Lap swimming open but you must reserve a lane. Everyone is following safety protocols and it is a privilege to exercise in such an amazing facility.

Large, well maintenanced aquatic center with my options for lap swim times. Prices are reasonable for day passes and it possible even for me as an out of towner guest to reserve lap swim times. I have swam both in 2019 and 2020 at this facility and have found it to be consistently well kept with attentice lifeguards, friendly front door staff and a pool that is often very active with both casual and more serious swimmers.

Two ice skating rinks one very large adult pool with lanes and two kids pools one heated. A very large and extensive park spanning the grasslands surrounding it. Tennis courts, horseshoes, baseball, kids playgrounds, picnic tables, soccer fields... this is a nice park.

Great facility, I play hockey here. The locker rooms are always clean and warm, and the ice is always super smooth and groomed.

Awesome place to swim, practice, and just enjoy doing laps. The ice skating rink is always full of figure skaters and hockey players having fun.

This place is great! Come here to swim or work out! Exercise is good for you! Even if you come to watch people exercise, still better than staying at home watching TV.

Im confused people can walk around this whole establishment but not jump off a diving board? No wonder why no cars were in the parking lot at epic. Good grief. Good luck staying open.

I was looking for an affordable place to swim once a week and this is a great option. This pool is very clean and well-maintained. The locker rooms are always in good order. One downfall is the lack of open swimming during the week. The pool is inundated with classes, swim teams, and meets anytime after work hours. I suggest weekends only for open lap time. Also the swimsuit spinning dryer is not in the locker room, its back out by the pool which makes no sense.

I have been swimming at this pool since I was 8 years old and seen it go through many changes. The pool is usually pretty clean, and the locker rooms are nice with free day-use lockers. The prices are pretty reasonable, and since the pool is run by the city, participants in local high school swim teams dont have to pay to use it. I highly recommend this pool to anyone who is interested in swimming. There is hot tub, therapy pool, warmer temperature kiddie pool that is much larger than anything Ive ever seen, and a 50 meter long main pool that is usually broken up into 16 25 yd lanes, with a diving well by the two high dives and two low diving boards.

EPIC is great. The pools are great for everyone. There is a heated therapy pool, a shallow kids pool and then the Olympic size pool. The ice rink is also great. It is pretty cheap to go too. Great family activities for the cold weather.

Went to EPIC for the first time today with my partner and her daughter and definitely was not impressed with our experience. The line stretched past the front counter and started to double back on itself. Only one poor associate was up front attempting to check everyone in. We spent over 20 minutes just waiting to get in and during that time the line continued to grow. After finally getting in we were very disappointed with the state of the facilities. The floors were scummy, all the soap dispensers in the showers were broken or empty, shower caddies gone nearly entire to rust, and the telltale signs of neglected shower curtains going black at the bottom from mold. Would really hope leadership at this facility could step up and make the appropriate staffing changes necessary to ensure a clean and efficient facility.

The kids love this place for ice skating. Great teachers for the different levels. The round chairs in the lobby are really fun to spin in. The automatic ice cream machine is neat too.

Nice hockey rink, love that yall have an electric Zamboni. Ram fans were friendly, despite the occasional yell at the ref. Overall good sports and a family friendly experience.

Great place to frisbee golf

We always have a good time at Epic but, here is my issue. The family changing bathroom area, while it does have a changing table it would be really nice to have a bench or some to sit an older child down on. Also can there be a soap dispenser next to the shower? I usually bring my own but sometimes it gets forgotten or runs out. Dont feel comfortable leaving a small child in a slippery shower while I run over and grab soap from the sink. Just saying

