Every day up to 18,300 gallons of sewage from Baker & Glover Mobile Home Park flows through a private wastewater treatment plant before being released into tributaries of Little River that lead to Lake Lanier. Reasons like these is why Lake Lanier is polluted. This lake was recently listed in Georgia Water Coalition’s 2019 Dirty Dozen report, which highlights 12 of the worst offenses to Georgia’s water.
This is like a high-class Redneck trailer park a word of advice if you want to stay here it would be a good idea to learn Spanish also would be a great place if you enjoy the weekend fiestas
I moved here a few years back and dont have any complaints. I chose this place because of the affordability while I was finishing up college. Lot rent is very reasonable if you own the home. Not sure about renting here, I do know the owner does rent some units. The owner and maintenance man are wonderful. It does get a little noisy here with the boom boom music at times, but usually not too late at night. I have never once had a problem with crime. Now that I have graduated, I will probably end up relocating out of state, otherwise I would continue living here while paying off my student loans. Riverbend Elementary is the local school and its great.
