Limited parking in their grass (can get muddy) lot, couldn’t bring in chairs so had to stand in a very crowded venue. Beer was impossible to get because they had one employee at each of just a few booths, booth lines were very long and directly between the main area and the port-a-potties causing tempers to rise as people tried to get around. Beer was $11.Biggest issue is that the port-a-potties were the most disgusting I’ve ever seen - at the BEGINNING of the show. Horribly filthy and obviously not cleaned or emptied before the Friday night show.I’m sure the artists like it because it allows for larger shows, but I won’t ever go back!
Parking was sold out 10 minutes after the gates opened. The recommendation was to go back and park on Main Street in Fredericksburg and take an Uber. Beer was $12. I wouldn’t go back even if Jesus showed up.
The venue is a decent size however it is lacking places to get drinks. There was only one main bar and one trough to get beer which caused the lines to be to long. The vip seats are way to far away from the stage and there is no benefit to being there. You can bring in camp chairs and be 10 feet from the stage or pay more for vip and been in the back of the venue. Pretty backwards if ya ask me. Also the biggest downside to this place is the $12.00 charge for regular 16 oz beers. They have have some decent people playing but till they drop the prices for drinks food and parking, I will definitely not be back! There was a group of us that went to Stoney LaRue and Wade Bowen and all compiled reviews on their Facebook Page today. They have since removed the review section from their page. I say this not to be mean but to tell you what kind of place it must be due to not listening to the reviews and just deleting it. We weren’t rude and said nothing that wasn’t true!! I have even taken to writing to the individuals who are performing there to make sure they know what the venue is doing.
Big fun venue, once we found it.
