Super cool theater. First time visiting. Very clean. Friendly staff. Unique layout. Theatre seemed small but it was a nice change from the super theaters that are around now. Would definitely go back again.

I watched the movie I CAN JUST IMAGINE MOVIE here! It was an awesome experience and a great place to enjoy myself and my and friends. This is the only cinema aroundhat I think I will go back to take my family on a nice place to see Movie I had a wonderful time just me and my friend at this particular movie. We cried and laughed through the whole movie it was one of the best I’ve seen in a while. I even went and bought it!

BOY DO THEY LOVE THEIR TRAILERS! it was actually comical that showtime was at 3:45 but the movie didnt start until 4:10 I almost forgot the movie we went to see.... Other than that and the seats needing an upgrade its a nice place. Simple small and cute!

I like the stadium seating, but the place could use a few updates.Not sure that Im not just spoiled, but most of the places in Central Arkansas (where we are from) have assigned seating and recliners now. Its really nice.Everything else was good. The image quality and sound were good, so no big complaints. Would definitely go again next time we are in Ft Walton.

Didnt have the best experience when there was a bug crawling on me and went to manager to say something and they were like thats not possible.1/11/20 I went tonight and everything was fine no issues at all.

One of the worst movie theaters we have ever been to, will not go back! It does in fact have stadium seating but it doesnt start until youre about 30 feet from the already tiny screen. Even in the first row of stadium seating, its hard to read words on the screen. On top of the screen problems were the sound issues. It was not surround sound! All the sound from the movie came from two tiny speakers in the front of the theater. You couldnt hear the movie over the loud overhead air conditioning vent. Save yourself some money and go somewhere else.

DO NOT GO TO SUN PLAZA!!!!Went to see Maleficent 2 with my daughter, purchased tickets and concession and Surround sound does not work and management knew and still sold us tickets!! Got a refund and obviously wanted our popcorn and drinks refunded, they took the popcorn and drinks from us, what are they gonna do give it to someone else!!! Poor management!! Didnt even spend half an hour in there!!! They dont even deserve the one star!!! Happy Thanksgiving to my 10 year old daughter and I!!!! Never going there again!!!

I dont go to see movies in theatres often but this place isnt bad. Only thing is if youre going to charge the food at 3-4 times than it is worth atleast have quality food. My favorite combo for any movie is a warm pretzel and cheese. Got a microwaved pretzel that was skinny and extremely dry and i always make that same mistake every time. Popcorn was stale and cheese was served cool. But thats just me.

Friendly staff and all of the most current movies. I just saw Toy Story 4 with my girlfriend and the theater looked remarkably clean and had some nice sound. It was quite a nice place to walk into.

Needs renovation, a good medium sized theater. Staff probably doesnt get paid enough, as no one seems happy to be there. Floors are usually sticky, but bathrooms are clean enough. People attend because of location.

Screen brightness and quality is 1/10. There is much better quality on YouTube. Please visit Destin or Pensacola cinemas if you’d like to experience the quality the filmmakers intended. I was unimpressed by the The Lion King. After watching a plethora of videos on my iPhone from YouTube, I’m convinced that the quality from the theatre is localized. It’s just a waste of money to visit this theatre. Long Live The King.

Was everything youd expect from a great movie experience

In the age of the multiplex, this is a relic of a bygone age. The seating is old style for half of the theater and stadium style for the rest. The seats remind me more of a lecture hall than the comfortable seats we get in modern cinemas. The sound and picture quality was good. I didnt get any concessions, but it looked pretty much like what you expect from a basic theater.

Best theater you will find in Fort Walton. Friendly staff and theater is clean. If your looking for better you have to goto Destin. The Mall theater should be avoided.

The place is pretty dated. It could really use a facelift and some new seats. When we got our Sprite the machine was apparently our of syrup so we returned it and they kindly fixed the issue and gave us another one, we were not the first person to complain about it.

