. They had a great selection for cake decorating.

Always have what I need. The store is neat and well organized. There only reason I didnt rate it a 5 is because sometimes there are not enough employees there to help me find things.

Great place to go to if you are looking for art materials or projects. The problem is that I cant find some of the stuff I find in the store online. Plus, the prices are a bit high, but Michaels has lots of big coupons like 40% ~ 60% Off for single full price items or total items.

My first visit to this location and I almost couldnt contain myself. So many things and beautiful decor. Note to self. Dont go to Michaels with all your money in your wallet, lol.

This craft store makes you want to spend lots of time in it. It has so many different aisles to find items for any project you plan on doing. I always find what I need. The sales are great too. The only thing I find is that they always seem to be short staffed with long lines.

Always good inventory. They could use a few more people on the registers. I feel like there is always a long wait when I am there.

Michaels is a great place to get gifts for birthday party, art supplies, craft items, decorations, toys and other items you dont see in department stores. Its always pleasant ro shop there. By the way, dont forget to search for the store coupon online before you check out. You could save 20~40%.

Craft beer selection was dated, and so two years ago. They wouldn’t let me give a sip to my baby daughter, even though that’s our special thing, and it’s totally kosh. Will not bring my business here again.

Michaels has a lot of stuff but never the unique items I go looking for. The baking section is more for cakes, cookies, and cupcakes than for breads and pastries. The paint and drawing sections are more for hobbiests than for professional artists.

Staff member was on her way across the store and a customer asked for help and she gladly stopped and helped her find what she needed. Once she was done I asked if I could ask a quick question about which glue was appropriate to use. This lady gets on her microphone and said “hey you’re going to have to wait, I keep getting stopped by customers” with a big attitude. OKAYY Not how I would define customer service. Nice try though.

Just stopped in because we needed a couple items and was able to find them. Also found some items on sale at a really good price. Had a little wait to be checked out, only 2 registers open.

Michaels is a neat Craft Store located in Kentlands MD. It is bright and spacious. It carries jewelry supplies, painting supplies, silk flowers and other craft items. Classes are offered on a regular basis. They also do custom framing.
