What can I say that have not already been said? This place is the absolute Best if you like to see all things reptiles. What a gem in the heart of Orange County. The staff is terrific and friendly, and you can tell they all love being a part of something so great! Seeing alligators, pythons, anaconda, water monitors, lizards frogs, turtles, tortoise, and rattle snakes (it is awesome to see and hear the rattle snake when its rattling) and other creepy, crawlies all in one very unique location! You can feed the turtles or even hold a snake...eww!! =)10 Stars! Follow them on IG @jayprehistoricspets

Awesome place for reptile lovers! I think its a cheap fee for an amazing experience. The staff are incredibly friendly. This spot needs a second location near Los Angeles. I definitely will come back again and experience another live session. The best thing about the experience is the live demos of their reptiles, love holding snakes or bearded dragons? Wanna feed turtles and tortoises? Come to this spot you will LOVE IT!

I was very excited about my visit however it was a let down. The lady at the front desk was very rude to my family and I. Especially about our face mask, rudely reminding us to keep our mask over our nose. It was $15 per person and in my opinion it was too expensive. If I’m gonna pay that much I wish the employees would have been a bit nicer. The snakes were awesome to look at but not so much the random cockroaches walking around us.

I thought this would be a cool outing for my boys to enjoy. We all enjoyed it. I bought a deal off Groupon that included two admissions, an interactive presentation and two souvenir photos. I really enjoyed “wearing” a snake and my boys had a blast feeding the fish and turtles larvae worms and lettuce. Seeing the real Mrs. Kipling from Disney’s show Jessie was noteworthy. Overall, it’s a great option for learning about different kinds of reptile creatures. The staff were helpful and were willing to educate and answer questions.

This was a lot of fun for our family. We spent about an hour seeing things from the tiniest of scorpions to very large tortoises and all manner of snakes in between. The exhibits are clearly marked and the staff was friendly. We happily made the donation this visit knowing that this place takes very good care of the animals and its for a good cause.

This place is pretty cool. If your interested in reptiles they have a lot.If you have you own mini-dino at home, there is a lot of equipment, decor, and feeders for sale. If you want to get a new pet, they sell those too.I found out its family owned and operated which I always appreciate. And everyone there seemed pretty knowledgeable about all the different reptiles on display. If you have children who like reptiles they also do birthday parties. At the zoo or at your party wherever that may be.All and all a good find! I recomend checking it out.

Really worth the money to do the family pack for $65. The presentation was awesome and way longer than 20 minutes because the staff member was so gentle with the animals and kids. So many amazing creatures you can see up close! Loved the unmoving giant snapping turtle under the alligators, didnt even look real. My two girls really enjoyed feeding the African Barred Tortoises and the millions of turtles. We got to see Mrs. Kipling from Jessie and take a family photo with Marshmallow the Albino Burmese Python. You could spend an entire day and not see everything in here! Definitely going back if we travel to SoCal again! Do they sell season passes!? They should!

Lets just say most people spend about 2 hours in this place. Im totally obsessed with reptiles so I spent about 4 hours in there going back on fourth looking at their animals. All in all I was really happy with this place its super educational and theres an opportunity for you to get hands-on with the animals. There was the odd animal that I felt their cage was a little bit too small but those animals are generally for sale so Im assuming that they dont plan on having them in that enclosure for too long. apart from that that I cant wait to go back

This was so awesome!!! We stumbled onto this place thanks to Google maps and were so glad we did. We spent more time here than we did at several other zoos we went to on our 10-day road trip. The staff were nice and helpful, the animals were incredible!! Some enclosures seemed small, especially for giant tortoises, but everything was very clean. They also had cool fossils and rocks for sale, and as a pet store (for reptiles), the selection couldnt be beat. I cant say much about the prices, because being from Hawaii were not in the market to buy lizards, but the cost to get into the zoo was well WELL worth it.

Decided to swing by since I was in the area (coming from Los Angeles). Was very disappointed to see ants going in and out of tarantula and reptile enclosures. I notified one of the workers there and their response was oh yeah we know but we dont know what to do to stop it seriously??!! Ive got several several tarantulas myself and have delt with having to either rehouse or change out substrate to insure the safety of them due to the same issue and unfortunately I have lost one because of it . So to hear that kind of response was really a downer.

Nice staff. Can seem a little overwhelming for them to manage the store, entertain guests in the indoor zoo, and welcome customers (non-existent). Restrooms are in the zoo, even if you didnt buy any tickets (theyre quite strict on this). Supervision/staff accessibility seems minimal most of the time. They did bring a python out for pictures and let everyone else pet it, which was cool. Smaller reptiles were handed out to pet as well. Expect to be there for a couple of hours to get the most out of your time.

A bit pricy if youre on a tight budget but aside from that my teens loved it!! They got to interact with and animals and were there for over an hour took videos and pics. Be ready to bring some extra cash to feed the animals and if you want to take a pic with the big snake$8.00 with your own phone and $12.00 for a digital print pic. Feeding the turtles was about $3.25 for a little dish of live worms for the turtles and the same thing to feed the giant tortoise inside the little zoo. It stays open late and yes you can step in and out with your wrist band. $10.00 for adults 11yrs and up. Kids are about$8.00 and toddlers are free. If i recall correctly. Hope this helps.

Did not like the scene I had too see. There were over a hundred turtles in a far too small poud that offer you to feed them, but I watched a big turtle shred a smaller turtles neck as there was too many in sure a small enclosure.Too much competition and too little space for the poor turtle to eat as turtles of all sizes were in that pond.

I was heartbroken to see how the animals have to live. Their enclosures are way too small for some of their sizes. There’s also a pond at the front with a hundred or so turtles and it’s entirely too cramped of a space. There’s a breeding room where huge snakes are confined to tiny little boxes with no plants or rocks. Way too many animals for this small of a building. I can’t imagine they’re all being taken care of properly.

They have cool stuff but I was really heart broken to see how they cleaned the windows and sprayed them with the animals inside. They use windex and Im sure the reptiles dont like that. They spay the windows while the animals are inside and clean them with a towel attached to a broom. They hit the animals as they are doing this and move them harshly out of the way to get the other side clean. So sad. Will never support them or visit the store again. That is no way to treat the animals and there are natural products you can use to keep the animals safe.
