My new favorite course. Nice gentle rolling hills on quite a few holes. Fantastic conditions, and a friendly staff. There are better courses, but I cant think of any better for such a reasonable price.

The course was beautiful and in great shape. The greens had been vertical thatched and were very firm. This was my first time playing here and Im sure I will play better when I get more familiar with the course. It is a great bargain if you are a senior and play during the week.

Well worth any drive you have to make. The greens always roll true and the fairways are green year round. Tee boxes are great as well. One of the toughest first 5 holes youll ever play. Always a pleasure to play, especially the peninsula green on 18!

Enjoyed my recent round more by playing from the senior tees (5400+ yds., 68 years old): allowed me to have a realistic chance to reach more greens in regulation. It is a strategic course where you have to think about where you want to miss it to avoid disaster. The greens were in GREAT shape. There is quite a bit of elevation change on many of the greens, so there are some challenging putts and I was above the hole too many times.Staff are very friendly and the price is right. Bring plenty of balls though: there are woods and water aplenty for the wayward golfer. Not a course for the golfer with a two-way miss. I lost 4 balls on the 18th alone, partly because of “going Tin Cup” trying repeatly to clear the pond and reach the devilish “island” green there.Course was uncrowded on a weekday morning, but I did run into one slow player on the third green (see photo!).

The staff did an excellent job disinfecting every inch and nook and cranny of carts being returned. Watched for 5 to 10 minutes. Ive golfed here four or five times in the past. The course was absolutely gorgeous. Not a weed in a fairway, mowed so you could find your ball and the greens were good. A challenging but fair course. Shot 18 with my own cart and it was less than 30 bucks. Great course, great value.

Beautiful course and well maintained. Fairways were perfect and greens are great size and roll pure. If they can sneak a driving range in somewhere, it would be the perfect course. Certainly plan to return to this hidden gem!

Played 9 holes, first time at the course. Some very tight tee shots and a couple hazards in the middle of the fairway just where most people would hit. I enjoyed it and course was maintained well. Would probably enjoy it more with more experience on certain holes.

Accommodating and friendly staff.For a public course, they keep it up pretty well! Greens are quite nice!Our group plays on multiple courses throughout the north central Indiana area.There are a variety of holes and several are very challenging. Theyve added tee boxes so you can play from whatever level you are comfortable.This course is one of our favorites and we play it several times each season.

The course is one of the best and most challenging layouts in the area. The owners and staff take great care of it with well manicured fairways and very challenging greens. In my opinion, the first five holes are the toughest start to anyones round with tree lined fairways and red hazards on each, plus OB on holes two, three and four. Although the course doesnt have any sand traps, the course makes up for them with plenty of tight fairways, trees, hills, a few blind approach shots and fast undulating greens. The well kept and clean clubhouse serves food, beverages, an assortment of domestic & craft beers and cocktails. Theres a large two level deck that can serve any size of outing. They also have several membership levels and season passes for juniors, teens, students, public service, seniors, single and single+spouse. I highly recommend you check out this course if you enjoy a fun challenging course with a family type of atmosphere.

Great course for a great price! Was pleasantly surprised with the elevation changes on many of the holes. Worth the trip up from Indy. Also, the pro did an excellent job setting up for social distancing.

Ken and his staff always do their best to make sure the course is in good shape and that everyone enjoys their round of golf. The course is challenging and fun to play. When I play I always choose Deer Track Golf Club.

Played many courses in central and northwest indiana. Wont find a better kept, more interesting course, with such friendly staff anywhere for the price. Think Ive found my home course!

Great scenic layout. Very good deals for the quality of the course. Greens and fairways are in terrific shape, that give you a different look on each hole. No driving range and very tilted practice green. Other than that, the staff is outstanding and the course wont disappoint. Definitely an underrated course in the area.

Great track. After the first four holes it opens up... doubled those and still shot 82 so I was happy for my first time out there. Well maintained - greens were in excellent shape. No bunkers, from what I can recall.Staff is super friendly!!!

I drove from 30 miles away to play here and wasn’t disappointed. Well maintained course with a great layout. I like some of the risk reward holes with deciding to use driver or not. Staff was nice, clubhouse was adequate. I will definitely play there again!

Super nice course for the area. A little on the expensive side in comparison to surrounding competitors, but its well maintained. Greens are challenging, but fair. Holes 9 and 18 are unique in the best way. Id return for another round on a cooler day. The morning due mixed with the heat had the gnats out in full force.

The course is always in great shape. The owners are the sweetest people youll ever meet! They genuinely care about what youre up to and how you are doing. Awesome to still see small family operations thriving!

Great course for the money. Its kind of hard to find cause its out in the middle of nowhere but thats probably the reason it is so affordable. If this course was in the heart of Indianapolis or Lafayette it would be double or triple the price of what it is. Greens are in great shape and the course has excellent drainage. Challenging front nine with narrow fairways and big mature trees. The back plays shorter but is still challenging and the 18th hole has an awesome island green.

Ive only played on this course once and that was a few weeks ago. The staff was friendly and courteous. The layout was great. I will definitely be back this summer.

A fantastic course for the price. Everyone from the staff to the players were friendly and having a good time. The greens fees were reasonable and is one of my favorite courses around. The back nine has spectacular views and the island green on the 18th hole is a treat not seen much at golf courses, especially at this price.

Just a fun golf course. A great mix of wide and narrow shots, different shot shapes, and looks into greens. The greens themselves are absolutely fantastic -- big, fairly quick, lots of slopes -- made putting a challenge but a lot of fun. The island green 18th is the perfect cap to a great round, really a very scenic course as well as fun to play. I also really like that its not just a course for people who bomb the ball off the tee, shorter hitters can play here as well, and ample tee boxes are available for all skill levels. The staff is great, super friendly, and the price cant be beat. Ill be back.

Best value for the dollar of any golf course in Central Indiana. I find it difficult to pay higher prices for a round of golf at any other course. Deer Track has it all! Challenging layout for any level of golfer, professional & friendly staff, and prices that keep me coming back. You too will have a wonderful experience at Deer Track Golf Club! No disappointments here.
