Pretty good spot for arts. Slowly becoming a process of elimination type of choice with Pearl arts going out of bizness which was the mecca of all things crafty in the bay area. Moderate pricing with decent customer service. Online shop has much better selection.
Awesome for photoshoots . Never gets old . Always something going on and the art is always changing
The art school is an anchor in an evolving arts district...right here in the warehouse area of Downtown Fort Lauderdale. I have worked in city and county planning and this sort of activity (to attract arts into a neighborhood) is like the revival in Pittsburgh that Richard Florida has described. I hope the once-a-month Saturday evenings (with shirt vendors and food trucks and exhibits) will expand to every weekend. The Center for Arts is indeed the daytime anchor that brings people into the area. I have friends who have taken courses at the Center and they speak highly of the training and one-on-one attention that they receive. Bravo to Center for the Arts
Love it! Great place to learn, great artistic environment, can’t say enough good things about it. A job well well done, thanks Anthony!
The art school lost two of my art pieces. They did not allow me to look for them myself. I appreciate what Ive learned from one of the instructors but this cannot make up for what Ive lost.
While Ms. Natty is a phenomenal art teacher, unfortunately the owner (Anthony Lauro) has very unfriendly and unethical business practices. This is very sad, and after years of loyally paying thousands of dollars, we will no longer consider returning.
This is a great art school in the hear of Fort Lauderdale, where you can come learn to draw, paint, sculpt and learn photography. Both adults and children can come learn how to improve their artistic talents!!!
I love Miami and since I missed the rise of Winwood its nice that I have an up and coming Winwood right here in my back yard, fort Lauderdale!!
The Wynwood of Fort Lauderdale.
Great
