Relatively Modern Yacht club, good facilities

We were guests of a member of the Yacht club, part of a large group at the restaurant. The service was very courteous, and the food quite good. (The service was a little slow, I think not quite prepared for so large a group.)

I visited as a guest of a friend. I believe it is a private members only club. The service and add staff were outstanding. The meal I had was unique and delightful. If you get a chance to go there, dont miss it.

A nice club right on the intercoastal. It has very good views.the food is good and the staff is very nice. They have some fun entertainment for kids. There is valet parking.

I recently contacted the Lauderdale Yacht Club to offer services for Window Tinting for Vessels with Marine Grade Approved film by the U.S Coast Guard for the Boat Captains and members alike. I was blocked and deleted from the group here on Facebook for trying to network with a team of professionals to help offer my services since I live locally here in Fort Lauderdale and have an opportunity to help provide here for my family. Very sad times we live in here and should be taken into account that for an establishment that preaches excellence to just shut someone is a really sad way to be.

I sail optimist at LYC and it is so fun the service there is great.

The waitress at the back bar, Scarlett was excellent!!!! Scarlett was very professional and great customer service. Shes truly an ambassador the the Yatch Club. Shes definitely an example of how your customers need to be waited on.

Membership services/benefits are very good. Although the food served at dinner was disappointing... seemed more like Golden Corral buffet food rather than fine cuisine.

The premier family friendly Yacht Club in the state of Florida. Excellent food, fantastic atmosphere and beautiful Intra Coastal veiws are the icing on the cake!

The coolest club in Fort Lauderdale to belong to. The clubhouse is awesome and the pool is beautiful. The slips are against the seawall. If there is a floating dock I didnt see it. What was super cool were the pictures of the Officers on the wall, each with a role in their fleet. I was looking at their photos outside the closed Commodores Room and thinking how cool it must be to be one of those guys, how high the bar is, to not just join the club, but to be in one of those positions. Then as I was leaving the Commodore and the Fleet Surgeon were arriving, smiling and laughing, both tall and strong looking older guys, and it made the place even more impressive. If you can join kudos to you.

I played music for a birthday party at Lauderdale Yacht Club. The staff was awesome and took very good care of me and the venue was very nice for parties. The dinner was amazing as well.

We were in the main ballroom for lunch.The food was delicious. The portions were fair. Dessert was awesome. The salad was better than expected.My only complaint, was my main course was cold. I ate it.This was my first time visiting the joint and I loved it. Sat right on the water. Cool lounge.Cabeza OUT!

Had brunch today with family. Very good and lots of choices on the menu or you can choose the brunch buffet.

Exclusive place

The name says it all. A quaint yacht club sitting on the intercoastal. You can drive in by car or sail in by boat. There are banquet and meeting rooms available for events. We had drinks and appetizers by the bar. Drinks were good and the appetizers were delicious. I would definitely return for dinner or other event.

Lauderdale Yacht Club is refined and elegant but also laid back and welcoming. The outdoor area offers a large array of seating, a pool and bar. The inside offers timeless dining rooms with a great selection of food and the perfect cookies for dessert. Love it here!

Great lobster night! So delicious. Good salad bar. Wondeful almond macaroons for dessert.

It will be 5star when the new place is completed.

Had an awesome time at a wedding reception hosted here. There was still plenty of room for the other members of the club. The food was really good.

Lauderdale Yacht Club is the best family focused, private Club in Fort Lauderdale. It’s located in Rio Vista and was opened in 1938. LYC is great for weddings, events, meeting friends for lunch or just relaxing by the pool side over the weekend. The staff and club members are extremely friendly. Truly a great establishment.

Went there for free lunch. You have to be a member but the view and staff are friendly

Fort Lauderdale Yacht Club excellent place too have weddings and all your social events service is good the Ambiance is great it can be a little pricey. But you get what you pay for had a good experience

Great event space right on the water if they didnt over book it would have been less congested and really nice but it was truly outdated very little space to park.Carol, Scott, Andrea, Amanda are fantastic bartenders! Not a public place member only kind of place but friendly just need to be a guest of a member to go.
