Customer service here is absolutely superb! Not only a great experience when I purchased my boat over a year ago, but the customer service that follows after. This is not my marina but stopped in to get some gas for my jetski. I liked that the dock was much lower than where I usually get gas and it was no where near as busy as other marinas. They also have jetski ports but it is not so close to the pump. My jetski is a larger model and there wasnt much room to move around on the port. It was almost impossible for me to get the jetski off. It was very late in the afternoon and no one else was around to help.

Bought a used boat, less than a year later needed 2300$ in repairs and not only that they were confused about when it was ready, they won’t clean it, won’t put gas in it. They charge you a fortune and won’t do the little service things. Take your money somewhere else

This is a great Marina for people who want to get away to the North End of Lake Lanier. If youre looking for a little more solitude, this is the place to be. Rates are reasonable compared to the south end of the lake. Boaters are very friendly here. Very quiet and relaxed. A good group of people to meet some new friends and hang out.

Had a great experience with the repair shop today. Even with it being a holiday weekend Chuck was able to figure out our fuel filter needed to be replaced. Huge shoutout to him for getting us back on the water.

Very pleasant experience with the folks at the rental office at Gainesville Marina. We got checked in and on the water very quickly. It helped that I disclosed my years of boating experience but it still took an organized crew to get us out on the water as quick as they did. The boat was new (which means they keep their equipment updated). Very happy with the service at Gainesville Marina!

Love this guys. They are just great overall. Their maintenance & repair prices are not outrageous. What’s more is they do good work. I am very please with this marina. First time using them for boat repairs and we will be back! If you have questions they have the answers.

Its refreshing in this day and age that some people still do what they say they are going to do. Kudos to Gainesville Marine and their entire team!

Very pretty location. Super friendly atmosphere. Restaurant on the premises with a Sunday morning brunch buffet. Again, really friendly staff and fantastic service. Goid place to eat. Nice marina neat and clean and well maintained.

I have been a customer for 5 years now and have always been taken care of. My first day heading out I called to have the boat put in the water and left the house. I got a call a few minutes later letting me know the battery was dead. They were going to try and charge it but wanted to know if they should replace if bad. I authorized it an started to worry about the time it would take to fix. I pulled up 30 minutes after the call and the boat had a new battery and was warmed up for me. They tested the battery again in front of me to show me it truly was bad. The next 5 years has been the same. Not always prefect but more importantly they make it right when there is an issue. All around great crew, but if you havent met Brandon, take the time to get to know him. He really cares like an owner would and is a great guy.

The service and atmosphere were good, the food was barely fair, considering the cost the food was sub par.The slips for the restaurant are in horrible shape. My grandchildren called it Halloween and scary.There is room for improvement

Every bit as good as holiday Marina few miles north Gainsville Marina however the slip rental rates are significantly cheaper at the Gainesville Marina the only drawback here is there is far less security in the evening hours but if youre all right with that go with Gainsville Marina youll save money and it and and you wont find any significant differences with services or product offerings

I believe they don’t believe in selling there pontoon boats. I have try too buy a pontoon a few years ago and had the same issues again as I was in the market for another pontoon, as I find one at this place again. So with that being say I call to make my offer and ask a few more questions, as the salesman at I was put with was supposed to call me back after he find out the information, well needless to say he never call me back. So I call the salesman manager a day later and ask him why no one got back with me. He was very rude guy so after talking too him telling him what I offer he was oh yeah we can do that. So he ask me to fill out a credit application on online got that done call the guy back, he was oh yeah we have it we will be in touch with you so I figured since was Memorial Day weekend I would get a call back Tuesday ready too sell the pontoon too me well as they done me last time no one ever call me back and that’s been almost a week now! I can’t believe at they do people this way makes me sick to know at they do good people this way! I believe the sales manager needs to step up his game on his salesman and call people back! KEEP PONTOON I TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSE WHERE! WHAT A JOKE

Gainesville Marina is an excellent Marina Ive known for years that people are really well really good there they have a restaurant up there that has good food I would recommend it the slip prices are fine reasonable

The boat ramp st the marina is open to the public and open 24 hours. Theres also overnight security at the marina so its a pretty safe place to leave you truck and trailer overnight, the only downside really is the $4 ramp fee

We purchased an older pontoon, and live near Gainesville Marina. Not knowing how the pontoon had been cared for, I took it to Gainesville Marina in November, 2017 to let them perform a full inspection, and tell me everything that needed to be completed to keep us safe on the water. For $400 they performed a 100 hour maintenance, greased a steering cable and fixed the broken fuel gauge, which they told me would always read low because they didnt have a long enough arm for a more accurate reading. Unfortunately, after finally getting the pontoon on the water, I noticed the fuel gauge was not fixed at all. As such, I took it back to Gainesville Marina to have them make good on the money I paid to have this done. On the way over to the marina I noted the pontoon periodically lost power, and informed them of that when I dropped it off. They fixed the fuel gauge and told me they ran it for 15 minutes and it was working great. Two days later, on Mothers Day in the middle of Lake Lanier the pontoon completely stalled. I called a friend, and has us towed to the nearest boat launch. To Gainesville Marinas credit, they did meet me at the boat launch to trailer the pontoon and take it back for service. The next diagnosis was a cracked fuel line, since it was apparently old with dry rot. $400 later the pontoon was fixed. My question is why something such as a hose that can visibly be inspected for something like dry rot wasnt noticed as an issue in the two times I took the pontoon in for service, and told them the motor was losing power on the way to their shop. Ultimately, they did reduce the bill by $55 for my troubles as they thought that was fair, and noted they didnt charge me for the tow. My position is, had they done the job they were hired to do the first (and second) time around, we wouldnt have stalled our entire family in the middle of Lake Lanier on Mothers Day.
