Excellent, relatively unknown, place

Danforth Art School is a great place for kids and adults to take art classes. The staff are very professional. They create class environments that are safe and fun to learn in!

Small, beautifully done art museum and school displaying local New England artists and the work of sculptor Meta Fuller

Although small, this museum has good exhibits that change frequently. The size makes it ideal to bring someone without much stamina or attention span. I saw an interesting exhibit on two African-American artists. A docent provided even more fascinating information. Despite being small, there were several exhibits - all very different from each other.

This place is small and has limited parking but we have a reciprocal membership from another place and this makes for a great short visit if in the area.Lovely exhibits, especially in the kids section and really nice staff. They also have fun kids events too.

Great, Unexpected gem. They had a juried local artists showcase up, which was amazing. Great American Art from all ages- Loved the Bierstadt.