We enjoyed this place for a while even tho I will echo what others have said about the lack of cleanliness (we started taking swim shoes and flip flops to avoid the yuck on the floor).My son is 5 and Im rehabilitating from a back injury. The only reason we come here is for the therapy pool and the kids training pool. We were completely unaware that they close major sections of the pools for activities and we showed up during one of these times. There was apparently a sign posted on top of the front desk with a ton of other signs and Im short so I didnt see it. We were very frustrated to be changed and showered before we were told we couldnt use anything that we came for. Perhaps signage that stands out and is posted where everyone can see it would be helpful or the front desk pointing it out when someone shows up with a tiny kid.What really gets me is that they wouldnt let us use the therapy pool during swim class even tho the swim class was not using it at all. Thats just plain dumb, in my opinion. Had that been an option, we would have waited out the swim class for the training pool.I made the front desk refund us for this day but, as a mom, I had to go through my son crying and telling me how disappointed he was that we couldnt swim aside from us getting changed and all wet for basically nothing. Hes just not there for the big pool and its way colder than the other two.These pools are closed for swim class the majority of the time were able to come, seems like, so Im disappointed and will have to explore other options. The schedule is hard to interpret unless you already know they close the pools for these activities.

A beautiful park surrounds an Olympic sized pool and skating rinks. There were sledders outside the day we went. A fantastic addition to competitive youth sports.

Conveniently located a couple miles west of I-25, EPIC offers a clean, modern facility that is reasonably priced. Yesterday was my first time there. It wont be my last!

The ice arenas here are fantastic and at an unbeatable price often. Lots of friendly hockey and staff. Amazing rink overall. Fair to note in my review, I have not used the rest of the facility.

This was my favorite place to clean. The only downside was all the little finger prints on the glass doors. I would suggest everyone come here at least once to check it out.

We had an excellent experience with the Pollywog swim class this summer. Our daughter went from being afraid to put her head underwater to swimming underwater without holding her nose in 2 weeks! We owe it to the great staff, namely Donovan, for teaching her and helping boost her confidence in the water. The pool manager was also very helpful and accommodating to finding a comfortable chair for my mother who had just had back surgery. I highly recommend EPIC for swim lessons!

Havent really been here but once to ice skate. That being said,, they dont keep their rental skates in very good shape, was told they regularly sharpen them, yet the first pair I tried had Rust on the bottom of the blades. Id be surprised if theyre worked on more than once a year.

We absolutely love this ice rink, its a great place to skate, always a very clean facility. Katie Holmes, private instructor is phenomenal and highly recommend if you want your kids to have a great instructor.

Kiddos and I love this place! The water is not freezing and never seems to be overcrowded.Only have a couple complaints, as many have said the cleanliness could be much better, 2nd we have been told that we need get out of the pool at LEAST 15 min before close IF we want to shower, get dressed, and use the locker room. We should be able to swim until they blow the whistle to get out when swim time is over, and still be able to shower; just like every other pool! I would understand if the whole facility closes but it does not. When we are not told that, we just get unfriendly looks from the life guards as we leave....not cool Since my last review things have improved

Amazing womens hockey with the CSU Rams

Nice to go swim and not have too many people in the pool. The price is right. Where else can you enjoy your self for 5 hours at a total cost of $3.25. The reason I left off the 5th star was that a lot of the lockers are broken and the therapy pool is too cool but thats not a good enough reason to not go.

Swim meet review!No real concessions. It is EXTREMELY loud. I always bring ear plugs. Warm up music is purposely cranked up. It is still a loud environment during the meet. I hear the announcements just fine with ear plugs.Scoreboard with events and heats are easy to track. It can get crowed for meets.Overall it is above average facilities for swim meets. Just be prepared for the noise.

I recently attended a hockey game here and my review is based solely on that experience. It was fine except for one thing: it stunk of B.O. in the bleachers, horribly. We were on the top row, and I do not have a sensitive nose. It was BAD. We visited three rinks in three days, and this was the only one that stunk.

Enjoyed a free womens hockey game, friendly staff & clean facility with lots of comfortable seating, including the fun chairs in the lobby for the kiddos!

I did have an awesome time but why arent your life gaurds not doing their job. My cousin was drowning and she almost died! As well as her friend trying to save her. We were on a feild trip going to EPIC and when she dove off the diving board she didnt get a breath and she was drowning. I would really also love an explanation of why the lifeguard told my friend that was trying to tell him she was drowning that it was her fault because she should know how to swim. Which she did, she just didnt get a good breath. As well as watching a 12 year old drown. Lucky one of my friends was able to get her out and do the lifegaurds job. He grabbed her and get her to safety and she was okay but the lifegaurd shouldve been doing their job.

