Great skatepark, only negatives are because of covid . You either have to go early before 8 am or after 7 pm when its dark . Also homeless in the morning, but thats central California for you.

Nice park within walking distance. Baseball diamonds, big open fields, tennis courts, skate park, picnic area with barbecues, bathrooms and concession stand. Pet friendly.

Close to home, open and lots of activities during the spring and summer. Park lights go out about 10 or so. Couple parking lots as well as neighborhood parking and along the street by Emerson. Wouldnt reccomend the bathrooms though. Theres a play area and some tables and fire pits I believe, tennis court, skate park. Grass is green usually and when it is, its very long usually. Otherwise, decent park.

Good skate park, steeper ramps than some other parks, not best for beginners to vert, but theres a little bit of something for everyone here

Love this park. Its within walking distance. The kids love the play area. The only problem I saw was locked gates to the skate area. Kids jumping the fence just to use the place. Please make it more accessible for the kids.

Love this park, fun setup for the kids and older guys like myself. Can get a little rough at night with locals but just part of the Fresno skate scene. Usually nobody dangerous. I wonder if being under these powerlines has any affect though...

This place is awesome the only thing that sucks is theyre closed until 4 p.m. and thats when they open up but other than that its an awesome place

Its a good size park with friendly people. They also offer free snacks to the kids.

I really enjoy riding here. I just dont like the helmet rule. It is still a great place nonetheless.

It needs some love. The skate park is pretty legit. Just the play structure is broken. So one of the slides isnt in use. Other then that should get the job done.

I was playing frisbee w/ a friend & the kids got out of school and came over & started throwing my frisbees & even asked to keep 1. Little brats didnt even ask if it was okay to throw them

We are from out of town and thought this place would be a good place to stop for lunch on our travels. As stopping at a restaurant with my 3 small kids is a bad idea. But we should have passed on this park. The play ground was partially condemned; the only slide was blocked off by plywood and poorly maintained. The tables were the plastic coated metal ones with the plastic cut and burned away and really disgusting. The bathroom stall had no doors and you didnt want to touch anything, specially the floors. Thank goodness I wasnt wearing sandles. I tried to wash my hands before leaving but the only thing I could use was water. Even though there was a soap and towel dispenser. And the worst part of it all was the strong, bad vibe from the other people there. I thought we were going to be robbed. (Someone was eyeing our lunch bag too)So, if youre doing a drug deal, this might be a great place. If youre trying to go someplace with a 4 year old and 2 year old twins for lunch, pass!Sorry no pictures, tried to leave as fast as possible.

The parking on all sides of the park is convenient. The play structure is just the right size and has a cover. The kids can still play and keep dry in light rain or sun. Bring hot wheel type cars, there is a cool little cement race track. The skate park is cool too. The bathrooms arent usually the cleanest and the water faucets could be cleaner. Great park for baseball!

The park is well lit but they have had a few recent shootings in the area. Have a lot of kids playing out there, can use more police presence.

Could use some cleaning up in a little police presence people were getting drunk in the parking lot.

Be aware of the crappy baseball league. Deserves zero stars. They say theyre in it for the kids but all the families theyve screwed over would disagree. Was promised full refund and when time came was told they were to busy to do that, where did my money go? In their pockets? I have text messages to prove the promised refund. The people who run it love the drama. Only hope is some of the good coaches take over the league from the tired president and his wife.

Went to sit under the shade when I get approached by a teen whom asks if I wanted to buy drugs.

So unprofessional.(Anthony the alleged untouchable president, and his wife Stephanie) are so beyond disrespectful. Refused to give a refund to my son despite the fact that they agreed to it on the leagues behalf. I am a full time working mom and only enrolled my son because of a family coach which would be able to transport him to and from practice and games.( I have message screen shots supporting my story from the league and from the wife to other players) Yelling and arguing are their strongest suits.... save your self time and money. Don’t register your kids here. They promise refunds but don’t follow through. I expect an audit due to the number of families who have already complained... I have statements in writing. He said there was nobody else above him to contact, that they were it and there was nothing I could do. I filed a police report showing the messages agreeing to the refund but refused to give us one. I won’t stop until they do what is right and refund money to a boy who isn’t on their league due to the unprofessional conduct.. even the if it means small claims court for the purpose of not allowing them to bully and discriminate against those with disabilities. Im sure this post will conclude with them trying to argue or get out of it, as always they are never in the wrong. I will continue to fight and show the truth of this so called “president”. I hope the city or PD, which I’ve filed complaints with, will respond and take action against them.

Its ok for a quick walk n about a hour to let the kids playBut keep your eyes on them theres a bunch of homeless roaming around there with dogs without any leashesPlus I think they use the bathroom to use..dont letem go on their own

I love Lions Park.I grew up on Emerson&Lorna.So i used to go 2 Lions Park Daily as a child,now im almost 60 yrs old.

As long as you go at the right time this place is gold.

They have they best shaved ice set up there, great for the hot days when your kids have a game! Or even my favorite pit stop after work!

Park is decent with one of the better skate parks in town avoid the Little League baseball organization in this park though its poorly ran.

This park is ok if you just want a quick stop not somewhere to stay for hours of family time . Lots of trash everywhere and teens at skate park smoking weed, cigarettes, etc...

The skate park itself is nice. The rest of the park is barely maintained. Grass is either flooded or dead. The bathrooms are digusing and violent homeless live there at night so you want to be gone long before dark most days.
