This a great theatre that is completely volunteer so the people who play these roles arent greedy they just seek to do good. The shows Ive seen are pretty good quality (especially since it is crowd funded). I recommend at least watching one show here
All volunteer organization with very talented actors. Very intimate setting
Ive been there twice so far--great shows, and a high standard of performance. Free treats at intermission. One of the oldest community theatres in America, maybe the oldest...its been going for over 100 years!
This is a great small theater that is over 100 years old. We have seen many great plays here, all with local talent. I would highly recommend catching the next show...
Our first time attending this theatre. We are recently new to the local theater / playhouse shows. We had fun; saw our first dark drama I guess youd call it. A cast of only 5 did an amazing job.Not a huge theatre, but big enough.Light snacks and beverages available at intermission, including beer from local brewery.
The show was great: funny, spooky, dramatic. Everyone on stage was wonderful to watch. Mario even kept character during blackouts with his characters limp. Marvelous! The only negative to the afternoon was the theater itself; the seats are horrible! Tight and so small that when you want to relax on the armrest, you end up in your neighbors lap. Plus, they dont have anything but street parking avaiable. Not fun for seniors. But again, the show was great and cant wait for the next one, which is a comedy.
Great place, always a good show. The volunteers are all appreciated for the parts they play. We enjoy the holiday presentation each year. Must go! Wont disappoint.
Excellent performance by all actors.
The play was great! The kids were wonderful!
My group really enjoyed it. Mostly relatives of Zachary (Prof. Plum) but really, it was funny, no swearing, clean and up beat. The whole cast was on that Friday. A group from our congregation is coming Sat. So were looking forward to it.
Local kids play excellent
Just went to Of Mice and Men. We went last Saturday night & it was so good we went again tonight. What talent!! The whole cast was amazing. Bravo!!
Saw She Kills Monsters. Wonderful play, great actors. Beautiful interior. Wonderful hidden gem.
I enjoy every time I see a play there..
Amazing shows!
I Love this little jewel of Freeport. Such a talented and dedicated team. Never disappointed. Bravo!
The plays are so much fun to watch...! They are interactive and always do something new with classic plays.
Older theater that is small, about 200 seats, but does good job of acting for an all volunteer theater.
Great place to enjoy a play and local talent excellent job
Very nice small theater completely operated from donations and volunteers. Surprisingly good talent for a small town!
