Ryan at the skate shop was able to hook up my vintage skates with new Bones wheels and bearings, new bushings and plugs. He put them together while I waited. The inventory was great to pick from and Ryan was so knowledgeable and professional. So happy I called.

Not Small neither large but great. Prices are 20$/person, sometimes offers available at third party websites. Skate rental 6$ and skate mate 5$. Lights and music all the time. There are lockers, bathrooms, snack bar and arcade. The staff are cool and friendly. I enjoyed.

Went for a schools skate night, and its the same exact thing as I remembered from when I had skate night in school from the 90s. What kind of magic keeps a place from modern upgrades. Every place should be like this. All kids should enjoy life as we knew it.

I havent skates in over thirty years, but immediately felt welcomed at Fountain Valley Skating Center. The staff and other skaters were just outstanding. I havent smiled this much in years. Highly recommend.

Take my Daughters here about once a month and they love it. Although it can get pretty crowded at times. Otherwise not bad at all. Prices are pretty decent for the 2 hour sessions

Cool little spot to have a quick roller skate session. They even have these Skate Mates that you can lean on ($5 rental) while you learn how to balance on roller skates. Fun times with the family!

Great family fun, although music is selected towards the youth. Would have been nice to see more genres. Staff was excellent including your very charismatic security, they were all great to chat with and very good at keeping the chaos controlled. 4 stars for the music, and not having the option to rent roller blades. Other than that great fun place to go with the family.

Had a groupon and came here for Family skate night. There was a line out the door and took us about 15-20 minutes to get inside. Groupon deal is really good - $38 for admission and rental for 4 people plus $10 in token. This rink is huge. Im assuming its regulation size rink. However, there were way too many people to skate comfortably. The rental skates were old and uncomfortable. (except kids skates smaller than size 13 looked barely worn) We skated less than 30 minutes because it was so crowded. They have an arcade area, but other than basketball, skeet ball and air hockey, most of the other games are ticket earning games that last 2 seconds. No video games. We waited at the ticket redemption counter for a long time because they were too busy and understaffed. The girls ahead of us said they waited 40 minutes altogether. Go on a weeknight when it might be less crowded.

Fun place. Took my nine year old with her aunt. She had a blast. Two hours of skating. There is a small snack bar, and arcade with tickets for prizes.There were parties going on as we had fun.Did not see any alcohol. Sorry parents.Prices were not that high if you come for fun, or for a full body workout.Have fun. We did.

What a great experience! Friendly, helpful staff... They have a tots skate hour that my 3 1/2 y/o granddaughter LOVED! Parent skates free. They have little walkers on wheels they use. Perfect!

I went to this place as a kid often and went back and an adult and enjoyed it! Fun music, fun activity. It was fairly crowded at 6-8:30 on a Saturday.

I live far away but my friend and I went there to skate. The employees were helpful and nice, plus the wood tile floors are much better for skating. The prices for everything was fair and there are lots of arcade games to play. It was fantastic, 5 stars.

I love how they make you feel as soon as you enter the door, I have been gone or more than 4 months and it feels like I have never left . Thursday night Skate Session makes for a great escape from a long week. I enjoy the skating rink and I go there often. highly recommended for any level of skating.

Theres always fun to be had at this roller skating rink. Its a very large roller skating rink but plenty of room for all the people who come to enjoy wait around and around in circles.There are two drawbacks to going skating rink though. 1, the line is very long meaning of the times we go and we lose a good half an hour to 45 minutes waiting in line to get in. Youre not compensated for this time you just get a shorter time skate. I for one dont think thats fair. 2, when you finally do get in, there is so many games, birthday parties and other events they have going that you have a limited time to actually skate. Since youre paying $9.50 to get in, I question whether the price is worth it. I was actually getting to skate for two and a half hours that would be a different situation. As it was I had about an hour once I got skates on and made it through the crowd to the skating rink.Will I be back? Yes theres not that many skating rinks open anymore. Do I think they need better control for how long it takes people to get in? Yes! They have two windows. Theres no reason why both of them cant be working when theres long lines.There was a lot more to do at fountain valley than just stated. Theres also a pretty nice little snacky restaurant and a game room. Their bathrooms are reasonably clean oh, and they got it a few more tables for those who would like a place to sit down.If youd read my review, please give me a thumbs up. Make sure to bring some quarters for the lockers, if you want to put things away while skating. If not there is an ATM and coin maker machine in the room to use. I had a great time skating. The music and atmosphere were awesome. If you are a beginner, theres walkers available to use also.

