Captain Steve was an awesome guide for the Estero Bay! He showed us some of the local rookeries, explained the mangrove islands and the ecosystem it houses, and yes we even got to see the dolphins as they played in our wake. This tour is definitely worth the time and money and we will definitely check them out in our future trips!

We had the absolute best time! We did the 9am-noon shelling and dolphin tour. I HIGHLY recommend it! We saw many dolphins, these were just the two I managed to catch a photo of! It was such a cool experience. Our captain Steve was excellent and made sure to point out wildlife for us to see. Zach was also on board as a tour guide and he had so much knowledge about different sea life and shells. He takes time to sit down with you and explain it which is really neat! You take a ride out to Big Hickory Island where you get to collect as many shells as you want and there are a TON, so bring a bag. The cost of this tour was $40 per person and it was absolutely worth every penny. Be sure to check them out!

The boat crew is very informative about birds and other other wildlife. You are guaranteed to find a few good shells and see dolphins jumping in the wake of the boat. Weve done this trip two times and have been very happy both times.

My friends and I did the sunset cruise with captain Gale. He was delightful company and very knowledgeable about the local wildlife. We saw dolphins that swam along behind our boat.

Great family time! We had 7 in our group and 28 on the boat. Very enjoyable. Boat was super smooth and the captain even raised the nose to minimize the spray. 1 hour on big hickory island for shelling. Beautiful place. Dolphins waited til the ride home to play in the wake.

Could not have been better! Captain and mate did a great job of finding a LOT of dolphins for us which followed the boat leaping in the wake. . Just the right amount of interesting info and facts and a gorgeous sunset all in 90 min. Highly recommend.

Took their 3 hour shelling and sunset cruise with Captain Gale and biologist Kelsey. This was a marvellous trip. 20 minutes into the bay and she spotted dolphins. The 3 were very playful and followed the wake for some time. Got amazing pics! Kelsey had lots of info about birding and the ocean. Captain Gale made sure we saw cool birds on the island with his slow trolling. It was a beautiful sunset on this great cruise. You have to do it!

Amazing sunset dolphin cruise. The staff was wonderful. We had a cpt and a marine biologist on board. Very knowledgeable, tons of wildlife and an amazing sunset. Would give 6 stars if I could. Bring a cooler with your favorite beverage :)

This is THE BEST value in town for Dolphin sight seeing. The boat captain and wildlife expert were courteous, safe, and very knowledgeable, they made finding Dolphins and other wildlife look easy. We took the sunset cruise and not only did we see the sunset and Dolphins but we also saw 4 other species of birds. The photo is a screen shot of a video I took, the Dolphins LOVE to ride the wake behind the boat so I suggest you get there early and board first.

We had a great time. Laura and the captain (sorry I forgot his name) were great. We saw dolphins and manatees and lots of birds. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Our daughters came down to visit and we wanted to do something fun. We had a great time with the wonderful people at Good Time Charters. Very knowledgeable and a lot of fun to be with. We got to see dolphins, an abundance of birds and even a manatee. Had fun while shelling and got some really nice shells. I highly recommend GTC. Next time well do the sunset cruise.

Awesome experience, Ty and Laura were the best so knowledgeable and friendly. They know exactly what they are doing and how to get the best experience possible. Wish there was a way to do another tour before we left but rightfully so they are booked solid (for the sunset tour at least) for the next week!

For adults and older children, this is a great tour. We saw several birds and dolphins. I brought a 1 and 4 year old on the morning tour and was uncomfortable that life jackets weren’t required on the dock or in the boat. Life jackets are under the seats and I tried to pull one out for my kids and the captain gave me a hard time about it and said it’s not needed. I was asked to sit back down and my kids did not have jackets on this tour. The captain did great operating the boat but I’d prefer to have the jackets on my kids just in case something happened outside our control.

Extraordinary experience! The captain knew exactly where to look for dolphins. We went on the dolphin/wildlife tour that was about an hour and a half long. Saw dolphins and sting rays within five minutes. Learned a lot about the wildlife in Southwest Florida too! Towards the end of the tour, the captain was able to get three dolphins swimming in the wake behind the boat for about twenty minutes. It was breathtaking! Worth every penny, highly recommended.

