All around a disappointing experience. We walked in and no one was at the counter so I rang the bell because I wasnt sure if I needed to pay first; a woman came down and was quite rude and then ran back upstairs without giving us any information. The place is very small with very few exhibits. When we were finished me and another family stood at the front counter for over 10 minutes waiting to pay. We rang their bell, no one came down. You could hear the lady upstairs talking on the phone. The other lady waiting was standing at the stairs yelling for someone to come down. It took 15 minutes for someone to come down and help us. We all easily could have just walked out without paying the admission fee while taking gift shop merchandise with us. Lucky for them, neither my family or the other family are those types of people. I was just very, very disappointed with the whole experience.

This place is lame. I understand that the place displays bugs, but that is not the reason keep the place dirty. The gold fish tank was dirty it was hard to see the fish and the frogs were dead. Do not recommend it.

Bugbox is the perfect place to take your kids to learn about insects and more. Bugbox is also great for hobbyists of insects and reptiles!