Great place for family fun! They have pools and two ice rinks. Do check ahead tho because they have hockey, figure skating, and swimming teams that all come here. They also offer many classes at a fair price.

It has amazing pools very clean and if you like going down pretty far the deep end is 12 and a half feet and still clean at the bottom one small thing is that every once in while they make the lanes longer for swim practice for FAST (the swim team at epic) but a lot of places do that so not that big of a deal and last I went they still had one lane open for public use incase others still wanted to go to the deep end or literally anywhere else in the slowly sloping downward pool (starts at about 4 feet I think then goes to 5 and a half then a slope to 12 and a half) and indoor so not sunvurns. Overall a really wonderful pool and would recommend to any of my close family or friends

I am sad to write this as I worked at this location as a conssionaire about 12 years ago. A lot has changed since, and unfortunately not for the better. I will start off by saying the front desk team was very friendly and sociable and that was the best part of our experience. We came early in the morning and had 3 kiddos between the ages of 3-6. I was very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness. 2 bandaids at the pool side, a cookie and torn off wrist bracelets. The thing that disappointed me the most was the lifeguards. They truly did not seem to enjoy their jobs and left our group feeling like we were not wanted at the pool by the looks they gave. Our kids were well behaved and the only kids there this early in the morning. The 3 year old we brought was yelled at for running. I absolutely understand enforcing safety at the pool, but did not appreciate how it was handled. Especially since I was within arms reach, and in the middle of nicely explaining to our 3 year old that running is not safe due to a slippery floor.. the way I feel it should have been handled to begin with. Needless to say, there is a list of other pools I can think of to go to before coming back to E.P.I.C.

The staff are great. Its good place for lap swimming. There is plenty of space as long as there are no lessons going on. They also have a large shallow kids pool and a warm therapy pool. The Ice rink is nice too. They have open skate and stick and puck.

Fantastic place to be and ice skate at, pool is clean and has lots of lanes to swim in, also has diving boards in the deep end which is cool and fun as well. Only thing i didnt like is that they refuse to let me have my at least one headphone is but thats not a big deal. :)

Eudora has been the go to place for most of my adult life when it comes to ice skating or swimming. The staff has always been great and kids programs have been excellent. The only reason Im not giving them 5 stars is due to the remodeling that feels like it has taken far too long and at the most inconvenient times, such as over the summer.

Decent public facility. Really is a 4.5 but thats not an option. :)

I didn’t want to give this place one star. This place is disgusting!!! I recently moved to the area and wanted to go swimming . My co workers told me that this place is always filthy. Going against my better judgement I ignore my co workers and went anyways I’ve been swimming since 2yrs old and I have never seen a dirtier pool!! There was band-Aids, cottons of some sort and other types of garbage that I could not recognize that was at the bottom of the pool. I went to another lane and I saw more trash. Disgusting !!!!! We’ll working out and lifting weights in the pool and a band-aid comes floating towards your arm. It’s time to go!!!!!

Fantastic clean place to go, only problem is, it’s hard to actually get in there for their “public skating” like for instance today 10/7/2017 on their site it says that they have public skating but at the last second I decided to call because this isn’t the first time it’s happened to me where I show up and then we can’t skate. Just wish they could honestly put up their schedules so that the public knows when they can actually skate or not. Other than fighting with that it’s an amazing place to go to.

We have started going here on sundays for ice skating. I would give it 5 stars but i think they need to get some newer rental skates. We have a blast though. Everyone is really nice.

One of my favorite rinks! Big facility with two sheets of ice and indoor swimming pool. Staff is great and we are always well taken care of here. The building is clean, bright and great place for the kids. Check their web site for all the things to do here.

Been a staple for our family since 2002! We love that they have 2 ice rinks. The remodel is really nice, however we would like to see the concession area come back, they are very limited now that there are only vending machines.

