Really like taking in a special movie here. It sets the mood of the perfect environment of the movie you have been anticipated.Wait staff is friendly and professional. Food is hot and drinks are good here.Highly recommend here for a date night.

We paid a second visit today. Its real nice. I had a chicken caesar salad. It was good. I also had a double Glenlivet scotch. The price was excellent. It didnt burn going down. Why not? Mine at home does. Well go back.

Was so impressed by the stellar customer service and the place was sparkly clean! The food was great but my order was incorrect as they forgot the chicken in my nachos. They discounted the order and didnt hesitate to help! Great movie theatre so just be sure to go over your order.

I rented an entire theatre for a surprise party, and I can not say enough great things! Rebecca helped me with the details and made it so easy, and our server was beyond amazing! If you’re thinking about renting, this is the place to do it! You will not be disappointed! Greats seats great food and great service! And you have the option to take any movie you’d like to watch on the big screen. Such a huge plus.

Love this place! Our server Tracy was the sweetest to my little girl. Food is yummy and tickets are less expensive here than anywhere else. Plus, awesome food and booze. Who can beat this? New to the area? Come visit Star Cinema

Great time to see movies. There were only 10-12 of us in the theater at Star Cinema in Webster. Pretty good time. Please wear your mask between here, (the ticket booth) to the theater, then you can remove it. Ok, if it makes someone feel good about it.

The screen quality leaves a lot to be desired, but the updated heated recliners make up for it. Service is hit or miss. Popcorn is easily the best theater popcorn I have ever had, bar none.The digital screens outside the auditoriums are very nice and bright, which Im personally a fan of. Much better than the small dotted LED signs at other theaters, lol.

Come here Alot! Was 1 of the ONLY movie theater open throughout the pandemic intially!! We LOVE the movies and thanks to this place never had to stop! Good food! Good drinks! Gr8 CUSTOMER SERVICE! GR8 BARTENDERS! Nice bar! Sit & chill.

We were in theatre 4; The seating was nice and the server we had was polite and attentive. - However, we heard music from another theatre/room the entire duration of the movie and the walls shook from the bass as well. It was very distracting, and we probably won’t be returning for that reason.

Yooooo, the seats are super comfortable and the food is amazing. First time there and definitely wont be my last. And smack dab in the middle of the mall? Will need a walk after the good amount of food they serve.

As of now you can bring in approved movies and rent a theater out. Neat experience for movies you never got to see in theaters. Staff did well with safety precautions.

Was hoping to have a relaxing night out and instead saw another customer have to explain repeatedly to an employee that he couldn’t wear a mask because of a medical condition only to have the employee call the police on the customer. The poor guy and his wife got escorted out to their car.

It was a great experience. Drove across town to see a throwback movie. Totally worth it. Food was excellent, lobby and movie house were clean. Theres walls between pairs of seats so at least we get to watch something during the pandemic. Ill go back again next movie night.

First time there since they moved to Baybrook. Very impressed. Excellent service. Fast, friendly, and the food was very good and plentiful. Im on a very strict diet so I had a few modifications to my order and they got it right. Comfortable chairs as well. Perfect experience.

Dispite the lack of good movies these days this place is fun.

I just watched a video of how a customer with a disability was treated so poorly by the staff that the staff even called the cops on them. How terrible that you treat people this way, especially persons with disabilities!

Ready for real movies to return. Food is not bad, I’ll give it an A+

I made the mistake of walking in to go see a show which was scheduled to begin 10 minutes later. They would not sell me a ticket. I was told by staff that the only way to purchase a ticket due to social distancing would be to download their app, register, and then purchase a ticket through the app. There were three employees standing right there. I could not use a self serve kiosk, and they were all unwilling to sell me a ticket...at the box office. Unimpressed. I won’t go back. Good luck. This model is doomed to imminent failure.

I usually dont come here often.. but when I do, I am never disappointed! On 02/29/20 saw The Invisible Man with the all new privacy pods with the heated recliners, and we were so impressed with everything! Its a bit pricey for me... but its nice to come here and experience it every once in a while! Food choices is excellent, and really really good sound in the theaters, too!! We will be back!!

Delicious food, great service, clean facility, nicely decorated, and convenient location. We ordered the gluten free pizza and it was AMAZING! Highly recommend! I hope the guests and kids dont ruin this wonderful theater - there was a lot of unnecessary trash left behind by them. Once there is another movie worth seeing in theaters, well be back!!!

This was my first time out visiting star grill after covid 19. The staff was friendly very fast with the orders as well. I really enjoyed the theater and the VIP seats.

Went to see my rival Sonic and his movie was quite good. That being said, we selected the VIP seats which are walled off from other people so its much more private. Great for introverts! The service was speedy and the staff was completely organized despite a full theater full of kiddos :). I had a burger and my wife had wings and it was darn good! Even came with a side of some of the most delicious battered fries Ive ever had, let alone at a cinema! Man....just wow. This place was a real winner. Loved the power recliner seats and the VIP seating (around 20 bucks a pop after tax) comes with blankets which really put the creamy foam on top of my root beer! One of the best theater chains across the country. I hope its here to stay.