Going out for the Dolphin and Shelling tour was an activity that we did every time we would vacation in Ft. Myers. Now that we live here it is something that we take all our visiting family and friends on. Captain Ty is always fun to talk to and has a ton of information about the local waterways. Zach is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to local wild life, nesting habits and the local eco systems. Even though we have been on at least 15 of these tours we always learn something new. Well worth the time and money!

We went out with Capt. Ryan and and Laura on dolphin and site seeing tour in afternoon. Overcast day, but saw birds, Manatee and some dolphins. Very relaxing and enjoyable with knowledgeable Capt. and naturalist. Its always great to get out on the water.

Loved the sunset tour with a whole hour to shell on an empty island at the edge of the Gulf. Captain Ty will ensure your safety with his professionalism and deft navigation. Zach is an enthusiastic, knowledgeable curator of all things regarding the FL Gulf area environment. Birds...and dolphins jumping in our wake! We enjoyed dinner and drinks at the harbor bistro...wonderful ending to a sweet trip.

Fifth time out with Captain Mike on half day fishing charter. Highly recommend going even if you dont like to fish. Never disappointed and we always catch a ton of fish.

Really nice sunset cruise. Only complaint was they tell you to arrive 30 minutes early, but no one greets you until about ten minutes before you sail. Not a big deal though. Cruise was fun and even informational. We took many great pics and videos, and the crew was great.

Had an awesome time. Saw a bunch of dolphins and went shell hunting. The guide seemed very knowledgable on local plants and animals. The dolphins chased and played with the boats wake for a good while.

We saw a couple of dolphins but they didnt stay by them for very long...they said we had to keep on moving. Would have been nice if they had spent a little longer by the only 2 dolphins we all saw. The crew was nice and knowledgeable. But they also kept having people move back from the front to cut back on water spray...why have seats in the front if they dont want anyone sitting there?

We took the tour this morning. The guides were great. We saw dolphins jumping in the wake of the boat in the first 30 minutes. The beach stop was nice. Just long enough for my granddaughter to find plenty of shells. I would definitely recommend Good Time Charters!

This place DID NOT disappoint, at all. My boyfriend’s family booked a fishing trip with Captain Mike and first of all, he’s a very sociable, helpful, humorous, and knowledgeable in fishing (obviously since he’s been doing it for 16 years). He knows all the hotspots and I can’t even keep count as to how many Spanish Mackerels we caught, literally every minute we were able to catch a fish. Seems like you’re almost guaranteed to catch something so it’s awesome!We also booked a dolphin trip at sunset and it was amazing! We spotted the dolphins within minutes after getting out under the bridge. There were at least 4 of them just riding the wake. They were so close I got sprayed by one of them! I recommend sitting in the back of the boat since the action is mostly taken place there but you’ll still get a great view in the middle or front.I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and would come back!

Awesome time seeing dolphins and shelling on 1/22/19. Captain Steve with Zachary did an excellent job explaining the area with the extreme low tide we got to see even more like clam pods, and bottoms of sailboats sitting on the ground. Steve got the dolphins to jump through the wake multiple times on the way to the island and back. The island was neat with all the shells and sand dollars. One family picked up around fifty sand dollars from the beach. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Had a blast and Captain Mike put us on fish both times we went out! He also showed us some awesome tricks with dolphins even though we were out on the fishing charter! 10/10 would go out on his boat again!

This dolphin/wildlife tour was great! We had so much fun cruising on the boat through Estero Bay (21 people on board). The tour was an hour and a half. We saw many dolphins and the captains knew exactly how to get the dolphins to put on a show for us! We even got to see a baby dolphin with its mama going for a swim. The captains had a lot of knowledge about Estero Bay, including the trees, the man-made islands, the birds, and explaining the history of the area and how it has transformed over the last 50 years. I really enjoyed the tour, although it was chilly in January so I would recommend bringing along a jacket, sweatshirt or blanket. Also, since I didn’t know, you do not have to pay to park there! That would’ve been helpful to know as my husband and I parked 2 miles down the road and ended up taking a Lyft there through all the construction. Definitely recommend this tour! :)

Our guide Laura was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and habitats. We took a Sunset Dolphin Cruise last night with Good Time Charters. Making reservations and payment online was super easy and their emailed instruction sheets had all the information necessary suggesting we leave early as traffic can be a bear; for ease of parking and other detailed information. Driving to the dock was a hike, but a lovely drive.The cruise itself was awesome, as was the crew. They took their time to get us to the Gulf showing us various wildlife areas along the way, and as promised, we had a Mommy Dolphin and her baby playing in the wake of the boat motor.The sunset was as beautiful as it always is on a clear night, and the ride back to the dock was the most perfect moonlit venture weve experienced in a very long time!We definitely recommend Good Time Charters!