If you are booking the community room here, have them triple check that there isnt any other larger event that is taking place. In my case there was a swim meet that was being held here the same day that I reserved. Sad story is I booked the room 2 months in advance for my sons first birthday party and they called me 11 days prior to the party to tell me that they were going to boot me.This may be a little too strong for most but I have to say it:The Aquatics Director Tim Stabbe is a coward who hides away and sends Managers below him to do his dirty work to deliver bad news. With our situation he sent the extremely professional and courteous Front Desk Manager Zach. I demanded Zach to get Tim to contact me and deliver this news. When Zach made the request, Tim held to his cowardly ways and had Zach call me to say that he will make a compromise for my reservation. Only to discover, on the day of the reservation, he lied and everyone was in our room when we arrived completely derailing the entire event. I was in that building for 3 HOURS and Tim did not call or approach me in any way to apologize for the disaster that he created.I have not talked to Tim during this entire disaster and I would guarantee that he will send Zach to do his dirty work once again.

Online schedule and times are wrong.... I called the lady said they were open till 7.... I Went to get dressed to go swimming, walked out to the pool to find it completely closed... Not only did the lady at the desk didnt tell me anything or wasent informed. I am a little sad the got rid of the paintings also and the therapy pool is a joke!!! Its cold way to cold for any enjoyment!!! No more jets for massage either deffenty a down grade. I have been going here sence i was born i lived right over here sence the 90s it looks better at theo front desk area but the pool has declined a lot. The life guards are very young and act like such also. Tried to go here again they closed to the public 95% of the time! Its a public pool but you actually cant hardly ever swim!!!!!! Pretty much closed from 3pm to 8 your lucky to get a lane... Kinda a waste! Go to Loveland center! Im very sad and disappointed less of a pool more of a private facility for other business to use. Soooooo lame! Even now update as of 2020 the hours are never correct!!!!! And you cant get a hold of a real person on the phone.

Been coming here ever sense I was a little kid and I have always loved it. My boyfriend helped work on the recent remodeling so Im really excited to see whats different! Staff is always so friendly!

It seems to be a recurring theme in our state... Large competition swimming complexes in need of a make over... Not enough access to pool time for local teams. Edora Pool Ice Center or EPIC is a desperately needed resource. In a state that has fostered a number of Olympic swimmers and houses the US Olympic training center one would think these facilities would have higher priory.The EPIC staff does a great job with an aging pool. We have been here on a number of occasions for large (2000 + participant) swim meets. All while the continue to operate the rec center and ice rink unphased. Rumor has it they are closing in the near future for a revamp... Just dont know when.Take the time to enjoy the bronze sculptures, most folks blow right past them.

Epic is true to its name. Swimming, skating, exercise, skatepark. Great place for kids birthdays and other events.

It was kinda dumb when we went in to pay the staff didnt tell is that they were doing laps all night long so the only pool we could use was the kiddy pool n the hot tub was freezing cold and the kids were told they couldnt pla uh in the hot tube so it was really stupid and the life guards advise was for us to check thd lap schedule next time if we wanna recreational swim

Great for ice skating early during the weekdays.

I usually come here twice or three times a month if not more if I can help it but recently we went in there 1/21/2018 and there was a gentleman who was the “guard” for ice skating I don’t know his name but he had pink laces on. his skates. Not only did he not care about other people he bumped into a couple people and even knocked a gentleman down and didn’t even offer to help him up. Not only that they usually are super nice and the other staff was but he was a total jerk. He never helped anyone up and skated by said “you okay” then kept going, didn’t even stop to help them up. Awful experience with him and hopefully when I go back next time I won’t have to skate with him cause he didn’t care about anyone but himself even though he was supposed to have a job to do.

I was a little disappointed in my experience at EPIC in which my kids and I visited the pool area. Checking in was effortless and the staff was very friendly. We visited the womens locker room to get changed and ready for the pool. The locker room was very, very dirty - dirt smudged all over the floor, hair balls, bathrooms had no toilet paper, the sink had an exposed battery circuit (health code violation?!?) and the shower area was pretty bad as well... slim and hair on the drains. I was a little scared to let me kids even walk in there! I was anticipating with the remodel and reopening of the center - it would be clean even if some of the areas werent remodeled (like the womens locker room I was in) but would at least be sanitized and monitored. I thought the goal was to not spread more disease - and by the looks of it - that isnt being addressed.

Welcoming staff and a great environment. With 2 hockey rinks, a full length, 0-3 foot, and therapy pool there is a little something for everyone. It is also right next to the park with disk golf, picnic areas, and a play ground.
