Michaels is our go to for all of our crafting needs! They always have excellent stock on all of their products

I got some supplies to help my homeschoolers with for his Bible curriculum. Found Everything I needed, was in and out. Love this place.

Waited in line a long time to check out...but still worth it.

Stopped in to grab a few supplies and found that many of the items I was looking for were on clearance. I think they were changing out the inventory because things were pretty disorganized. I asked an associate for help (Summer) who was clearly in the middle of another task. Without hesitation she stopped and helped for several minutes. When I went to checkout a lot of the items were ringing up at full price. This associate (Samantha) called for the other to cover the register so other customers could check out and then went to the isle with me. The items were on clearance and we finished checking out. Here’s my point. These two young ladies get customer service. With many options for supplies in town, this store clearly has a competitive advantage. Kudos to them and whoever is training associates at this store. Great Job!

Much like other Michaels stores, its difficult to find a staff member to help you, but the staff is very knowledgeable. Just about everything is extremely overpriced, unless you exclusively purchase 40+% off. Very fun to window shop and great for craft ideas.

They carry so much and do a great job, considering the age of the building that theyve got. The building is a bit small and old, but its clean and neat. The staff is wonderful; professional and attentive. Recently interacted with the regional manager, who stopped what she was doing to help me figure out a last minute craft project.

Poor inventory. Michaels products are stale, they dont even seem to try to get newer crafty things in in a timely way.

Michaels2020.03.17Todays visit had great sales. The store always packed with great DIY ideas. You can always count on finding beautiful fake greenery. I always visit there when I need new backgrounds for photography. They always have good props for winter, spring, summer or fall. It is a craft store after all. & The employees always, always ask me if I need help. They dont tell me where to go & assumeI know, they walk me over to what ever it is I need & point at the product &/or sometimes pick it up for me.

Have ANYTHING you could possibly need for arts and crafts,and more!

Movies are great theaters are great I think the individual recliners are a nice touch. That being said the only reason they did not receive five stars is because of the cost. Three adults, a large popcorn, a small popcorn and three drinks. The better part of$100

Micheals is a great craft store. I love them. The app is nice to, good deals. They also dont make me pay more than I should like at other places. I wanted some clay it was $5 elsewhere and only $3 here I think.

Was busy but checkout moved quickly. Found yarn i was looking for and used a competitors coupon and one of theirs. Yarn aisles need attention. Were alittle sloppy. Store is hard to get to from traffic circle. Be careful especially on the weekend.

The store has what I always need and the prices are reasonable. They always give and use coupons. Sale prices are great.

They have a good variety of things but I did have a bit of trouble finding a good set of oil paints. I did eventually settle on some and they work quite well, just a bit expensive though. Friendly staff and overall clean store.

I enjoy walking in the door and smelling all the wonderful scents! It always smells like fall. The store is neat and clean, and the staff is friendly. Checkout was fast and efficient. The bathroom needs an update, but other than that its a great place to buy all your arts and crafts needs. They also have a variety of home decor.

I have to give a shout out to Danielle for outstanding customer service! I called on a Friday evening trying to locate some storage bins for Spotsylvania teachers. Although the store didn’t have the amount we wanted, she called another store and personally picked them up so they would all be ready when we arrived the next day. This kind of customer service is rare! Thanks for going above and beyond, Danielle!

Came here with my kids for some art supplies. This location has a better journaling section than other stores Ive seen. Lots of notebooks, pens, markers, and other supplies. Prices were good on the store brand (Artist Loft), but some of the name brands were pricey. A 10 pack of Pilot pens for $20 is twice the price of other stores. The staff was helpful and friendly. Getting to this location is a little scary, given its proximity to the traffic circle at the Spotsylvania Town center... But its worth the risk.

Just OK....We enjoy the store and got a custom picture frame done - very expensive but good work.3-Star Rationale: We shop here but this year the selection and quality of their products does not seem to be up to the usual standard.

I love Michaels. This store reminds me of Hobby Lobby for its huge variety of different items. They have framing, flowers, crafts galore. Window shopping is fun here.

Walked in to pick up an item I needed on Nov 20th at 8pm and there were four young girls behind the checkout counter. I asked if they could help me and one looked up from her phone and said, she works here. The one that worked there looked up from her phone and told me she didnt know where the item I needed was and to look around. I left and purchased the item online from another business. Get your employees off their phones, get their friends out from behind your checkout counters and help your customers. This is why people shop online, zero customer service.

Have always had excellent customer service at this location. Love the prices and variety of product they carry.

