This place is cool! I am in visiting from out of town and wish I lived closer. The beer selection is amazing! Their burgers are delicious! And there are games galore.

Love the atmosphere here, the food is good, live music 4 days a week. Everyone welcome.

Terrible customer service! I went to this bar tonight in downtown on Halloween. I usually switch between multiple bags and wallets and I dont prefer driving so I dont always remember my Iicence. When I ordered a drink and a bartender/waitresses asked for my ID. I told her im sorry I honestly forgot it. And she decided it was a good idea to tell me that I am not 21 and that I cant stay and neither can my friends who had already ordered drinks. They had to leave their drinks that they had already payed for in a very disrespect and rude tone of voice. In her situation it is fair to say I cant order drinks and to ask me to leave but she had no right to talk to me in such a way and tell me I am under 21! I would have happily left the bar after dealing with her attitude so my friends could enjoy their drinks instead of wasting their money. And if she had said something in a respectful manner I would have came back with an ID! The waitresses was wearing a superwoman costume. Never coming back to this bar.

Fun place for drinks and snacks. Try them for Taco Tuesday. $2 pork and chicken tacos and $6 margaritas. Ole!

I went to big city tavern and had a great time. Great service, drinks and live music. I ended up losing a gold bracelet from my grandmother who recently passed. I noticed when I got home and called. The manager Kevin looked for it and called me back 20 minutes later that he found it. I got it the next morning. Thank you to the staff and manager Kevin for finding my bracelet and being kind to a distraught customer on the phone very late after they closed!!

This was our 1st time here and it was really cool. The bartender was really nice and the food was really good.

This place is awesome. Great energy. Good music. But biggest asset by far is Meghan! Met her on our first trip in and been back ever since. She has amazing energy, positive, beautiful and very prompt service. Suggested new drinks, snd served my regular with a smile. Nothing but love for this chic. We keep coming back for her!

This establishment is the best bar in downtown Fort Myers. Its stood the test of time and has great food, fun bartenders (that are gorgeous), awesome live music, and an AMI jukebox. Theres also darts, pool, and you can order Jello shots in a syringe with whip cream for your lady friends (or dude friends for a laugh). The inside is an amalgam of brick, wood, and dark flooring with plenty of bathrooms. Go here.

I went on a date there and I loved it. The atmosphere was great in the music was awesome.

Very nice staff, we went for a trivia night, there were a lot of people there who werent playing that were quite loud and it was difficult at times to hear. We had pretzels with beer cheese (okay) and 2 different flatbread pizzas, both very good.

I love their dart boards! One of the last places in town you can actually play darts.

The service was excellent, and the bartender was super accommodating. Gave me the beer I ordered and a shot of something local to try out (which I ordered a glass of as well. Lol). I ordered the Myers Roasted Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious; The weirdest looking bread I ever saw, but it tasted good.The negative was that once the live band started playing, it was almost impossible to talk without screaming. Left with a hoarse voice.

I run a Happy Hour group. Every Wednesday from 5 to 8 we go somewhere different. Last Wednesday I had 55 people at City Tavern for Happy Hour. The food, drinks and service where excellent. The bartender, Megan is not only beautiful but also extremely competent, as was the rest of the staff.

Very nice first time here. Amanda was awesome, food was good, and Amanda recommended a very good alternative to a beer I usually drink. Looking forward to my next visit.

Apparently the food menu has recently changed, my friend was really disappointed... I liked my lunch, but the waitresses attitude was HORRIBLE, she spilled our drinks all over the table and all over our appetizer. The pretzel platter was weird. The cheese didnt taste like anything recognizable and the pretzels were hard. If youre coming to drink and listen to music, then this place is fine... Otherwise, there are way better food options in Downtown Fort Myers. Nothing was picture worthy.

Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon...service from Rebecca was outstanding and so was the food!! First time in but will surely be back. Very clean inside and has an older tavern feel- which I adore! Food was made with fresh ingredients, so it didnt leave you with that blah unsatisfied feeling...we left feeling satisfied and full. Oh, they also have a pool table!! This is a great local establishment that offers great food and great service!

Definitely suggest going there on the weekends. They do bottomless Mimosas from 11 am-4pm and the service is the best.. Lets just say your drink doesnt stay empty. Jacel was our bartender and she was the best.

I don’t understand why they are so overpriced on their drinks. They always have the most expensive bottle/draft beer in the city for honestly no reason. There is no atmosphere there. I would not include this place on a bar crawl. Have not eaten there, but judging by the cleanliness and the way they handle their weekend traffic I would say it’s probably not up to par.

City Tavern is the place to be, friendly bartender, alway sure to make you laugh. Great Happy hour, also other specials through out the day. Great food to keep you fueled. Live music Wednesday - Saturday. This bar is a must!

I like the live music they provide. Reminds me of back home. The drink prices are high but your downtown so you should expect that. Everyone is really fun and cool to be around. This is probably my favorite place to end up. I gave it 4 out of 5 only because of the drink prices. Over all I really enjoy this place and you should definitely check it out.

Wandered into this local bar and was so impressed with the service (Jacell). Very welcoming and quick, friendly service. There is live music at 5:30 on many nights and trivia every Tuesday. There is construction going on across the street but don’t let that deter you!

Cute, quaint bar. Oftentimes, its quiet enough to enjoy yourself without hassle. Live music on the weekends makes it even better

Great sandwiches here and drink specials. No fried food on the premises which I think is a nice change. Sandwiches come with chips, pasta salad or coleslaw. This place will often have live music and they have a pool table. The ambiance is a low light, clean and comfortable bar. The staff is very friendly and they enjoy working there.

Terrible service.. I went to use the restroom and bartender Tabitha dumped my drink. When I asked what happened to my drink she said I needed to let her know if I had to use the restroom. Then she said I had to buy another drink if I wanted one.Male bartender who was the only other one behind the bar refused to look up and ignored the situation.I decided to leave at that point and the other female bartender who had been behind the bar when I went to the restroom was standing outside. She demanded that I pay my bill which I had all ready paid. Unbelievable service!!!!!! Who is in charge of this restaurant??...

Great local pub... awesome Halloween

Came here to see live music on a Friday night. It was lots of fun. Nexx Level band is one of my favorite bands to see when Im in Ft. Myers. The bartender was the sweetest! I ordered a drink called Butter Beer (butterscotch liqueur, ginger beer, [cant remember what else]). The drink was okay, I didnt finish it. I did not eat any of the food as they has no gluten free options.

Nice place to have a beer, listen music and play a pool. Regarding food, super short menu but we really good sanchwiches (innovating out of usual ones) and a couple of salads. Additionally has a few sharebles. Salads are well prepared and sandwiches among them the cubano are delicious.Service is above standard, very kind and always available despite the size of the place!

My favorite bar in Downtown Fort Myers! The bartenders are awesome and I love the atmosphere. And the jalapeño popper dip is AMAZING. Overall, a great bar if you like casual, laid back, and a place full of regulars. 10/10 would recommend.