Back in the late 80s and early 90s my teen years were filled with different fun times, of which frequently watching movies here. From Batman in 1989 to the Flintstones in 1994 its great that its still here and should be... Awesome

Clean and fun atmosphere. Close to mall and grocery stores. Watch a movie while you get your prescription filled across the street.

Seems like an old (not updated) building. The sound is the best and screen isn’t as large as other places. Seating is snug & cramped. Not very comfortable. Weird that they have straight row seating.

Went to see Bohemian Rhapsody in theater 1 for the 4 oclock showing. The surround sound wasnt working. I told the manager as the movie was beginning. He said he couldnt fix it by himself and offered me a refund ticket.Its a movie about a rock band.With poor sound.Im surprised more people didnt complain.The manager gave me a ticket for another movie but did not offer my date one.Good movie. Bad service

Located in a nice shopping center, this small theater is excellent! Theres always a line to get in because you get all the new movies at a slightly lower price. The snack bar has good choices & the service is great!I highly recommend this place!

This is an older movie theater location that shows current movies. It isnt the size (room or screen) of the newer theaters nor the same atmosphere and technology, but can give you that nostalgic feel of stepping back in time a little bit. In all fairness they do offer competitive ticket prices and arent as busy as the other theaters. If you are like me, I dont like standing in line or dealing with large crowds for anything.

Its been a while since Ive been to a movie theater, so these observations may seem trite to some. The theatre was very clean and the seats were quite comfortable.When we walked in, we had no idea which screen was showing our movie as there was no signage (we had tickets purchased through the internet), so I had to go back outside and go to the ticket booth and ask.I really didnt care for the seating either. The upper section didnt have arms on the seats.They showed 17 minutes of previews, which I think is a bit too much. Therefore the movie didnt begin on time.As I said though, I havent been to a theatre in a long while, so this may be standard in cinemas nowadays.

Its a very small place I can really complain to watch a movie. There is A bathroom on both of the exits. the place is clean is right across from my house. Im a customer with a rewards card and I always get free tickets popcorn and drinks definitely worth it

I went to see the new Halloween movie and have never been so disappointed in a film as I was with this one.

Building was very old, the seating hurt my knees after 2 hours and 30 minutes of sitting cramped watching It 2. But the employees were very friendly. Just wish they would update their facilities.

I seen one movie here but had a positive experience. The staff was friendly. The prices are very fair in comparisons to surrounding theaters. The seating is very comfortable, especially for what the outside of the theater looks like. The popcorn also tastes great. This is a great run-of-the-mill theater. There isnt really anything to complain about but the experience wasnt amazing either.

Its dated in terms of amenities, but the overall quality is better than the Santa Rosa mall theater down the road.However, the better quality is offset by a different selection of movies. Films are usually split between the two theaters depending on distributor and projected popularity, I presume.If what you want to see is being shown here, this is the best place in the FWB area. Otherwise youll want to go to Destin or past Navarre.

