Nice beach. Shallow water, tiny waves good for parents with small kids. Very close to fishing pier and small shops and restaurants.

I visited this beach several times. It has tourist vibes, due to the colors of the buildings, restaurants, gifts shops, bars etc. The parking is not expensive, only $2 per hour at this particular location. Other parking lots may charge more. There is always an easy access to food, drinks, desert, music and sometimes free entertainment. The beach has also access to showers and bathrooms. The waters are shallow and the sand is very fine. I highly recommend this beach if you’re visiting Fort Myers.

Beautiful beach with tons of shops. Houses look like the bright and colorful miami art deco district. Kid friendly because there are absolutely NO waves. Saw some jellyfish out at the end of the pier. You can rent poles and fish off the pier.

Terrific public beach and park. A bit crowded for a weekday but manangable. The pier is enjoyable. Lots of room to walk the beach and lay out. Super hot so definitely bring a lot of beverages.

Our favorite spot to visit Ft Myers Beach. Lovely place with wonderful facilities. Very family friendly. Great pizza restaurant and ice cream shop nearby.

I fell in love with Fort Myers Beach the first time I laid eyes on it. There was just that certain something that made it feel like home. Its charming and quaint, not overly touristy. Its the perfect paradise for a family vacation or a romantic getaway.

Very nice beach. Lots of cool shops and restaurants. Clean public restrooms. A nice size crowd but people were social distancing and respecting one anothers space.

Beautiful beaches! We went early Sunday morning and we were impressed about the cleanness, the stores, and how far out in the water you can walk out without any issues. Two things that I can recommend, parking might be tough, there is free parking a little off San Carlos, you can pay by plate, or pay a set price for the day. Second, there are no life guards so keep an eye out for the kiddos. There are showers, bathrooms, and changing rooms.

Oh how I miss this place... I have been in Arkansas since 2000 and have to go to the beach when I come home for a visit..... the restaurants people places to shop are just the tip of enjoyment to be had... Ft.Myers will always be my home......

Great place for parking in FMB. Its cheaper than on-street! Easy access to the stores and restaurants, large parking lot, and restrooms.

This was my favorite beach while visiting Sanibel because of the soft sugar sand. Soft but compact and easy to walk. The tide was low exposing lots of shells and fragments. Found a few good rare shells. Great to catch the sunset also. A little crowded, shops and restaurants nearby.

It is nice park. The problem is there are religious people with megaphones, screaming and everyone, calling them sinners and telling them theyre going to hell. My understanding is that this Christian group has a YouTube channel and uses the content from the beach to play on there channel.

Clean, easy to access, plenty of food options and a bathroom.

The town nearby is what makes it a great location, the water itself is dark compared to most beaches and it can be crowded. Has access to a pier though.

Great beach for sunning, people watching,or just hanging out. Parking always a little tough, but there is overflow about two blocks down. Clean restrooms and changing facilities. Several restaurants to choose from and some nicer gift shops. Beach shops close by.

Arrive early as the parking lot fills up fast. Easy to get to from the major roadway. Nice, clean restrooms and a short walk to the beach. Parking isn’t expensive like some areas. Several nice statues to see/take photos with. Beach is large and very clean. Certainly a nice spot to pick if you want to go to the beach.

Love this beach. No snowbirds this time of year, the water is hot, many options for food, you can rent stuff and or go fishing and the shops to buy stuff are nice. My kind of beach.

Great place to spend the morning! Parking can be a bit tricky, but once you find a spot, youre all set. It wasnt too crowded, and the weather was delightful. However....do not think that just because you are in Florida, and that is the Gulf of Mexico, that the water is warm....our toes got quite the shock! (but they adjusted) The showers are a nice touch to keep sand from piling up in your car, and the pier offered a pleasant stroll.

Started out nice this afternoon then we all had to run off the beach with a sand rainstorm within seconds everything was flying....

Great Beach that goes on for miles in either direction.bathrooms are in good shape and plenty of them at the central location otherwise theres no public bathrooms further up or down the beach. Parking is a little bit tricky.. if you get there early you take two immediate rights off the bridge and theres some parking there. in addition there is some parking right near the bathrooms but its limited and fills up quick ie before 10. Should you get there after 10 a.m. during peak season youll need to take a right at the bottom of the bridge and go for one block and youll see parking available on the right side. Otherwise fantastic beach with plenty of water activities available as well as excellent restaurants within walking distance.

Ocean views and good eats are just around the corner. Make sure to stop by at night for music and entertainment the whole family can enjoy!

Very beautiful sand and water, ths beach does get a little crowded and there is very limited parking which you have to pay for per hour which knocks off a star. However the water in early March when I was there was absolutely perfect temperature and very pretty.

Dont waste your time! Didnt even step on the beach. The island has nowhere near enough parking. Over half an hour to get across the bridge, 40 minutes to discover all the parking is full and another 20 minutes to get back to the bridge. Terrible way to waste 90 minutes!!Headed to Sanibel- great beach, lots of parking, Blue Giraffe was great!

Busy in winter especially during school breaks in Feb and Mar. Nice views and great beach to walk on. Coral sand is hard to walk on barefoot so bring beach sandals.Nice place to experience sunset and full moon rise within minutes of each other on opposite sides of the horizon. Lots of active sea life to see along the pier. Bring camera.

Very nice beach and a great fishing peer, just step from the shop and restaurants in Fort Myers Beach into the beach, beautiful for sunset pictures. If you go very early in the morning you can see a wide variety of sea birds including fishing eagles. Theres also a solitary dolphin that visits the peer at dawn and dust.

Lots of space for the family. While there are restaurants just a couple of blocks away, this is a great place to eat a packed meal or grill out if youve got a bunch of munchkins.

Had to make a trip out here daring hurricane season and this beach was beautiful calm waves Fort Myers Beach area is worth checking out

The water is a little murky (some days are better than others), but the beach is nice. Theres a lot to around here. Lots of shops, live music, and restaurants. Parking can be a tough though. You can park right next ti the beach, but they charge by the hour. If you drive a couple blocks in, Ive seen parking as low as $5 for the day.

Very nice beach. Soft white sand, close to restrooms and near some restaurants. A short walk. Only problem was seaweed getting into the ocean. Great family beach. Quiet place near the Pier.

This beach park has all kinds of sights and sounds. The ocean is very plentiful with rising waves by the shore. Parking can be heinous at times, usually during the after noons. Its a great place to stay on your vacation, and I highly recommend it!

If you ñike to collect Shark teeth, go for it. Nice environment only thing I did not like was thw strong waves... And you must wereproper shoes to go in the water.

I always enjoy getting a few hours a week in at the beach and this one is not overly crowded. Be aware, however, that sunset brings every tourist to the waters edge for that perfect selfie. Not that I blame them .
