I really enjoyed the bartenders at Boardwalk, especially Felipe...but the strippers are very aggressive and do everything they can to steal money from you. Very disappointed that management doesnt do more to manage their employees. I will not go back anytime in the near future.... sad that things arent better managed....

Poorly run! Last night I went, met a guy, and paid $20 to use a private room. Just as things were getting fun an employee threw back the curtain and barged in on us. Dont they know what PRIVATE means?

Dancers are back to giving you a few minutes of massage, then demanding $10 or $15 dollars to allow you to allow them to touch you. I have had the side door of my car kicked in by one of the dancers. Mismanagement. Go to Johnsons on Wilton Drive. This place has only gone downhill over the last few years.

Does anyone even go there anymore? I went last weekend on a Sat night at 11:00 pm and was completely empty. The drag queen at the front desk didn’t seem to know what was going on. She said there is a new owner and it has gone down hill......$10 entry fee for nothing! Left after 1 beer. Waste of time!

Never never go there on a Wednesday night. The place was dead. The only nice thing was $.75 drinks. There were only 10 dancers and nothing great at all. I e been there a few times before and had dancers walk up and ask if I wanted a massage I usually said no. Last night, two times, guys came up and started massaging my back I let it go. One was horrible. I said that’s good and gave I’m $2. He said it’s $5 for a massage. I said I never asked for it take it or leave it. The next one started and he wasn’t bad I figured I’ll pay $5 for this one. I gave him $7 and he said it’s $20 LOL. I Said the same thing to him I said to the first guy. I was there for my birthday. Not a good night at all

Whats the deal with all the smoke?I walked into the bar soon after renovations were completed. The place looked great, but it reeked of cigarette smoke....Ugh! I was told they were almost finished constructing a tiki-bar in the back terrace, and when it was completed, all the smokers would have to take their dirty habit out to the back.Lo and behold, I returned last night for the first time in 3 months. No change. Smoke was everywhere.I dont understand this. Cigarette smoking is not allowed at LeBoy and at Johnsons. Does Boardwalk management want its customers to get lung cancer? Emphysema? Heart Disease? (google the effects of second-hand smoking). Or to placate the handful of customers that still smoke, management doesnt care about the health of the overwhelming majority of its customers that dont smoke.Although the place looked great, I wont be back till I can breathe clean air, and can go home without my clothes, skin and hair reeking of smoke.

Since Club Gold Coast open since 1970 s on the Eastside of Detroit was shut down by the nitpicking of the current police administration the Detroit scene for adult lgbtq entertainment is eliminated he says this is the best thing hes seen better than swinging Richards ATL and way better than Johnsons who is racist and rude Florida.

I gotta tell ya -- the food is really good if you are in South Middle Rover and need to grab a bite. I used to live across the street and the food is yummy. The strippers -- not so much my thing, but Id rather have a local strip club than not at the end of the day!

There dancer suck they cant dance, one was yawing on stage, none of them move on stage, horrible, no wonder I havent been here in three years. It sucks. Would not recommend this place for anyone. Unless your 90 years old. What a ease of money.

I have gone to this place now 3 times and always had fun. The dancers are good (most, with the exception of one middle aged man whos time has way passed) and they are hot. The drag queen is funny. However the bartenders are mixed -- the one at the main central bar is a deuce (he refused to answer simple questions like what are your drink specials and often responded with snarky comments and F bombs) but the one bartender in the back patio was great.

Fun place but pretty expensive. Charge to get in and drinks are a bit expensive. Some eye candy but they all are working so have some tip money. Bartenders were nice. Food is ok.

We have lived here 13 yrs and I must say each and every time the Boardwalk has gone drastically down hill and gets dirtier and dirtier. Last night Mon.9/3 was the last straw. We got there at 5:30 for a beer and then decided to stay because the bartender stated stay around the dancers will be here shortly. So we did. Well..... at 7:30 there was only 2 dancers on a holiday evening and both dancers was on the cell phones the entire time we were there. The bartender was doing everything. He was the Bartender and he was the DJ and he was the Server and he even had the change the Beer Keg. So needless to say we had to wait forever to get a beer due to the lack of staff.They then switched bartenders and we asked for a beer and he stated.... We have no glasses left and put only ONE GLASS ON THE BAR AND SAID....WHOS THE LUCKY ONE TO GET THE ONLY GLASS ? REALLY ?We said...We are the lucky ones because we will no longer stay her and waste our money which was a stack of $100 dollars in ones. What made it even worse was the owner walked in and was just hanging around laughing w friends. Well I always say....THE FISH ROTS FROM THE HEAD DOWN !!This is why we always now go to Johnsons and Leboy. I give this NOW DUMP a year to shut down.BYE FELICIA !!!

My partner and I went there Saturday afternoon for the first time, the food was not that good and the drinks were 8 dollars a piece. The bartender was not very nice.will not be back.

Super sexy boys and men dancing, flexing and always having a good time. VIP areas, outdoor patios, pool tables and strong drinks make Boardwalk a best bet for a fun night out. And theres food too... check out the burgers, wings and other pub food on the covered outdoor patio restaurant appropriately named Beefcakes.

Ive eaten there 3 times and the service and food was great. Chris is amazing! He and his staff get 5 stars from me.

Noreen needs to get FIRED or be forced to take medication for her aggressive and rude behavior. This cant be good for business, the Boardwalk is such a fun place! She ruins the experience right from the beginning, what a bummer.

Love this place

The dancers are all too young & not attractive. Where are the gay strip bars with Men dancing? The food @ the Birdcage Restaurant was ok, but the service was poor. The woman behind the bar was not nice at all & even seemed rude at times. This place is located on a busy heavy car traffic street which is not good for outdoor dining. I say No!

I love this place good music and always friendly staff, whats up with all the woman tho... if I wanted to hangout with a bunch of females Id go to a straight bar...

The guys need to be friendly and mix with the customers that support the bar. I find the guys at La Boy too be more friendly.

Aside of the bar having over priced drinks theirs lots of drug activity going on . One of the dancers John Snavely who happens to be a murderer slaps my hand and takes my money because he said he deserved it “for looking”. Trash . Food gets 2 stars
