Free parking. Valet available as well. I come for performances and the Christmas concertos. Arrive 20 mins prior to get good parking, women don’t bring handbags over 15x15 inches in diameter. A cross body or small purse will do. They have security check now and metal detectors. Which made me sad because they never did that before but I can understand. The temperatures inside runs cold so have a throw over, sweater or a light jacket or you will be uncomfortable. Sit on the edge of isle so you can get up if needed the seat are comfortable but snug. For selfies and group pictures the lighting is not good in the front entrance lounge. Just use flash or tilt you head up and take a pic on an angle with camera pointing down so that you get lightning in you faces. Bring your own snack or eat prior to performances because one cookie water or hot chocolate is $4 and the price is going up every year.

As a native New Yorker, I am used to Broadway quality productions. I think its wonderful that BB Mann PAH is booking such great current Broadway tours and other productions. The variety is wonderful. Ive enjoyed the many shows Ive seen there. The facility itself is a bit lacking. The acoustics and sound are not terrific and at times, its difficult to hear lines. Improvements in that area would make for a much better experience.

Nice theater to see small shows at. Theres always something happening at the Barbara B Mann. Seen quite a few musicals and concerts over the years the latest one was Firehouse and Winger. The venue really needs to double the size of their concession stand for their wine, booze and beer because it creates a log jam and when the shows getting ready to start after intermission people are constantly streaming in late.Theres also a lot of staff to get you wherever youre going and stop you if youre going someplace they dont want you to be. Look on their website, youll be surprised at how many events they put on, definitely worth checking it out.

Have been here for only two things: Aida musical and Kevin James stand up comedy. The facility is very nice although pricey, but most smaller performing arts locations are. They have a concession stand with food and drinks. Only downside is, there is no photography allowed. You pay a lot for a ticket to see a performer and it would be nice to get at least one photo as a memento (or even a program with photos, etc.)

Small to mid size two story theater. Plenty of parking but when theres a full house the theater and lobby feel quite small, and the concessions could offer better options. The size of the theater make most of the seats have great views, no pillars or other impediments to viewing. 4/5

Hamilton was awesome. I always enjoy seeing performances here. As of January 2020, valet parking was $15. *Tip* to get to the valet station the fastest, take the steps on the far left, as you face the stage, all the way down to the bottom exit. It takes you directly out next to valet ticket station. You cannot come back in that way, however. Bottle water, cookies, pretzels, and water are all $4. I think the candy is the same price. Wine is $7. The one comment people made was the limited restroom facilities. The line for both men and women get long during intermission. Though the mens line go faster.

We came from Sarasota to watch The Book of Mormon. The show overall was fine. We sat in the wheelchair section in the back, the view was fine. Where I found issue was with the ushers, they were rude. I was with my husband and they must have assumed that since Im a wheelchair user I can not communicate. All questions were and eye contact was directed at him. Will she... Can she.... I was sitting right there fully capable. The wheelchair accessible bathroom stall was also the worst Ive been into. I had to back in with my chair, had zero room to face toilet and my feet stuck out from the stall once the door was shut. Handicapped parking was plentiful despite its bad location. Its close enough to the door, but all the spots are in right in entrance and exit of the parking lot. When my husband was putting my chair in the trunk it was dangerous and was mere inches away from cars exiting the parking lot. If a person had a vehicle that used a ramp to enter from the back of their car/van this would be 100% not doable. We probably wont be coming back here, mainly because of the staff, despite the accessibility issues.

We purchased two tickets to see Peter Noone on Jan.30,2020. When My wife and I got to the theatre entrance, we were greeted by whatlooked like the security setup at the airport. We were told that my wifes pocket book was too large and she could not enter the theatre with it. I explained to the security people that she had stage 5 kidney disease, congestive heart failure and diabetes. We could not leave her bag with meds in the car.One of the security people was willing to make the exception. The supervisor, however would not. In fact the Supervisor called one of the Sherriffs Deputies over as though I was going to assault him. Really? at 71 years of age its doubtful... I contacted the theatres box office the next business day for a refund.. The people were rude and uncaring. after speaking to someone who said they were management, they agreed to refund the 138.oo back to my credit card. Well several emails and the corona virus later, still no refund. Its now June 27th... I have all the emails....I guess I have to take them to court??? The keystone cops that serve as the security force are over zealous, to say the least. The Sherriffs deputy belongs washing cars..The staff at the Barabara Mann boxoffice is a poor representation of the theatre and all it stands for. We have lived here for 33 years and it seems we need some other venue in Ft Myers that can compete with the only game in town...

