After the results of the election I too felt robbed, not just of my freedom, for the freedom of my children and of all my folks everywhere else in this country. With that feeling in my gut and no reason at all whatsoever, I thought that it would be a responsible decision as a sensible adult to purchase a gun the Wednesday after the election last week. It was astounding just how many brave and patriotic Americans join me in the long line to register for a gun that I was definitely going to use on anyone that disagreed with me and didnt know the difference between an absentee ballot and a mailing ballot. The amount of sharp-minded and cream of crop individuals that were with me in that line just made me feel more safe when I went to bed at night. Thank God and white jesus that I live in Huntington Beach.God bless the USA and God bless standardized testing and all the brave people that love to waive a firearm on PCH when a divisive individual poking and shouting the American public for four years mishandles a pandemic with 230,000 dead, manages to somehow, someway, to lose the electionI love this country

Favorite store ever, hands down. Has ALL the goods you could ever want for your active lifestyle. They always have awesome sales and let GGTC host their meetings there too. Deli section is my favorite, come in and youll understand what I mean.

This place is the best, I got my compound bow here and I wouldnt recommend going to any other store. I drive from rancho Palos verdes and the drive is worth it every time. They have an archery range inside to practice and they also offer classes if you want to get into bow hunting and dont know where to go this store is the place for you. I like guns but I dont own any so I really cant review on that part of the store but my buddy is the one who recommended me here and he is all about the guns here and wont go where else.

Took my 7year old daughter for the free intro class and we had a blast with instructor Jim who was an excellent, very thorough and patient teacher keeping all safe.

Went there looking for a particular firearms, unlike Ammo Bros wherein you wait outside in the sun and you cant ask anybody for a simple question, at Turners I walked inside. Theres a person that asks you if you need something in particular, will check it right away if they have it in stock so you dont waste your time waiting. Will definitely recommend, I like people who cares about other peoples time, and in my surprise, they also answer their phone

Visited the other day to pick up some gun cleaner and they were all very friendly and helpful.

Got there and was greeted by a nice kid. Sat in line for a while and a rude older guy behind the counter started getting nasty about the line. We dont know what happened but it was so bad we decided to leave Had a lot of buying to do so we headed to a different place to shop.

When I went in the guns were picked clean nothing left witch is a good thing people are taking there 2nd amendment rights seriously and with all the crazy going on its good to see people are going to protect them selves, its a sporting good store so it all good, hopefully there getting more weapons in soon to sale. they have a bid bow and arrow section there as well .

James W made my selection process more than enjoyable and the recommendations he made were excellent considering the options available at the time.Now, for those who are bashing Turners in regards to them having to turning people away OR start a list because of the 60 people waiting outside... Look at the positives -They still managed to stay OPEN. They created a list as well as a 6 foot policy to keep us safer. FOR US despite all the warnings. Stop the nonsense.What really happened - I waited my in turn in line at 9am (everyone 6 feet apart), got on the 3rd page of the list, was told it could be 2-4hours (he was very honest with everyone, I sat in my car on my laptop for the duration and listened to him tell 200plus people the circumstance...not easy and he managed to stay polite in my opinion), it ended up taking 3 hours. They then called me, I walked up and they let me in and conducted my business.Big thanks to the door guy for dealing with the crazy people, James for keeping a great attitude throughout the adversity, Sunny for the customer service, and I believe the assistant manager who very was helpful upon my second visit.Thanks again guys! Youll see me soon.

Went to Turners FV to get some archery equipment for me and my daughter. The whole experience was an absolute pressure. There was a staff member there by the name of Ralph and he is absolutely the best. Totally recommend visiting them for your archery needs.

I had excellent customer service 10 days ago. Now that the virus is here, there is a line of 60 people and theyre not even letting anyone in just to do a pick up which is ridiculous. They should have a separate section just for pickups.

Went to the store to buy my first handgun. After talking to James I settled on a Glock 17. All staff were very helpful and friendly.

Helpful people who understand and help educate on new Calif-compliant firearms laws. They work as fast as they can. Buying a firearm or even ammo is not a quick process in CA. If you remember this going in you will have the best experience purchasing your hunting or home protection items.

