The Forest is a great club! We joined five years ago so we could play golf walking. Two beautiful 18 hole walk-able courses means we get tee times as often as we like and often on short notice. The friendly (family like) staff and membership, Bocce League, dining experience and social events have been a huge bonus.

As a 20 year member there has never been a question that my wife and I made the right choice when we joined. The membership has always been friendly and the opportunity to play golf on two great golf courses is one thing that is essential. With so many groups available to join we can each play multiple times each week with competitive golfers. Living the dream!

My husband and I have been members for 26 years. We are fortunate to have friendly members of all ages. Its wonderful having two championship golf courses, and the remodeling project of the clubhouse was an amazing success!

I just wanted to thank all the staff at Forest for making me as if I was an actual member of their club when I played there on Saturday. I am a member of Cypress and because our club was closed they allowed me to play there. The course was in amazing condition. I could tell from the condition of the greens ( no ball marks) that the members take pride in there course. I was part of the 8:30 shotgun start and was paired up with a member, Rich C. He was very patient as he helped me to navigate the course. He bragged so much about the new clubhouse and facility that I had to see it for my self. He invited me to join him for lunch and a tour. Rich even bought my lunch, telling me that my money was no good there. What a class act. I would suggest this course and facility to anyone. Currently i am a snow bird but will definitely consider transferring my membership when we establish residence in Florida.Thanks again

Went to dinner twice here.First night was nice. Valentine’s Day, busy, but understandable. Until my surf and turf lobster tail came out of the kitchen raw- completely uncooked. Other than that the food was pretty good.Second night was a mess. Waited 1:30 for dinner, and the salads and appetizers came out at the same time as the entrees. Asked for no bleu cheese on my salad, came with my custom ordered dressing but with chunks of bleu cheese. Mussels were very good.Overall 3 stars instead of 2 because the service was fantastic. Waitress Martha was doing her absolute best and it was the kitchen that brought the restaurant down to 2 stars.

Very nice place its always clean and friendly .The clubhouse always has something fun going on for its members.The food is always great and fresh. The pro shop has a great selection of sporting outfits and much more for the Golf course .

Had a wonderful time! The dueling Pianos had the crowd out of their seats dancing. A great time was had by all.

We joined The Forest 12 years ago for the ability to get on a course whenever we wanted, little did I know how important having 2 courses was. Over that time have developed great relationships and a much better golf game. I just got a preview of the new clubhouse opening shortly, and all I can say is WOW! It is amazing. Wonderful view from the new fitness center overlooking the putting green/course. Not to mention that the courses are in the best shape that I can remember. Staff is always accommodating, and the membership is the friendliest! Love this place.

The Forest Country Club reminds me of the old sitcom, Cheers.In the sense that everyone is friendly. If you go alone, you wont be for long. Its a real community feel.

A golf course that you will fall in love with and want to stay at all day. Beautifully kept courses.

I went there for a Holiday Business luncheon and it was under the tent. I was very impressed that they had a bar set up and food was hot and plentiful. They had plenty of waitstaff to keep over 100 people happy. I was impressed that with it being held outside they gave us service as we were inside the clubhouse.

The Forest put on a wonderful Thanksgiving giving dinner. The food was great and the tables were set wonderful.

Went for open house. Nice golf course. Homes are very nice.

I had a guest reciprocal from someone I know that lives on Olde Hickory and I think course conditions were good, but I just wasnt a fan of the Bear course. To me its a course you have to know where you can miss it at. Sometimes I thought well Im okay and then you get up there hazards or ponds were there. Just a different style layout but the club house was phenomenal. The biggest I have ever seen. Driving range not the best due to you could not hit anything over 235 yards. But overall not bad just not my favorite golf course I played in the Fort Myers area.

Had an event held at this County Club with the worst weather ever, under a huge tent for all of our guests. The staff at the Forest was excellent, the service was impeccable, and the food was so amazing. Our guests were so pleased even with the rainy weather. The staff made eveything about the event for us so stress free and everyone had a great time.

There are so many activities to fill your days and if you have an idea for a group we havent started yet, even better! We are always looking to make your club experience the best it can be.

