Covid definitely hit them on crowd, but the band was great, the bartenders and waitresses were awesome and the vibe of the bar was fantastic. Definitely recommend.

Okay i have A LOT to say about this little bar!!! I absolutely love rodeo exchange it is my favorite place in the Fort Worth stockyards to go to. 1st its really not hard to find its the last bar at the end of the street. It normally only cost $5 to get in the door. Ive never had to wait in a line but it is always slam packed. They have a coat check at the door Really awesome in the Winter time. Every time Ive been they have a live band. The bands are always great because they play a fantastic mixture of current country music and 90s and older country music. So you Might hear Florida Georgia line and then neon moon by Brooks & Dunn. I just turned 30 but I love the crowd they are all older thats the scene i preferr. Drinks are fairly priced. As far is the alcohol content The drinks are made correctly (Referring to the amount of alcohol) my Favorite bartender is alley if she doesnt know how to make a drink she will Google it and find out! Only problem is people really love her and shes always super busy! Lol There are pool tables where you can play pool. The boot Shinner guys are brothers, They are so sweet and do a really good job! I wish this bar was bigger and the dance floor was bigger just because theyre so many people its sometimes hard to dance but I also think that thats what makes it fun. The thing that I really hate the most is the smoking inside!! Its difficult because the smoke smell gets in my hair and clothes If you dont smoke you really dont like the smell.Theyre supposed to be a rule that its going to be changing soon so we will see! Well as a black man I do think it was great. I truly never got into country music. I have learned one valuable lesson. Never knock it until you try it. I would definitely recommend it all. The music was great and the dancing was something you have to see.

My husband and I were in the Stockyards to dance. This place was okay but does not have the authentic feel that we expected in the Stockyards. There was more of a dance club atmosphere here.

Visited Rodeo Exchange on New Years Eve, music was decent and the drinks were a good price. The problem was closing time. Now I understand that drunks are not the easiest to deal with, but when closing time came everyone that worked there just started yelling at the customers to get out and to top it off a guy sitting by the door was yelling at the women to get the F$#k out now. There is no call for anyone to talk to a customer like that. When we asked at first he said he was the owner then later after we kept pressing the staff, they told us he was a friend of one of the employees. Now matter what he was his language was not appropriate for an establishment. His actions/language was uncalled for and I will not be going back.

Ive been here about 4 times and its just not for me. The people that hang out here arent really that friendly. The music is straight country with nothing else mixed in. If youre looking for a legit honky tonk...this is your place. Theres usually a cover and the drinks are strong. Not much of a younger crowd in there by the way.

Went there last week and had lots of fun, good live music and a nice dance floor. Everyone was nice and I will say it the best place to go to for some stockyard fun.