Called today to inquire some info on how to purchase a hunting rifle since I am not interested in hand gun. I ask what type of paper work or permit I need to purchase a bolt action hunting rifle. Had to explain my question twice to the lady on the phone. She didnt seem to want to help me and told me to go to CA DOJ to look it up. After half an hour searching I still do not have definitive answer other than driver license and proof of residency. She did not bother to transfer me to someone who can help. What great service.

One of my favorite sporting/fishing/hunting goods stores. Good selection, well stocked and well staffed, most days. Almost always some kind of sale going on. Very knowledgeable.

One time one of my gun enthusiast friends told me to never visit Turners because the prices were always higher than the rest. If you remember an old place in Costa Mesa called Grants for Guns, it was the hang out in the 1980s for expert opinions. Turners Outdoors has taken its place and its the neighborhood friendly gun store. I feel so hurried and like a number when I went to Rifle Gear but there are guys in Turners that have been doing this for a very long time. They can talk your ear off about ammo too -- Really like the neighborhood gun shop feeling that there is in the midwest coming here in Fountain Valley. The pricing is right there if not less than online. THX

Best Fishing advice you can get!

I am a first timer trying to get all the knowledge I can about buying a gun and the older saleman white hair guy just told me just take the test and that it. He show me no guns or the up and down about firearms period. So I will not buy anything from them and tell all the people I know to stay away and go spend your money at other gun stores.

Tried to get a new reel and waited 45+ min to walk out with nothin cause I wasnt served.

Excellent customer service. Firearm purchases I have performed here have always gone smoothly. I reccomended them to anyone interested in buying a firearm. Store is well stocked. There was an ammo shortage a few years ago, as of this review ammunition is plentiful.

With California being very anti 2A it is surprising that Turners is able to stock their store as well as they have. You can find just about anything you would need for shooting or fishing at Turners. Couple of weeks ago while buying my daughter a fishing pole, I spotted a great deal on a armorers wrench for myself.

Came to get my Firearms Safety Certificate (FSC) and the staff here were very friendly and knowledgeable about handguns, rifles and ammunition. Asked them multiple questions about gun safety and gun laws and I got all the information I needed to pass the test. My only complaint is that the nearest Turners from my house is 10 miles away

Usually, there are very few people in line, so you can get in and out pretty fast. Employees seem to have much better attitude than in other Turners store I visited.

Friendly staff and helpful, I visit many guns shop, turners is the best for me when I speak about the customer services not only this branch also I have been in other stores it’s same dealing. But for me it’s difficult to find the accessories for my sig sauer in many places in California. I got from them the pistol case 9” for 10$ +tax which was really fat to my guns and it’s good quality.

Racial Profile Much? My brother (Caucasian) had zero issues walking into Turners and getting assistance with the purchase of a firearm. Standing next to him, my husband (Southern European aka olive skinned) was met with hostility by the manager. Sales staff were helpful until manager rushes over to create an issue that was not appropriate for the intended sale. So disappointed.

The staff here are most helpful! I feel like they truly want their customers to be satisfied and get all their customers questions answered. That is something that I feel some other stores, that shall not be named, lack in.The wait was somewhat long, but Im assuming its because everyone is coming in after work and Turners closes at 8pm. I got in and out in about an hour and thats including taking the firearms safety certificate test.Check it out!

I must say customer service is poor at best here. The sales rep was explaing in ins and outs of buying a pistol to a gentleman. This conversation was taking place T the part of the counter with the nice displays. I was crouching to look at the knives and this sales rep didnt have the common since to bump it down a couple of feet (of empty space) so I could get a clear view of the knife display. He proceeded to talk for 10 min. About politics, government, law changes and conspiracy theories. I was prepared to buy 4 knives all with a cost of over $200.00 each. After this lack of common courtesy I took my business elsewhere. Turners in Signal is a much better store they took care of me and actually earned my repeat business.

Good products, but sad organization, the number system helps but they need a larger gun counter, I hate filling out personal information when someone else is staring over my shoulder.

As an outdoor enthusiast I really like Turners. They have a great selection on firearms which is tough now days. Try to purchase a hand gun and the lady with glasses was rude and unhelpful .also saw that she did not want to help because her roommate was there . made some mistakes on the forms and she couldnt explain what the problem was. she expecting me to know for my first time purchaseing an arms so I just left never going again ...glad the the tusten one was really helpful and and nice
