Very nice Golf courses ... Great people and a fun place to play. Two courses very well kept up. The Oaks is tight put fair and not as long as the Pines which is longer and more wide open, both are a very good test of golf.

Great Course! They have two courses, The Pines is more for begginers, open fairways and rough area. The Oaks is more Narrow and more technical fairways and rough areas. Great Course either way. $2 range buckets and well kept chipping and putting greens. Always a great spot to play.

Played here about 4 time now and they never disappoint. Nice fairways and greens! Played the Oaks side for the first time. Tight fairways makes sure your hitting 40 yrds across in some areas. Fun to play.

I was moderately irradiated that my first time out here when I was told I could not walk before 10am. It is frustrating as a low single digit handicap single, that I was told I would slow down play walking, when the course is packed with groups of slow hackers on carts. But, the course experience, riding a cart was decent. Below is a review of each course.Pines: This course is not anything too special, it’s really short, even from the tips. There is nothing really protecting the course from bad shots, you can miss the fairways and miss the greens and still manage to go low. But it’s not too bad!Oaks: This course is way better than the pines course. Fun design, solid condition, but very short, even from the tips. You can play this course easily with wild bombs off the tees and nice wedges into the green.

Very nice course, well maintained and affordable. My only complaint is that you cannot stop in the club house and get a drink around 5:30 on Sundays because they have closed already.

Good for a municipal course. They need to tear down all the old buildings. Cut down the dead trees and remove them. Put up a few more signs for next tee boxes. 13 hole on Pines course is a fine example. Fairways are extremely hard pan.

The course is beautiful.

The marshalls are very rude. I understand, its December, but the course is in worse shape than any other course in the area. The kitchen staff and front desk were nice.

Great time and cheap buckets on the driving range

Really liked the course, but to have a tournament with over 50 people participating and not have the driving range available is totally unacceptable.

Great course layout on the Oaks course! Tight on most of the fairways. Greens in great condition, but could be a little faster. But for the price.... it was great!

With the many courses around the area the Oaks Course has a great layout and is a good challenge for all skill levels. And the 19th hole is a comfy way to enjoy your finish.

The city of Fort Walton Beach does a wonderful job maintaining this public course.

If you cant abide by your Hours of Operation listed on your range then take the sign down. Its 7:05pm on a Sunday and the range is closed. Sign clearly states closes for maintenance at 8pm.

I played several courses in the area. Both courses at the Fort Walton Beach Golf Club are nice and challenging courses. And the staff that works there has never been anything but friendly. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants the best bang for their buck.

Two Trees is a very nice eatery. Was there for a Celebration of Life and the staff was very good with excellent food and drink.

Reasonably priced and the greens are way better. GPS doesnt always show like its right but its always an awesome time. Staff is awesome.

Great municipal course. Two 18 hole tracks with different personalities, one wide open and the other a target course. Very good conditions, Great recovery from a few years back.

We rented clubs, our 1 wood broke and we were not refunded any money.

Great place for a walk in the park. Good people working here, like old friends. It doesnt hurt that it is 7 minutes from my house and almost never any trouble getting a tee time.The cost for a rider could use some addressing though. I went with my buddy and girlfriend (he was playing, she was not) and it cost $16 for her to ride. $5 or so would be reasonable, $16 seems excessive.Other than that, love this place. I play it at least 20 times a year.

Great golf courses, all 36 holes. The pines is set in the pine trees, rolling terrain, and a pesky little creek running through these 18 holes. The oaks is true southern golf, you dont even know you are in Florida. Front nine plays among the oaks, while the back has a parkland or links type feel on some holes. And again that pesky little creek challenges you on a couple of holes. Staff was very friendly and you cant beat the bargain price. The city got it right when they built these two beautiful golf courses.

Hey Golfers! This place is back to the hidden gem it was in the past. Greens are beautiful again and quick! If you live in the area, what a treat to play.

Overpriced and almost unmanaged. The Pines and Oaks are $25 courses that will cost you $40 to play; and the “starters” are simply cashiers. None of the staff seem to have much idea who nor how many are playing where. Play is excruciatingly slow during the week, I wouldn’t even attempt to try on the weekend. I’ve routinely called ahead and asked about crowds, then driven there and paid to be on the less crowded course, only to drive over to the #1 tee as the 6th group waiting to tee off. (Recently, To which the “marshal” replied via radio - “no delay in play at all, I don’t know what he’s talking about” when asked by the clubhouse.)As a matter of fact, in between my last shot and waiting to take another, Ive had time to look up the website, find the reviews, type this, and now have another 5 minutes or so to swing again.If you have 5-6 hours free to play a slightly below average course for almost double what it’s worth - this is the place for you!(Note: I’d add an hour or two to that on the weekend.)

Excellent nice game good weather

Today was my last time here. We teed off a bit before our 1030 time today. It started raining on the first green. There was a shelter to pull under and stay dry. But it was filled by employees! As we paying customers are left under trees! We waited 25 mins for the rain to pass. Afterward we resumed our round. On the 4th fairway an old man on a cart. Presumably a marshal comes by and says course is closed for one hour. Thats all he said? I called the pro shop and was told to come in and get a raincheck for 18. Then they tried to give me only 9!! The employees are terribly rude and honestly disrespect the game. They gave me the 18, but i will most likely give it away. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO NICEVILLE!!!! Rocky Bayou is 100 percent better club. And you will be treated RESPECTFULLY. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURSE!!

OK, its a muni and I knew that going in but it is so bland. You almost cant get in trouble. In places, the grass on the fairway is longer than in the rough.Locals say it is like most munis, OK today and bad tomorrow. It was just barely OK when we played in a tournament there.Not going back.