Sunset Dolphin cruise was everything I could ask for.

Highly recommended. We had Captain Steve who was fabulous and went out of his way to see many dolphins and wildlife. We thought 1 1/2 hours wouldn’t be long enough but it was perfect. He was excellent plus his female assistant to answer many questions about wildlife plus the area.

The trip was very slow... It was almost like the guide was stalling... We did see some dolfins up very close but that was about 10 minutes of the tour... Dissatisfied with the amount we paid and what we got...

Unless you are able to sit on the outside edge of the boat, you cant see a thing. The hosts talked among themselves more than gave a tour.

Not much to say but do it!Weve been on the dolphin cruise two years in a row. First year we saw a lot of dolphins jumping in the wakes from the boat, this year not. But we did see the dolphins, they just didnt wanted to play. This isnt the staffs fault.Capt. Gayle (which also was our capt. last year) and the sea biologist that tells about the area and animals are just great.

We booked a charter with captain Mike back in december on my birthday. My two boys, my father and my sister. My boys love fishing being 4 and 8 but my dad is not a fishing guy. The trip was so enjoyable and captain mike was so great, my Dad said he would not hesitate to do it again. We didnt get into all the species of fish captain mike was hoping for, however with that said there was no shortage of action. It was great time and when we return to Ft. Myers in the fall of 2019 we will be booking another trip with Captain Mike.Beau Breunig

Had a great time with my family on the fishing trip with Cpt Mike. Boat layout was open so even with five of us we had plenty of casting room on the deck. Mike was attentive and responsive to our every need. We all caught a variety of fish. Fun trip.

Went on the 3 hour shelling and dolphin tour with Captain Gale and First Mate Laura. This was my first time on any kind of a charter, and my hope was to get some great pictures of the dolphins - thankfully, I was not disappointed! The tour was informative and fun for both kids and adults. We got to watch the dolphins play and jump in the boats wake and stopped at a bird rookery along the way to the shelling island. The shells we collected were fantastic. We saw a group of cownose ray on the way back, and saw two dolphins hunting as well. My only advise to others is to leave in plenty of time to get to the marina, as the traffic on the main stretch of Ft. Myers Beach is almost always crazy-busy with the weather is nice. Overall, this was a fantastic experience at a great price and I hope to come back again when revisiting Florida!

Took the AM dolphin and shelling cruise. Me, my husband, my sister and my boys (7 & 9). Capt. STEVE and 1st mate RYAN were awesome. Pontoon style boat so it was cool and comfortable. The shelling island was amazing, we brought home many beautiful intact shells and there were tons of starfish!Saw tons of dolphins and a few manatees. The sanctuary area with the birds are gorgeous - yltake a good camera!We packed a small bag of snacks and a mini cooler with PB sandwiches and some drinks - enjoyed them on the way back to the marina.Thank you for a great experience, would definitely take this cruise again or another with Good Time Charters!

The boats seating is terrible you are not facing the water. Hard to get a good view and seats have no cushion. You just go around the boat docks and see birds. Saw three Dolphins far away. Went on previous Dolphin cruise in clearwater that made this one look like a very bad cruise. Should call this a bird cruise and not a Dolphin cruise. Big waste of your time and money. I nevet write review but felt like people should be aware.

I HAD A GREAT TIME !!!! seriously the highlight of my trip to Fort Myers. The dolphins were the cutest and the Captain Dan and first mate Laury (i think that was her name) were wonderful! They really knew what they were doing and they had great music in the background. I would highly recommend you get what you pay for honestly a wonderful time.

I have done both the sunset and dolphin tours two years in a row and had the same captain, Steve. I would never come to Fort Myers beach without doing at least one of them. His assistant Andrea was a bonus. I would give this more than five stars.
