The best place to go for jet ski rental. I highly recommend the hour and a half tour. We went around 3 pm and saw more dolphins up close than I could have wanted. Nick, our tour guide, was very patient, knowledgeable and friendly. He always made sure we were having fun and that we knew where to look for wildlife. Definitely a must if you are visiting Fort Meyers beach.

The gentleman running the stand and jet skis was amazing. He was handling everyone and everything on his own as well as retaining the patience of a saint. He is also knowledgeable and experienced with the equipment, beach, and even emergencies. My friend was stung in her heel by a stingray and he calmly gave us the exact same instructions that EMS also followed. For a guy baking in the sun all day he was awesome and courteous and I would definitely come back again.

I don’t know if this place has gotten new owners or why any bad reviews because we had the best experience I think could’ve been possible. The staff was the friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us an amazing deal! Would HIGHLY recommend!! Don’t let the negative reviews not give them a try.

We had 3 families vacationing with kids from 13-16. We did 3 tours with Action Water Sports.Some of us rented jet skis. It was awesome and they made it easy to get started. (All of us were novices to somewhat experienced)We also did the Dolphin tour. It was really cool but recommendation is to not do 3 on a jet ski (it was tippy and my wife wanted to go back. Chase our guide was awesome and the group waited. 2 to a ski or 1 works out great. Saw a bunch of Dolphins but the best part for me was riding and exploring kind of a rough ride getting there though)Some of the group went para-sailing and all loved it! From 13 to 43, all loved it.Chase was our guide for most and we couldnt be more pleased. The bad reviews (as I always read reviews) seem to be about jet ski equipment failure and were from 8+ months ago. No issues and I think they have newer jet skis now

Based on the mixed reviews, I wasnt sure what to expect of the dolphin tours that were offered here. I arrived with the mentality that the tour was not going to be great at all and boy was I proven wrong.I rented two wave runners for my family of 4. One obviously went faster than the other, but I did not mind a single bit. I was placed on the slower wave runner and I was able to see more because of it. The tour guide knew where the dolphins, manatees, eagle rays, and even a manta ray were. We saw SO MUCH wildlife that we were in shock. The only thing I regret from this tour is that I didnt budget for a second one!Action Water Sports may have had malfunctions with their wave runners in the past, but they were fixed when we went on our tour. Additionally, we scheduled a tour on a Thursday to escape the crowds and prevent the overbooking problems. Plan this tour early on your vacation and I hope your experience is the same as mine. I will never forget the patient service we received as we were trying to find them on the beach and the fun we all had. Thank you so much Action Water Sports!!!

We had a truly incredible time on the water with our tour guide. He was kind and made sure we did not leave without seeing dolphins up close. Wish we had gotten his name for this review! The equipment is also very nice and maintained.But sadly the woman in charge of reservations / booking is a real grinch. She was verbally abusive with our family. This was the first vacation we have gotten to take in a year and her rude behavior and comments really upset us all. She used very explicit language with children. She said we had showed up late, but we arrived at the time she had told us. I feel bad for the awesome young men working there dealing with that awful woman all day.Tip the tour guide directly. I am sure that witch is screwing them out of pay!

THE best place to rent jet skis! Theres a much larger area you can ride around in to your hearts content, great deal with the Groupon, and the attendant, Sebastian, was phenomenal! Super knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and made the whole experience that much better! He was hustling around moving jet skis and dealing with (some rude) patrons all while still being cool and polite. If theres any way to give this guy a promotion, please recommend him for it! He deserves it.Also, Tina was rather cordial and nice with me. She honored the Groupon price without my purchase of it, and she helped me out with the deal. No complaints here!

Took my 13yr old son parasailing and we had an absolute blast!!!! Totally worth the cost they even offered a picture package of the experience over 40 pics on an SD card for a small extra charge. Very nice people sociable and friendly definately a company I would use again and again.

Had a blast! Eddie was awesome. He was super patient with me. Turning 31 sucks, but atleast I can say we did something exciting! I highly recommend Eddie to anyone- especially first timers! My husband and I couldnt be happier!

The worst customer service ever!!! I tried to make a reservation in October and they didnt even pick up or return the call...I tried again in January before it expired and they still wouldnt accommodate me. Dont waste your Groupon on this place; its a waste of money...Not being to make a reservation between October and January is ridiculous!!!

My dad rented 2 skis for 3 of us. they overbooked and bumped us to the next day. the next day they over booked again and my mom volunteered to not go. they sent the guide out on a ski that overheats and guess what it overheated before we got very far. we went back since there were 2 groups on the other 4 skis. we got our money back but still didnt get to go. last year they didnt have a guide for the group. last trip with these guys. FYI owners...treat it as a job not a side business! If i could give these guys negative stars I would. Find another place to go jet skiing because it would probably be better.

I had no experience with Groupon nor did I have to deal with any customer service issues. We went out with our tour guide Nick on the dolphin tour and it was one of my top five vacation experiences ever. Nick was extremely knowledgeable about the bay and where to look for wildlife. We saw so many dolphins, even ones that were feeding.If you are looking for a good time, hop on over to action water sports just outside of Junkanoo and do the dolphin tour.