We attend almost every Friday night, this particular night the service was horrible. They brought our food no problem we had to ask for our drinks 3 different times and finally complaining to the manager, he brought them..... this was a Dr Pepper and water for heavens sake!!!!!!

I have loved everything about this theater since they opened and even more with all the upgrades they did. We frequent this theater often. The food is good, recliners are comfortable with seat warmers, everything is always super clean. I also need to add that Michael and Faith are amazing managers. Thanks for all of the hospitality !

New recliner seats and service! Thumbs up Have always preferred this theater to others near me because their surround sound is clear, their service is great, and its just a great experience overall. But this upgrade to recliner seats, with butt warmers, and now the server directly types in your order is just super nice. No need for wasted paper anymore. Good job!

I adore Star Cinema Grill, especially as all the renovations are coming to completion. The staff is always wonderful. We had Danielle as our server and she was helpful and kind the whole time. We went to see Last Christmas (enjoyable movie) and sat in the new premium booths. It was very nice and cozy. Worth every penny.

Food was over priced for the quality. Popcorn was not fresh. Sound quality could have been better. The manger was really nice and gave us couple passes for our bad experience. We might give it another try but definitely not getting food till quality and prices get better.

We sat in the secluded seats. They were very comfortable. The staff were great and responded quickly. I had a burger with chips and salsa. Everything was very good.

My first time here. The set up was nice with table in front of you and slots in the table with the restaurant menu to order while you are watching a movie. The table has a push button and someone comes and takes your order for whatever you like. Its like dinner and a movie concept. The seats are comfortable and recline and equipped with seat warmers.

Ive been here only 5 times and it has been the best experience waiters are great with you by far the food has been good never let me down all 5 times no bad service appetizers and entrees all my food would arrive on time no matter what all all ways keep coming back

This place is amazing! My fiancé and I went here for the first time on our anniversary and we loved it! The seats are really big and cozy and recline and even have built-in heaters! They told us there are even nicer theaters per movie where you get bigger chairs with a wall around you guys for privacy, but we didnt try it, maybe next time! There is a table that you can adjust and move so you dont have to balance the popcorn on your lap and you can order real food too! We really loved the whole experience and would really recommend!

Paid $50 for frozen food at dollar general. Chairs were broken and wouldnt recline. Probably the worst theater Ive ever been to!

This was my first time at Star Cinema Grill. The lobby is very inviting. The staff is attentive and great about not interrupting your movie experience. The seats are nice cushy recliners. A solid 4 star.

As a place to visit, it is always a nice place to go for a date night or family night. However, you can’t bring in your little niece, nephew, or cousins without their parents (even if it’s a superhero movie.) I worked here for a while as well and it was the most stressful place I’ve ever been at. Kudos to y’all who still work there and keeping it together. Food choice is great, but not as good District Theaters and I think they got bought out by the same people. Nice seats, but they don’t recline far enough. Far better place than AMC though.

I had never been to this theater. I didnt know there was a button to press for service since the app said Press here for service.

The chairs are very comfortable, and they recline. The food was tasty with a great selection. I feel the pricing is also good. Their service wasnt perfect (forgot a water ordered several times and never delivered a meal I ordered, but they removed it from the bill without a hassle). It was opening weekend of Frozen 2, though, so they were very busy.

The remodel is great with reclining and heated seats. Very nice. Food is ok with big portions. It was nice that the sodas now come with free refills as well. My husband and I enjoyed our visit.

Phenomenal...Its been awhile since weve been here..(date night) We loved it, very clean, orderly and staff on point.. Food was excellent, look at that spinach dip how LOADED it is.. Unlike most restaurants will sauce it an stretch it to profit.. All the food was delicious.. Highly recommended

Staff is friendly despite having a waiter drop a whole glass of tea on me and being cold the whole movie.. Movie was worthless but bathrooms and the bar were amazing looking.. Love how the theater is set up as well.

Theater is fine and remodeled. But why in gods name are there lights in the expensive PODs that don’t turn off? I paid 40$ and had a light shine in my face for the entire film. Ridiculous design. Either remove the lights or make them able to be turned COMPLETELY off

They didn’t want to give me my student discount even though I showed a student ID online. Very rude staff (ticket staff). I will say it is very clean, so maintenance is doing a fantastic job. Don’t expect good service here.

I got sick Christmas day on my way to the movie. We thought we were going to lose out on our tickets, because we had to turn around and go home. We called and explain what happened. They were very understanding of my situation and held my tickets for a later date. Very clean and very nice staff.

The people that come to this theater like to shine their phones at others while the movie is going and text too. Not so much the theaters fault so I wont take off for that. The food is pretty good here and it seems fresh. We usually get the meat pizza and popcorn and the pizza is a good size to share. Definitely worth giving the theater a try.

