Caitlin explained things so well I was able to jump right in to blacksmithing. She was clear in her instructions. She always made sure you understood exactly what you needed to do next. She stressed safety and made sure you understood what to do in the event of any accident. She was very friendly and nice to talk to.

I am hooked. I had an absolute great time at Ms Caitlins School of Blacksmithing. Ms. Caitlin is an excellent instructor and she makes her session fun, safe, and empowering. She is very positive and patient. You leave with an appreciation for her craft, a new skill, and a tangible result you cold be proud of.

Highly recommend for anyone interested to learn the craft or just looking for a fun experience one weekend! Ms. Caitlyn does a great job teaching and encouraging you through the process. The projects you do for each visit are well thought out and make a ton of sense in learning cool techniques/tricks. You will walk away proud of what you made.

My first experience with Caitlin was great! Shes extremely friendly and very welcoming. She was great at explaining each technique and had multiple methods to practice. It was amazing watching her move metal so easily. I would recommend her classes to anything wanted to give blacksmithing a try. I enjoyed my experience so much that I have already signed up for two more additional classes!

Ms Caitlin was an excellent teacher, this was my first time working with hot metal and she made it very easy. I will definitely be going back for more classes.

I met Caitlin at the John C Campbell Folk School and she offered a weekend class for all levels. She is an excellent instructor. I knew almost nothing. Her demonstrations were informative and lively. I was working on my own by mid morning and had my first piece completed before lunch. We all had such a great time!
