Overbrook Mobile Home Park

Visited a friend here. Clean. Lots of kids and families. Driveway needs paving due to giant potholes. Homes are only feet away from each other, makes for a claustrophobic experience. Decent place to live if privacy isnt that important to you.

Drove by and decided to take a look at the place. A resident saw me looking around and started to talk to me. I would definitely not want to rent here with the rent being that high. Also, the person showed me their place. It made me turn around quickly and walk out of the place. Look at other places to rent or just buy your own mobile home on a plot of land

Just went to browse around since they were leasing.. Well as i went to turn around..two guys came out of no where questioning me on what i was doing there..like they owned the place or something..i definitely didnt feel comfortable with that..and Im pretty sure i wouldnt even rent here...the trailers are so close together and you have no yard at all...Its too crowded for me && my family...

Mobile home park gone down in 10yrs....no room to park potholes everywhere.. mobile homes on top of mobile homes.

Need to fix road

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Where to start?Tries to raise rent significantly when lease is up; if your air conditioning unit or fridge or any other appliance breaks (even if its over 5 years old) they BILL THE TENANT, and then send an eviction notice if its not paid within 1 month.They evicted a house of drug dealers, whom they knew were infested with cockroaches and had over 8 people living in 1 trailer. It took a hazmat looking team over 2 days to clean it out. And ROACHES EVERYWHERE, running across the street an all.Since then at least 3 trailers near it have become infested and landlord REFUSES to pay for an exterminator.As a matter of fact, just this morning, I opened my kitchen cabinets and 2 flew out and almost landed on me. Then went scurrying off to wherever they are hiding beneath the floor/cabinets..They have been EVERYWHERE since they evicted that particular tenant, but landlord doesnt mind as long as hes getting his $$$$And if roaches dont bother you, how about the DEA showing up with the local sheriff and busting down someones door. And theres been under covers driving around here ever since ..Not somewhere you want to live with kids. Not somewhere you really should want to live at all.Everyone that lives here has been moving out 1 by 1 and I have only lived here 6 months and seen at least 6 people move out.Were next too.For 700 a month, go find yourself an apartment complex that actually FIXES things, that actually uses pest control, that does lawncare more than once a month, maybe even a yard without so many fire ant mounds your kids can actually play outside ...Oh and of those 6 people, NONE of them got their security deposit back. That should tell you a lot about this landlord. And one of them even completed their lease and had been paying month to month for 6 months.I personally was told, if you complete your lease and we inspect and theres no damages, I will consider giving you your deposit back (for a SERVICE DOG that he wanted a $700 security deposit for )if your low on options, go for it...But if you have a choice, DONT MOVE HERE!
