Great fun place for the kids! Free for residents and only $2 for non residents.
I brought my niece (2.5) and nephew (4.5) along with my little guy (16 months) here over the summer...they had an absolute BLAST!! The park is clean, has great shelters if you want to stay out of the sun, and lots of space to run and be kids! I cant believe its free, but that just adds to the list of perks.
Cute gated splash pad with a dumping bucket and several play sprinklers. The dry park is right beside and in direct view. There isnt much sitting room, which is fine if youre an interactive parent. However, there is a small pavilion in vision of both sections. Cheap family fun for those stir crazy summer days!
This place is great!! So many fun things for the kids. It was well maintained and the staff was very friendly and efficient. The bathrooms were clean and were close to also use for changing . The playground right next to it is a bonus. The kids can go back and forth.
This to a great summer destination for the area. The excitement of the kids, especially when the bucket is about to spill, is contagious. I like that an adult gets in free with the child. I have as much fun as the kids and the kids love being able to play with the adults. Even kids I didnt know would spray me and use me to hide behind and enjoy playing in the water. I do recommend wearing shoes that can deal with water since it can be slippery. There is also a picnic pavilion and a playground right next to the splash pad.
Its ok, tiny and mostly for very young kids. And parents need shaded benches to sit and watch their children in the splash pad area. There were two small benches and both in the blazing hot sun. The picnic pavilion is too far away to watch young children in the splash area.
We are a family with 3 kids so the entrance fee was $6. Not bad at all! The splash pad had plenty for the kids and adults to do. Nothing super fancy but totally awesome on a hot summer day. It’s fenced in too! The playground is nice and big however it has rubber mulch. While that would be a great thing, during the summer it gets super hot and even wearing shoes and being wet from the splash pad we could feel the heat! Will definitely be back next time in Nc.
Nice small splash pad. The playground right next door made this even more fun for the kids to run back and forth to. Shaded areas with tables not far off from the splash pad. $2 per child entry is fairSplash pad could use a few more seating areas. Parts of the pad are coming up in a few areas.
Grandson love it....so did i ...he had an wonderful time
Great place for a family outing. I recommend bringing shoes as the ground can be slippery. Also they have bathrooms on site to change
My kids loved it! Only con is there wasnt many benches around the splash pad. only 2 and no shade.
Great splash pad lots of fun for the kids! Unfortunately the hours hadnt updated on Google and as of September 2nd theyre only open until 3 p.m.
Went here for a birthday party. Very fun. Only one shaded shelter area, however.
I like the it. But i did not go to it today. My brother did at summer camp. We love summer a lot
Please change your website to correctly reflect that its closed for the season.
My children had an amazing time. If you live in town then you can get a pass to enter for free. Even if you arent a resident then its only $2 a kid. The splash pad is open daily.
Our kids love it here! Theres a playground and a walking path along with the splash pad, and a new basketball court is being built right now. Theres also plenty of parking and the cost for the splash pad is extremely low. A great place for a day with the kids. Theres also a covered picnic shelter with about 10 tables and some seating near or to the splash pad. All around a nice place.
Excellent! very nice picnic area, staff super nice. we came here from spring lake and will definitely be back!
Very fun. Pack a picnic if you live little far and then make a day of it.
An awesome place to have here in Fuquay. Props to the Town of Fuquay for hooking up the residents with this. Our little girl loved it. We will be back regularly this summer.
Very inexpensive and awesome fun for kids and a great opportunity to share with your children.
Pros: clean, playground next to it, fairly clean restrooms, fields for sports activities, cheap.Cons: need more tables & seating, splash area can be bigger.
I brought my 18 month old son here the other day and had a great experience. Its very clean and the staff was friendly and informative. Definitely a great place to bring the kids on a hot NC day!
Freedom grands had of splashing and enjoying the facility. Also, very clean!
Used to be free and much more enjoyable. Now its dull. Okay for kids but not worth the drive.
Super nice park! Bathrooms are very clean! The ground at the park is made of rubber! Which I love!!
Visiting from upstate NY. Great place to bring family to cool off.
Great way to cool off without spending a fortune.
Very well keep splash park for little ones. My daughters love it.
We love this splash pad! The only thing that freaks me out us behind the big dump bucket, theres a spot in the dirt that the water has washed away and has created a HUGE hole underneath the fence that becomes a huge puddle. Its super scary with littles because if a kid is standing in the puddle and the bucket dumps, they get splashed with a ton of water and could easily fall in the puddle and/or get stuck under the fence.
My beautiful grandbaby loves it here
Amenities could use shaded area. Friendly
The splash pad is well maintained, and the kids love spending time here in the summer.
Keeps the kids busy and cool at the same time, at a affordable price
The splash park is a nice alternative for children not quite ready for an actual pool. The playground and pavilion are conveniently located right next to the park. The cost is reasonable.
Fun and a great distraction to the hot summer day.