I hosted my daughters Birthday party here. Walking in we were greeted by a very nice hostess. The guest have their very own entrance. No waiting to get in. The music played was great. Super fun environment. This location is older looking but super clean. We had our very own waitress. Taylor was AMAZING. She was super friendly and professional. She was great with the number of kids she was serving. After our party was over we were aloud to stay extra amount of time with NO extra charge. The party package includes free skating lessons for 1 month. We also got a free tee-shirt for the b-day girl and free admission for all the guest. My husband also bought the b-day girl some skates here. Thanks for the wonderful memory guys! Looking forward to the many more memories.

When I came to this place, they had amazing service. My friend needed a skate mate, and one of their employees went right on it! The price for it was amazing. We also had a lot of fun. We loved all the songs, and also requested a few. One of the best moments of my life

Workers will help you up if you need assistance. Many lockers to place ur shoes. The skating games are pretty lame. Smells pretty decent for a place that is always awfully crowded. There are always teens who hold hands and make a barrier that is impossible to go through and you have to go all the way around them. There are white walkers to help you learn to skate but little kids always end up pushing you with them. Overall okay

Its really fun to skate with my family on Sunday. They want to keep skating! The food is so-so. The music is good. The kids who skate are courteous to the younger kids!

Went today ( Saturday around 1pm ) and had fun, but we left early because the music was explicit and not appropriate for children. Pu**y is not a word I need my children to repeat. If you care about what kind of music is exposed to your children, do not go to this rink. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the ref did a good job.

Its a very good place to go skating but I would not get food from there.

Terrible service at this skating rink. Brought my wife and 4 children 15 and under in for a night of fun. Worst idea for the night. No where was it posted about not standing (rink side). I was told you can’t stand here! ????? Brought it to the managers attention. She was not apologetic about the way the way her employee was. He then proceeded to tell me I can’t hear??? Which the whole time he was talking to me he wasn’t looking at me. I called him out on that and he said he has a lazy eye?? The manager has Zero 0 managerial skills. No problem solving skills, no people skills. Nothing. Doesn’t matter at this point but I was waiting for my 3 year old to get enough courage to follow me out on the rink. After being told I can’t stand next to the rail (waiting for my daughter). Long story short, the security guard appeared to be nice at first....then after requesting a refund because foul language was used on our behalf (frustration with stupidity at its finest) was denied, he then made us aware that he was conceal carrying??? Being from Las Vegas I can open or conceal carry. I was not doing either tonight. However why tell me that? Anyways, I spent a 13th birthday here 22 years ago. Had a great time and thought since we were vacationing in Huntington Beach the city I grew up in it would be fun to go relive some nostalgia. Never again.

It is great to see a skating rink still booming. It was everything youd expect. The night I went they closed their concession stand and couldnt sell anything as soon as the adults only skating started. That was 3 hours before they closed. Not cool.

A wonderful old-school roller rink. Lots of assorted adult sessions so you dont have trip over hordes of small children. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the owner is an inspiration. One of my favorite places to be.

Went to celebrate birthdays with a bunch of friends on adult night and had the best time. This place is alive- the skaters, the staff, and the music. I highly recommend getting out and skating.

Super sexist workers! I went on family night and they had time for only ladies to skate. Many older men skated and were seen by the refs but there was no penalty. When I went during the men’s time they kept bothering me. Also, I stopped at the wall to help a friend who fell and got scolded. However, there were plenty of men hanging by the wall. Also the music is repetitive. Would not recommend

Ive only been on Saturday nights. Its usually packed. Its a smaller roller rink so you really notice the crowds. Skate rentals are quads only. No outside food or drink. If it was a full sized rink (roller hockey) it might help with the crowd control.

The rink is really cool and I like the vibes. It is poorly aired out tho so its kinda hot and smells like sweat and people inside. The lockers only open once which I was not aware of so I couldnt lock it again without putting more coins in. Nonetheless, the enviornment was cool and it was cool too see everyone skate really well!