Tried to be fair in rating this theater, and was pretty pleased with the experience at first. The movie (Glass) was one Id been looking forward to seeing, and since there are two Regal Cinemas within a couple of miles of my home, I opted for the one I had never visited.I read reviews first, and since most spoke of less expensive tickets and amenities (drinks, popcorn, hotdogs, etc), I chose Regal Cinema 8 to see the movie. The past reviews were correct about a nice cool & clean atmosphere, as well as the disappointments over no cup-holders on the seats and small, incorrectly calibrated screen with unbalanced sound system.I was okay with having captions and credits going off the edge of the screen on both sides. I didnt find the sound so off-center that it ruined the movie experience. I got past the over-priced and underwhelming concessions (Large Drink, Cold stale Popcorn, and Tiny $6.00 hotdog)... and sat back to enjoy the film.Problems started for me, by my own undoing, when I fell asleep during what seemed to be WAY TOO MANY commercials mingled with the Previews!! I woke up about 45 minutes into the movie, thinking Id missed only a few minutes. It took me about half an hour to realize what had happened, and look at my watch to figure this out.I went to the concession stand, where I had purchased my ticket, getting refills on my large Coke and Popcorn, plus biying a hotdog. I explained that I had fallen asleep and would prefer to sit through it again, rather than watch the ending and spoil the whole thing.The kid at the concessions said No, I dont think you are allowed to do that, Sir. Our Manager doesnt allow that.Of course, feeling Id been courteous even by asking... I asked to speak with said manager. I was very surprised when I was told I would have to purchase another ticket to sit through it again. I explained that I would never have refilled the popcorn & Coke, nor pirchased the over-priced hotdog... if I would have thought I would encounter such disregard for the paying customer from both the employees and manager. I bought the 2nd ticket, and I promise you... this lady manager has lost my patronage for Regal Cinema 8 in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. I will also go out of my way to let my friends and family (plus Social Media contacts) know how badly I was treated, as a paying customer in a pathetically EMPTY cinema!!Do not go here!! It shows the same movies as Regal Cinema 10, right up the street... and the whole experience is SUB-par and disrespective of the Age-Old adage. . The Customer is Always Right.Wont be seeing me again, Ms. Manager. You shouldnt be working for Regal, especially in a public relations capacity. I do plan to complain to your corporate office and see about getting a refund for BOTH of the tickets I bought Today.

Went to take my boyfriend to The Quiet Place here for his birthday. I paid for the tickets online but when I went inside there was no one at the ticket check. So I just went straight to the snack bar to order. They didn’t check our bags since no one was there so I kind of wish we had brought our own snacks. When we sat down for the movie, it started but then turned off because no one had scanned our tickets so they thought no one was there. When we went out to ask them to turn it back on, a woman, I’m assuming the manager, made it seem like a HUGE inconvenience. She rolled her eyes and stalked off to turn it back on. Let me emphasize that we were EXTREMELY polite about it because I figured it was my fault for not finding someone to scan the tickets. When we sat back down to finish the movie, there was no audio. At first we thought it was just part of the movie but quickly realized it just wasn’t working. When I went back out to mention it, I was very apologetic for bothering her and told her it wasn’t working. She said that it was called the quiet place for a reason, it was a quiet movie. I calmly explained that there was clearly audio we were missing because there were talking scenes that we couldn’t hear. She walked off and rolled her eyes without saying anything else to me. I went in and sat back down. It took her more than probably 10 minutes to get the audio back and we missed a core part of the only dialogue in the movie. I would absolutely never go back to this theater solely because of the managers behavior. I understand people have bad days sometimes but it was pretty unacceptable.

Just like a million other suburban multiplexes. No worse no no better.

A 5 star experience is going to require better pricing for snacks.

I find it hard to believe that this is the most highly rated theater in Fort Walton Beach. The seats were uncomfortable and didnt recline at all. The screen was probably the smallest Ive seen. The image quality was bad. The popcorn was stale and full of kernels. I hope that the local Regal cinemas have some major upgrades planned for the best future. Until the are some major changes, Ill drive the extra 20 minutes to Destin to AMC.

Friendly and accommodating. Screen in Theatre 4 much too small. Blown left rear speaker should be fixed as it crackled intermittently during the show.

Fun family time

One of our two local Regal Cinemas. Its a perfectly adequate place to view a movie. A little older, sure, but not bad in any real way.

Dont expect the good theatre style pretzels.. they are microwaved and given to you in a bag, without any butter or salt so they are rubbery and bland. Nice stadium seats but small screens.

Comfy chairs, plenty of room, decent temps, and overall nice theater. The movie was awesome.