Quick and easy shopping. There are plenty of locations scattered in the area. Coupons are generally available online to offset their higher than normal prices, but may only be applied to a single item. They do run frequent sales that can range to premium items. They are a go to for quick mid to higher end art materials that you need immediately. The service is always strong and expedient.

Very good for any 46 year old mom as well as those extremely funny and depressed high-school art kids :)

Michaels was good we found what i was for the only place that had small metal tools for the xmas tree for my brothers grave.

I love the framing department aka Aarons Art Mart elsewhere in the country. It is the biggest choice & beats any other store.

A nice arts and craft store, I’ve been coming here since I was young and love every minute of it. There is almost always a sale so it’s best to check in online first for coupons before going. Some art supplies can be quite expensive but the frequency of sales tends to make up for it. My only complaint is that it’s located in a very busy area so it can be kind of hard to get to given its right next to the mall.

Witnessed a very frustrating event while waiting in line to pay. Monica, a store manager I think, was extremely rude and disrespectful to a trainee. The woman trainee asked for assistance and was publicly “dressed down” for doing so. I could tell she was very embarrassed. Instead of empowering her employee she berated her. I would never work for a corporation that tolerated such behavior in their management staff. Wonder if she treats all employees this way? Monica in Spotsyvania store is a disgrace to the company. Shame on her.

I shop Michaels all the time was in Virginia over the weekend.Made quick trip to michaels in Fredericksburg. In check out which was fast and easy Jennifer made my day with a sweet personality,friendly suggestions that helped put the finishing touches to my project

Walked around the store looking for a small zipper to take to the alterations man at the mall. Passed several employees that didnt bother to greet me OR ask if I needed help. I eventually asked for help finding what I needed and the worker couldnt tell me where anything was. Michaels- train your younger employees better to know where products are and train them to greet and ask people if they need help.

The mark of a good craft store is if it makes you excited for your next project. Michaels did that. I went in to get the price for something and ended up forgetting why I had come in in the first place. I must have gotten three project ideas from just walking around in there. I really liked the blendable marker aisle. One of the Brands has a display where you can try the markers out on paper. If there had been room I would have written a small tutorial on how to blend colors. Honestly though I think the best part about this store is the fact that it is right next to a store where you can buy pieces of Art. Walking through both of those stores together makes for a wonderful time killer. Who needs the mall anyway. I dont know how the prices compare to other craft stores ( being that I forgot why I was there) however the buying experience would make me want to see what this store has to offer first.

They sell everything! Lots of varieties of Christmas ornaments and decorations; if you cant find it at Michaels, its because it doesnt exist.

The last time I went to Michaels near my house the place look like a dump there was no customer service and I can do better on the prices I cant believe they bought a AC Moore.s which was a much better story than Michaels.

And tho it was closing time, I was helped by a associate to locate the product, which was far away from where I was looking.But u feel I cant give a 5 since I didnt have a chance to check out the whole store.

This is a great Michaels customer service wise. How ever it leaves a lot to be desired as far as store organization is concerned. The checkout line is often very slow. I suspect part of this is because they have a tendency to leave up signs for sales past. They do however tend to honor the price, for example I bought some things recently that were suposed to be 60% off, according to the 4 or 5 signs on and around the display, however that sale had ended several days before. I was going to wait on buying most of the Items due to them being full price but they chose to honor the sale. Overall I would recommend but the hobby lobby is easier to navigate in a wheelchair.

Has a numerous amount of supplies for different hobbie, but definitely has space for more.

Super difficult to find anything in this store, with employees very hit or miss when it comes to providing guidance to item locations. On the other hand they have just about everything you could want in regard to crafting. Dont go without downloading a 40% or more coupon... Theyve let me use it on all of my items more than once, and I wouldnt buy anything there without the money off as it can usually be had cheaper elsewhere save for coupon usage.

Awful. Thats how you answer everything about Michaels. The place is a mess, no one around to help find items, and the checkout counter couldnt be slower if they wanted to. Cant even describe the frustration of waiting in line for 45 minutes behind one person with four items. And then the itemvwouldnt ring up and when he called for help, three people came....like they couldnt come run a register when theres a line? One went to get an item number then they all left, 8 people in line. Horrible. Awful. Will go to Hobby Lobby or take my chances at Home Goods next time.

Great sales

This store is very clean. However Ive been in there 3 times over the past 3 weeks and they still have the same trash can in the baking aisle collecting water because the ceiling is leaking. This is very unfortunate for me because I am a very Avid Baker and trying to get the supplies that I need is rather difficult while trying to maneuver around a trash can full of water. I still love the store and I love the deals that we find its just what I go in for is very difficult to get to.

Order was not ready after 7 hours, cashier went to pull order, items were not in stock.