Rude employee who was probably the manager. We did not understand why we would have to pay for two seats, one that was not being used ( premium pod). We left and are enjoying an AMC movie theater. Great experience with employees and atmosphere.

This is our go-to movie theater. And now they have added pods! They are really upping the game and in a trendy part of the Baybrook Mall. I highly recommend it!!

Wasted my time ! Went to see a movie, the employee says must purchase ticket thru app ! Wanted pay cash or CC! They don’t offer WiFi! App took to long to download so we left ! Never ever going back !!

Nice theater! Reclining and heated seats. I do have to share that handicap parking is quite a distance from the entrance. There is no parking or even drop off location close to the entrance. Food was decent but mine arrived cold after my friends were almost finished eating. I thought they forgot mine. We ordered at the same time! I ordered the fantastic four appetizer. They ordered pizza and pulled pork sliders with fries. Confused!!! ALL in all, Staff handled it. Offered to remake it but I had them remove it from my tab. Ill chalk it up as a mistake and try again next time. The pizza was good and so was the pulked pork. Movie audio was was perfect.

This was the second time my friends and I visited this location. The first time we visited the service was horrible: cold food, slow waiter, rude demeanor and had to make requests multiple times. When we went to close out I asked for a manager because I wanted to relay the frustrations. The manager we spoke with was Megan. She was very nice and refunded part of the costs for food and asked to make it up to us by providing us with movie ticket vouchers to return.The second time we came was recently Sunday, 12/29. We went to a late show at 10:50 p.m. There was a woman counting down money in the box area with a very unwelcoming attitude. Im not sure if she was a manager or team lead, but she definitely did not look like she enjoyed what she was doing.Everything started off well for the most part. About 20 minutes into the movie our waiter, Kyle, let us know the kitchen/bar was closing in 15 minutes and asked if there was anything additional he could get for us. We had just received our food. My friend asked for another pitcher of beer, and we were told we needed to finish the one we had - it was a little less than half full. We downed that pitcher for the next and upon arriving we were greeted with our tab. We waited to pay out until the movie was over. During this time, Kyle came around 4 times touching our tab saying still working on it? I understand that we were at the last showing and people are trying to get out of their shift, but I thought this was completely rude and definitely killed the climax of the movie for me.As we were walking out Kyle apologized as he didnt mean to rush us. Kyle mentioned that the manager, Michael, was hounding the waiters to close out so he could wrap up for the night. In total, we spent about $135 here and that will be the last time we spend any money at this establishment. I suggest stopping showings at 9:00 p.m. the latest and close kitchen/bar at 10:30 p.m. if other people are facing these same issues OR just go out to dinner before the movie. I think the combined hospitality just isnt quite a fit.I definitely would not recommend this theatre to a friend or anyone else who might question a visit here.

My favorite movie theater for sure. I’ve been there many times and I have yet to be disappointed. The atmosphere is very relaxed and helps for an enjoyable movie experience. I recently went there to see “Aladdin” and as always I was met with great service and food that was exquisite. One employee, Elizabeth I believe her name was (short, long brown hair, endearing smile), was working the tickets and running food and she was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely see movies there in the future.

Have been going for a bout 2 years now and have finally had enough experience to write a review. The movies are always fantastic. Great sound and picture. The service is the only thing that will hold them back from being great. Drinks come out at different times, food comes out at different times, its almost as if there is such a lack of organization behind the scenes of getting all the drinks out at one time. I hate when my order of food comes out 15 minutes after my friend who ordered a salad....just make the salad when the entree is ready. And when my friend orders a water and I get a beer and the beer takes 10 minutes longer to get to the table....just get the water when the beer is ready. Fix these inconsistencies and this place will be fantastic

The atmosphere is very cozy and of the plus side is that you can order food whilethe drawback with having something so nice and comfortable seating is that the price of course its going to be very high that includes the price of admission and the price of the food overall the service is goodthe environment is comfortable and relaxing and I would definitely go again

Food and drinks good. Felt like all of the wait staff was new. It took a few tries to get some things right but then was good.

Before the renovations it was a nice theatre, decent food. Affordable. After renovations the look has improved and seating enhancements but then came the price hikes. And it wasn’t even a little bit... so while the improvements came through... I’m guessing Harvey funding maybe since it flooded?But anyhow, the high ticket prices are discouraging. Please consider lowering them or having the $5 movie nights- we live in League City not New York City.

Bone in wings, fried pickles & south west egg roles were delicious! Our server Danielle was such a joy! Shes excellent at her job Hopefully management knows what a jewel they have.

We love this theater, food and drink brought to you so no standing in line. You can pick your seats so you do not have to worry about getting there and finding good seats. Also, now they have heated recliners! The only complaint I have is the timing of the food. We order an appetizer to share and usually an entree to share. This time they both came out almost together...we had all of our food before the previews were over! Space out the orders please.