This is a pretty nice venue. The parking lots are all close to the theater which makes the walk short and the parking is free with the option of purchasing valet service. The valet is run by a separate company thats a little lacking so youre better off self parking. The acoustics in the front row of the theater are very dampened so some things were hard to hear. There are a lot of elderly people in the area so the bathrooms during intermission have huge lines, even the mens room lines stretched across the lobby. I feel they need to do something to alleviate this, possibly opening another building or having trailered bathrooms brought in for events. The staff was nice and the venue was clean. Id come here again but its not my favorite place to see a show.

The ballets was totally amazing.! The seating was not so comfortable... There was no poster hanging or nothing on the wall with the theme of the performance to get a picture.. I was expecting a little more ambiance at this ballet it being Christmas and all.To get a drink was crazy ridiculous a old man that was old and move slower than a snail and they only had one person working up stairs he took 20 minutes for a 8 ounce drink for $8.00 which is about average when you go to concerts or plays.

Having seen Jersey Boys and Cats on Broadway (we have lived in NJ forever and have been Broadway, NJ, and Phila theater regulars since the 60s) we always enjoy the road show performances of shows we have seen. The performers were good but the overall enjoyment factor is way down due to the woefully inadequate sound system at Mann. The theater itself was comfortable and modern so I dont understand how a sound system could be so poor, especially when considering the theater is within a college campus. I do intend to communicate directly BB Mann regarding their sound system which I hope will improve by next year.

A group of us had tickets to Hamilton at Barbara B. Mann. I have never been impressed with the acoustics at this theater, even after renovations years ago. However I do believe no theater can negatively influence Hamilton! Even in the nosebleed section the performance was wonderful! It is a very clean theater and the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The only thing lacking, which Im sure is a universal complaint, but moreso in this venue, is the number of restrooms. I have never seen a theater such as this with such poor accommodations. While I do not frequent Barbara B. Mann often, for this performance I give it 4 stars.

First time at Barbara B Mann - usually see shows at Artis. Went to see Hamilton. Packed house. Wonderful show and great seats in HH row.Staff was friendly and amazing in all areas. With so many patrons, this could have been a horrible experience but everything was so well organized that the lines through security - and even rest rooms - moved quickly. This review is only for the inside of the venue. I attended the Celtic Woman concert on 28 Feb. I was in the mezzanine and found the seating arrangement to be excellent. The sound and accoustics, however, are a completely different story. What came out of the speakers is like something that came out of a 1960s dilapidated car and needs a complete replacement. The high and midrange speakers are so brash and full of static that I couldnt understand most of the words the group was singing. It might be fine for plays and speeches, but I have to give it a grade of a solid F for music. I hope they upgrade the system soon. No,I do not have any type of hearing impairment.

More handicaps spots are needed. This venue in this location lends itself to a strong senior population.Seats are very comfortable and audio was well balanced. Refreshments were readily available and can be taken into theater. One easily correctable item would be to be sure all personel were informed of the event taking place. Several had no idea this was a complete show (Show Boat) and were telling people it was just the symphony playing music from the show!Would be nice to have a folding cup holder in the seat in front as the slope of the floor can cause cups to roll once empty and placed on the floor.Bathrooms were clean (of course never enough at intermission) but the crowd did clear in plenty of time. The symphony was good but felt theres some room still for improvement, especially in the timing at the intro of a musical number. Our show was very well done by players from the Broadway Palm theater. The ticket price was just a bit high.Overall a great venue. One of the nicest in the area.

The production, what I could see and hear, was great. The venue, Barbara B. Mann, is not worth the money they charge. Hearing devices had run out fifteen minutes before showtime, seats were so far away many were using binoculars to figure out who was singing, we had to sit at an angle so we werent wedged into our seats, we couldnt stretch out legs any amount until intermission causing severe cramping and the parking was a half a mile away.