2 excellent courses -- you dont really know how important this is until you experience it for a while. Welcoming good people -- we always say that 9 out of 10 could probably buy and sell us several times over - but you would never know it on the first tee. No mountain of marble, but very nice and comfortable facilities, regularly improved without endless assessments. Financially sound. Closer to more local amenities than most. Variety of homes on grounds from estate-lot detached homes to modest condos. Havent been to a club I would rather be at.

My husband and I have been members for just 2 years. It has been 2 of the best years!!! We immediately felt welcome by the entire community. Dining at The Forest is terrific too. You can have a casual meal or something quite upscale. I would recommend anyone interested in a SW Florida gated community to come and check it out. You will be glad that you did!!!!

This is a beautiful community with some very nice and unique homes. I appreciate beauty in the form of construction its an art form that I grew up appreciating with family.

I have been a member of The Forest County Club since 2004. I have often told my family and friends that it is the best decision that I have ever made.1. The facilities are warm, tasteful and welcoming.2. The two golf courses are among the best in SW Floriida3. The staff are friendly, courteous, professional and engaged4. The food is terrific!5. The members are very friendly6 The members are real down to earth, successful and comfortable with themselves.7. The club finances are strong8. The membership and fees are very competitive and much lower than one would expect for such a first class club.

Im a new member, but from the first day felt like a long-time member. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly! No problem joining groups to play the wonderful 2 courses, or having new friends to dine and socialize with. I absolutely found a new home at The Forest!!

My wife and I joined in 2005. One of the best decisions we have made. We like the group sign ups that made it so easy to meet people. There is a group that will fit your game or social situation Im sure. The Forest has two great golf courses that are member owned. Both recently updated to USGA standards. My wife and I have made life long friends since we have joined. We chose to live off property because we like to live on the water and boat.

Ive been a member for past 4 years and while i like the two courses, this place is a rip off in terms of fees/dues. Assessments are about 30-40% on top of the dues they show you, plus gratuities and minimums, expect to pay 15k per year before you even show up. I resigned this year but they came out with yet another over-ride assessment beyond the 2k i already paid for the clubhouse reno with another 2k additiinal for the clubhouse, and yet even though i had resigned, i had to pay 2k because i want officially out until Dec 31...are you kidding me? No additional vote, just pay up even though it is for future years. They have an elderly membership and are losing members like crazy, lots of outside public play for allegedly a private club. Leaving to go to Bonita Bay naples, half the price on annual dues after initiation, twice the courses. I cant recommend the Forest even though the courses are not bad, value for money is far below what the local market can offer.

We were lucky enough to find The Forest after looking at lots of places in SW FL. Why do we love it? The people are so friendly & fun...two really good golf courses (we dont get bored, and can always get on when we want)...the parties are fun...the food is reliably good...the atmosphere is casual and relaxed...and its convenient to RSW (perfect for traveling, and for meeting guests). Several of our friends, after coming to visit us, liked it so much that theyve joined too!

The course is always in fantastic condition with wide open tee times on both courses. The staff and members are friendly and welcoming and the food is excellent. You really cant beat this Club for the money in this area!

We love the unique lifestyle it offers, the two championship golf courses, tennis, large new fitness center, clubs for every recreation. fantastic events year round, Excellent, professional staff, genuine.. Multiple dining styles, both formal and casual (great BIG dance floor). Our family has hosted private events at the club with great success. After four years, as full time residents, it just keeps getting better, and more fun!

My wife and had our wedding reception here. I would do it again and recommend it to my friends and family. I will never forget looking out those huge windows, at the beautiful sunset over the golf course.

I have been a member for 10+years. My retirement has been the best since moving to the forest because of the forest. Wonderful golf. friends and so many activities for every one. Golf,tennis,cards, bocce, wonderful dining, and so much more to keep one as busy as they like.

I just came to see a client at the club and one of the security guard Mrs Neil didnt let me in because I had a different accent!! Can u imagine!? She told me she called the owner 3 times but no body answer. I had to wait outside for the owner. Is this the kind is people u hire!? Unprofessional and racist employees.
