Learn to sail there in 1967 in a pram. Then to sunfish. Flying Dutchman. Flying Scots., It was a great place for children young and old. You cant find a more beautiful spot then sailing on Choctawhatchee Bay.

Perfect views with no people around. Members only to get on premises and to park. Nice quiet escape from the busy Ft Walton Beach roads and hectic traffic.

Very welcoming yacht club for visiting sailors. They held a very well managed midwinters regatta for the J-22 and the Tripp 26 sailboat classes.

Great place to sail. Ocean winds with smooth waters. Generally hot and stormy...but thats the typical weather. Totally worth the heat and the occasional storm for such a great sailing venue

Relaxed atmosphere with friendly people. Its for members only or escorted guests. Was there as part of a retirement ceremony. Seemed spacious and able to accommodate large crowds.

I am not a yacht club member but I attended the yacht club for a meeting of another organization. The yacht club catered lunch and did an excellent job. The facility itself is also very nice, with a very scenic location near the water.

My wife and I felt very much at home there. Great people and atmosphere.

Lucky enough to sail and race with my neighbor. Heres a long time member. The whole group is devoted to sailing and the fun races each will are a highlight.

I had lunch on a Friday afternoon. I ordered a long island ice tea and a chicken salad. My drink was fantastic, the salad was just as good. Nice portion size. An amazing view, very friendly staff

Easy access out of the rush

Fort Walton Beach yacht club is it very old boating establishment like most yacht club overpriced priced drinks food is halfway decent the majority of the people are snooty but the other half are very nice kinda like our country split on everything the interior is building old but whoever theyre cleaning service was was doing a really good job because it was really really clean bathrooms with spotless inside and out so that goes a long way with my wife and I