Complete waste of $100! They leave the lighting on during their movies, makes it hard to watch a 3D movie when the ambient light in the room is so much. Went out and asked management to dim the lights thinking someone forgot to, she rudely said “they’re automated and it’s for your safety,” and then walked away from me. Spend a lot of time taking our kids to the movies and have never been in a theater where all the lights are left on during the movie and not just the path lights. And then to top off our experience the popcorn and soda is very overpriced, no combos are offered at this location even with our Regal Club card, then we all got very sick to our stomach after eating them. Never plan on going back and would not recommend to anyone, you’ll have a better experience in your living room than here!

I love going to the movies but with the prices of tickets and snacks are crazy! My family and I see a film in theaters maybe once ever six months and we usually have to be extremely excited to merit spending the cash. I have been coming to Sun Plaza sikce I was 10 years old and noe I take my 8 and 9 year old there so if we do venture out to the movies we always stick with Sun Plaza for their stadium seating and polite staff!

Last night I went to the UA Santa Rosa 10 by the mall and had such a... unique .... experience that I had to go see the movie again (see my review for the details). Every star I too away from that place I give to this one. It may not be that good, but in comparison it shines.I just wish the experience here would wash the taste of last night out of my mouth.

I enjoy the show. I enjoy the discounts. I enjoy the rewards. I also like the fact its ten minutes from my house.

Very expensive ticket prices for a very mediocre theater. It was clean but nothing special. The normal ticket prices are almost $11 per ticket, most theaters we pay $12 for two tickets. Just feel like it was a bit high. Popcorn was yummy and staff was friendly so Ill still give a 3

First things first, the prices are absolutely outrageous, I thought avoiding the toll bridge and going here instead of Destin would save me money but I was by far wrong. Second thing, the staff did not seem sincere or happy, clearly they didnt want to be there either, Im not some cheap person but I personally just dont drink soda or juice but I cant bring in my own water or get water because they sell it but charge $4.99 for a small water. I definitely wont be coming back here anytime soon.

Sitting and watching a black screen while waiting 9 mins after it was listed to start. So loud my daughter had her ears muffed for good amount of movie.

The kids that were working were kind enough. Though why an 18 year old cannot purchase a ticket for a 17 year old because he needed to be 21 to do so is beyond me. This does not make any sense to me. They can both die for our country (one with parent release signature) but cannot see a movie like Logan because of one set of breasts. I assure theyve been looking at those for many many years. For the amount the tickets cost changes should starting taking place like getting rid of the jock strap smell maybe by removing the dingy carpet, mop the sticky floors so they are not death traps. The bathroom so the doors actually work correctly and can actually latch, and how about fixing the entrance doors so that while quietly watching the movie its not getting slammed on its hinges and causing mini heart attacks.

Watched End Game last night and evey time our movie got quiet you would hear the movies from both sides of the theater we were in. Very annoying. At some times I couldnt understand what they was saying in our movie over all the booming from the others. The seats suck too!

Arived after checking in on Moviepass to be told the Movie we wanted to see (Hotel Artemis) was cancelled to show another Incredibles 2. Is it really necessary to cancel the movies others planned on? Also is there not a way for them to update the showtimes online?

This is a lovely hometown theater but large enough for bigger crowds.

Movie next room over from my movie was very loud. Hard to hear our movie sometimes.

I went for a premier of 12 strong with a bunch of people from work. The theatre was great and the staff was friendly.

As far as movie theaters go, this was just a bad experience overall. My son left is phone in the car, and while waiting forever for the movie to start, I let him go run out to the car and get it. Big mistake. When he was gone, he told me that the manager came out and barked at him to show ID if he was leaving. My son told him hed be right back, that he just had to get his phone, and even showed him his ticket. The manager didnt even look at his ticket, and threatened to kick him out. My son came back to the theater and asked me to come along with him, and the manager tried to explain some sort of policy about leaving. Yet, once I came out.. he said that my son could get his phone. I was done at that point, i took my ticket and put it on the counter.. said have a good day and walked out right then and there, never to return again.

Visited Saturday and loveA the ticket price verses ticket prices at a Cobb or AMC Theatre. Clean facilities and friendly service.
