Went to the Christmas event 2yrs now and love the museum! Cute, quaint, and my kid adored it!! They say about 200 trains pass through Fullerton each day, making it the busiest station in So. Cal and many of the cars date back to 1940-50s have been restored.Volunteer options to really get involved!!Love this place! And special thank you to Santa and Mrs. Claus!!

So much more than we expected!!! Fun activities for kids. Informative and knowledgeable staff that make the visit a trip back in time to where you feel like you are in the past. Highly recommend!

I cant do a proper review because the museum was closed on Sat, Feb 2 at 10am -- due to rain lol. Are these rail aficionados that run this place? Anyone who is passionate about trains would know a little light drizzle isnt going to take a train out of commission. I hope to come back, and I hope they are open when I do. I will say, there didnt look like there were many trains there. I was expecting an indoor small-arena type place with you know... maybe 50 trains or so. But I guess this is California. Not much enthusiasm for rail history here.

New Train Museum is open at the Fullerton Transportation Center on (East side of depot). Cafe prices are orange juice for $0.30 and a sandwich for $0.70 what a deal. Desert will set you back $0.15.Who is responsible for this gift to the community? Harold Benash, president of the Southern California Railway Plaza Association, may have a serious condition called train on the brain.Tours are FREE and hosted by the Southern California Railway Plaza Association (SCRPA). One of the most memorable cars is the 1929 Red Caboose which the Santa Fe line called Way Cars.

We love the Fullerton train museum they have that every couple years.

Too small for a museum but good that they are conserving the American train history.

Very friendly guided tour. Slow paced with any and all questions answered. The tour is free with a suggested donation of 1 dollar per person .
