Peaceful and a bit secluded. In all my years, never knew I could access the beach this way. Great spot for meditation ...time with God! Not as busy as the other parts at least on this Saturday morning I discovered it.

I entered through Oakland Park, parked near the A1A & its a short walk to the entrance of the beach. The sand is thick here so definitely take off your shoes. Its a nice beach, with powerful waves. I didnt see many people in the ocean, but more just laying out relaxing. This isnt the play in the water side of the ocean, I guess. Lol. Its still a great experience.

Unguarded, limited paid public parking and crowded on the weekends, but peaceful and clean. Less crowded 100-200 yards north or south. Close in 1st reef snorkeling.

What a great park to rent bikes! We rode all around for several miles. We couldnt have picked a better wknd to come to fl. The weather was so beautiful. Definitely worth every penny! Cant wait to come to flF again and rent bikes and ride around :)

This was a very pretty beach. It was very busy. Parking is very limited to get into this beach. There were people of all ages. It seemed like to me that everyone pretty much kept to themselves. At the entrance to this beach they have showers to wash off. There was hardly any seaweed on the beach, that was nice.

Its kind of hard NOT to love a seriously massive, festive park containing awesome museums and frequent events of all kind!Theres not much more to say other than:IF YOU HAVENT BEEN HERE YET, GO ASAP!!!!!

Quiet park in local neighborhood. Pay to park is available down the street. Off the beaten path. And usually not as crowded as other parts of the beach

This is a beautiful beach and lacks the craziness of Fort Lauderdale Beach. My pictures say it all.Its also walking distance to Shooters and other restaurants on the intercoastal.

We had a really good time today at the air show on the beach it was a lot of fun some of the airplanes were really loud and my kids really enjoyed it the weather was perfect the beach was relatively clean everybody was very nice I definitely recommend going to check out the air show every single year and check out the beach and we sat at enjoy my pictures if you like this please leave me a like because Google likes that

Ok beach, downside is that you have to park far away from the entrance. Its just your Plain Jane Florida East Coast beach. Nothing fancy

A small, comfortable beach. Clean water and calm waves. Clean sand. No amenities though. No bathroom. And the parking is expensive.

Really nice beach in fort Lauderdale. One thing I do recommend is getting to this spot early (10am-11am) the parking space is limited. I lucked out and got there with only 2 parking spaces left. You have a good amount of young and older people, a good mix. The beach has a little bit of sea weed, but nothing thats going gross you out or keep you out of the water. Over all I liked the beach and Im definitely coming back with my family again

This a small Park that give you access to the beach at Oakland Park Boulevard. Also there is a small butterfly garden and a box of Books that we can share with the Community.

Idk why would anybody call it a park. Its really juat a pathway with trees to the beach. No bathrooms, no stores, no food or drinks. There are showers, and free library box ans bunch of homeless sleep by the showers

Its ok. There isnt much parking here for a car. Youre better off on foot here. The beach itself is beautiful. The fresh salt air blowing down the block feels incredible. But otherwise there isnt really a park to do much. Its mostly a grass patch the leads to a small sidewalk to the beach. We stopped here for our pit stop during a bike ride.

The access to the beach at Earl Lifshey Ocean Park is basically the same as all the other places along the coast in Fort Lauderdale and Miami.You get a fairly narrow but beautiful white sand beach. Youre on the east side of Florida so whoever posted sunset pictures for this location was obviously mistaken.There are private houses along the coast and some high rising condo buildings, which can cast a shadow in the afternoon.What I found positive is that you get free showers at the entrance, otherwise dont expect any services.Oh and obviously this is not an actual park like the name would suggest.

Sunrise is breathtaking at this “pocket” beach. Parking is available, but very limited so there is rarely a crowd. No restrooms, but a lovely landscaped walkway leading to a shower area and a beautiful entrance to the beach. There is no shade, so bring your own. Very eclectic crowd.

This is a great little quaint park area with a sandy beach. I like how its quiet and not crowded. The walkway is beautiful with tended plants. Theres a nice shower area where you can clean your feet and/or wash yourself off. Also people walk their dogs here sometimes too so its pet friendly too.

Nice little party leading to the beautiful beach. We had some elderly people and there wasnt a single bench for a short rest and a breath of fresh air, but it was very nice otherwise.

Earl Lifshey Ocean Park is a small, quiet beach area at the end of Oakland Park Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. Theres a nicely paved path, surrounded by greenery, that leads to the beach. I like how this city placed a little library (take a book, leave a book) at the beginning of this path.Parking is limited, so not a lot of people are on the beach. I recommend arriving early to ensure you get a parking spot.Theres a freshwater shower on the beach for you to rinse your feet.

Great place to come and walk and enjoy the beach. Local people come here often. Its easy access makes it convenient to explore. Different types of sports are practised in the area. Families come to have a good day playing around and other people jog near the water. Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. The beach is relatively clean, some people do throw garbage and dont pick it up. Other than that its great.

Awesome quiet spot

Earl Lifshey Park is a tiny spit of ground between the towering LHermitage condos and a small beach neighborhood. There is metered parking to the west and a place to lock up bikes. There isnt much in the park except some informational plaques and a little free library (looks like a birdhouse) where I leave books. There is access to Oakland Park Beach just to the east of the park. There are trash cans and spiggots where you can rinse off the sand and salt water. Its not very busy in the evenings. Great place to get to the beach and watch the moon rise.

Very nice, private beach..a hidden gem.. loved the white soft sand, 2 showers, no bathrooms.. Parking meter, right next to high rise condominums. On the day I went there was a sea turtle nest with sign not to disturb.