Spent 30 minutes in line (of only 3 people) to get a resident pass to the splash pad. The person, not particularly friendly, didnt bother to mention that the splash pad wasnt even open!It would be nice and also common sense to post on the website and otherwise acknowledge when--for some reason--the splash pad is not operating on the published/advertised hours.
Love this. Love that there is a park right beside it too. Its only $2 to get in. Will be going a lot this summer.
Great place for kids of all ages!
Very nice place to bring kids, only reason I’m giving it a two star is because one of the employee that is suppose to be pushing the button once the water is getting low, was too busy on his phone and would only push it once there was no water. So unprofessional to be on the phone instead of doing your job...
Absolutely did not live up to all the hype. So disappointed. So small. We have free, better splash pads closer to us.
Kids had fun. Not much shade. I was a little upset at how the teenage boy that was in charge treated my 8 year old. The rainbow sprinkler at the front was broken. My son was one of many that decided to swing on it. The teenage boy that was on his phone most of the time saw my son doing it. Instead of being professional about it and asking my son not to swing on it, that it was not safe, he rudely yelled “hey kid, stop doing that or I’m going to kick you out!” I think if they are going to represent the town they should have some lessons in being professional and how to treat others...especially children.
My 2 year old and I came to the splash pad today. It was a lot of fun! The reasons for the 4 star review instead of 5 are:1. The splash pad is supposed to open at 10 am. The water was on and everything was ready to go this morning except for their staff. We had to wait for them to open the window to pay until about 10:10. We could only stay until about 11 today, so we missed out on 10 mins of play because their staff wasnt ready. And the line was LONG by that point.2. Some of the water features were not working. The rainbow arches didnt work at all while we were there, as well as, a few other smaller features that are good for the smaller children that are nervous about the big buckets, ect. So my daughter just hung around the small mushroom the entire time.
Fun time for the kids. Can spend about an hour- hour and a half there before the kids get restless. Does the job of keeping kids cool on a hot day.
Why not just build a community pool it would be more beneficial to everyone. Just saying
Awesome place for families to go... Our little one LOVES it. Love this place. Facility is clean and staff members are always friendly!
Loved it but needs a place to swim
A fun visit
We love this place! It would benefit from more shade, but its such a great thing to do on a summer weekend. Highly recommend!
Never a dull moment with the kids here!
Lots of fun! Kids love it. So affordable.
A nice place to bring children to get wet on a hot summer day!
Seems nice for smaller kids and tots. Smaller than expected.
Great place for the kids to play and get some energy out!
First time here, we had a blast, spent about 3 hours keeping cool. Lots of fun for kids and adults. The actual plash pad is gated and its a pretty large area. Playground and picnic areas as well, one concession stand that closed around 5:30 while we were there with basic snacks and cold drinks. $2 entrance with one free adult admittance per child (fyi: if you have more than one adult and more than one child avoid the additional adult fee by seperating family into one adult per child groups if possible), the only con to this place would be the concrete flooring within the splash pad, no texture what so ever as i have seen in other similar places to avoid slips and falls, but as long as parents stay vigilant its a blast.
My kids love it, lots of different water toys. Enclosed area. Playground next to it as well!
We had a ball!! My kids loved the spash pad and playground. My only issue was the lack of shade and parental sitting. Please add a near by auning or gazebo
Kids will enjoy
Needs way more seating and shade around it. Its like they gave up 95% of the way thru the construction.
Awsome place for kids
This is a fun place to go on a hot day.
We are out of towners but our three year old and one year old LOVE to visit this splash pad when we come to Grandmas house! It is the best one we have visited. I did want to caution potential visitors about the hours posted on Google. I dont think they reflect the seasonal nature of the park. We have been disappointed on more than one occasion by visiting during the business hours posted on Google and finding that the park was closed. Try the Town of FVs website instead!
The older kids knocked over my younger cousins
Closed in the fall and winter, but a good play area with fields and paved walking circle.
A lot of fun for a hot summer day!! The waterpark is gated so the kids are playing within the permitted area. It also has a kids play area (the dry area) on left side of the waterpark with slides, swings etc. Has a picnic shelter that you can reserve as well!!
Very good place
Nice place to let the kids cool off at
Enjoyable and fun but very limited size
Nice, clean and the kids enjoyed it!!!
Grands loved it
Lots of fun for kids of all ages!
It was a LOT of fun for all of us and refreshing
Small but fun place for a summer day. $2 admission
Such a fun place to spend a summer day!
Great place for the kiddos on hot days
All 3 kids napped afterwards
Lots of fun can get crowded around 11
Loads of fun for the kids and the young at heart!!!
Kids loved it.
Awesome for the kids!!
I loved it
So fun!!
Good cheap time for the kids
Love it!
Great summer fun for the kids.
Parents, please bring a chair and umbrella. There is no place to sit or no shade protection out here at all.
For my grandchildren and others
It was great
Very clean and the kids love it