We did the Dolphin Jetski tour. We have seen dolphins and had enough time to ride the jetskis alone before and after the tour. The tour and the guide was great !

Horrible customer service. Worker was yelling at someone on the phone right in front of us. They also said we had to wait 2 days to make a reservation even though there were st least 6 unused wave runners out front. I wouldnt give them your money. Rude and inconvenient.

A great ride on newer equipment. The day was booked, but they made time at the end of the day for us. Instead of closing up, they put us on a couple watercraft. Talked with Chris for awhile. Very friendly. Treated well from all the employees.

If youve never ridin one you should try, I was skeptical on the price at first, 5 minutes in i found it to be 100% worth it. Also Nick was very accommodating, and just a nice guy all around.

I bought a Groupon to use for a jet ski. I tried to book with this company multiple times, but the times I could go (weekends) were booked every time I called.The Groupon specifically says if you book a reservation before the expiration date, they must honor the Groupon. I tried to book a future date (before the Groupon expired) and the woman I spoke with on the phone says it doesnt work that way.I wouldve thought that some business is better than no business, and I most likely would have been a repeat customer. I got a refund from Groupon, Ill take my money elsewhere.

Horrible communication between owner and workers. She told me on the phone she would honor the groupon price when I went to rent a jet ski. Made an appointment at the hut, came back 2 hours later for my appointment, and then they couldnt honor the price because I never called her and made an appointment... She never told me to call her back to make an appointment. Wasted an entire morning going back and forth.

Worse experience poor communication between the owner and one of the workers. We purchased a Groupon and it was for an hour and then we were told to return them within 40 minutes. We were told we could switch passengers by the owners but then the man (worker) said no and made them get off. We were told we had to pay $10 for additional person and $3 for a test which is 13 but we were charged $19 doesnt make any sense. The test was only for the driver and we had two drivers and one passenger but one of my daughters already had taken the test so she didnt need to do it again. So I was told over the phone it was going to be $13 total but then when we got thee we paid $19??? That was on top of the Groupon which was $101.Completely unsatisfied.

I was yelled at and called a liar by Tina Tomasino.I purchased Groupon tickets for 2 Waverunner rentals for myself and my friend who is visiting from Illinois, but due to hurricane Irma, the reservations were understandably canceled due to Ft. Myers Beach requesting all property be removed off of the beach... I get it.I got in contact with Groupon who then got in contact with the Action Water Sports. I received and Email from Tina asking for me to call her. I spoke with Tina and told her what Groupon told me. She would not let me finish speaking and told me that it would HAVE to go through Groupon; she couldnt refund the money for the unused rentals. I was trying to explain the situation again, but she wouldnt let me speak. I asked her to stop for a second so I could speak. At this point, Tina began to YELL at me, the customer, telling me that I didnt understand what shes going through with the hurricane dispite me having lived in FL and IL for years having experienced total destruction from Tornadoes. She continued to yell at me while repeating herself, the hung up on me. Tina then sent me an extremely rude email saying that my irrational behavior is unacceptable, and reminded me again of the hurricane and apologized that it did not fall into your plansShe then told me that I yelled at her and that I needed to take it up with Groupon, despite Groupon already contacting her and having her contact me.I called Tina back and she immediately began to yell at me again while calling me a liar, and told me that I didnt understand what I was going through, and that she didnt have time to worry about a refund. I was not requesting a refund to happen at that second and I would have been completely fine with her contacting me and telling me that she needs to prepare for the storm and then work out the situation at another time. I also live in Ft. Myers and am preparing for the storm. Tina stated that if I wrote a negative review, it would not be published as she would not approve the Review. That defeats the purpose, does it not?PLEASE beware. You can get the same experience on the same beach for the same amount by employees that will not yell and belittle the customer.

Jet ski rental was awesome, new two seater bpr was lots of fun. Would highly recommend. Make sure to do the boatUS class thing before renting if you are under 25.

Almost drowned my family. rude and would not give out a life jacket to a 5 year old boy to swim out to the boat.

My family and I rented a house on ft myers beach fairly close to junkanoo for 3 months this summer. For the past 3 weekends I have rented a jetski, paddleboard, chairs and umbrellas from this company. However today my friend and her son came and stayed the weekend so we went to the beach by junkanoo and attempted to rent two jetskis for an hour. The two men working told us that they had two jetskis booked and the 3 green jetskis were not insured so they could not rent them. We said fine and spent the day at the beach approximately 2 hours later a group of 6 men rented all 3 of the green jetskis. My friend and I are 24 so I have no idea why they wouldnt rent us two of the jetskis that were not in use unless they were to lazy to put them in the water for just two people but were willing too for a group of 6. I am disappointed in this business and will happily take my business to another location on fort Myers for the rest of my summer.

We booked a Dolphin Waverunner Tour for 2 people (1 waverunner) for 111$.First 20 minutes were nice. We were riding at fast speed along the beautiful beaches. But then the waverunner of our guide had a mulfunction. The rest of the tour we had a ride at 7 mph, because we need to tie the guides waverunner to ours and tow him back to the beach. We did not get any refund or similar! Never book these fraudsters again!
