Finally, back in the USA after ages in Europe and this is the first place that reminds me Im home! The Fitchburg Art Museum may not be the MET but it holds a spectacular range of culturally rich art pieces.

Something for everyone to see, there is just so much inspiring beautiful art work to see, a great way to spend time together with your family and friends. Cant wait for it to reopen.

Fitchburg Art Museum is an amazing cultural experience in the heart of Fitchburg Mass. Exhibits change frequently --- so its never quite the same experience twice! Very unique and thought provoking art in varying medium. Always an event, opening, artist talk or Farmers Market on Free First Thursdays to attend. Highly recommend. Kids welcome and many activities for them also--- mine loves the Egypt room!

This museum is so cute and quaint, it is affordable I only paid $5 with a student discount. The exhibits are a mixture of local and world art, the staff is friendly and are knowledgeable on the art that is being displayed. It is child friendly, I noted dress up areas and a few games. I also give them a lot of credit for their bilingual approach by having the descriptions in both English and Spanish. Highly recommend!

Great museum! I enjoy stopping in here from time to time and always love it when they have new exhibits!

Our irst time experiencing the Fitchburg Art Musuem was amazing. Truly a hidden gem in the area. We took in the Spiritual Exhibition and were pleasantly surprised by the farmers market they were hosting. We will return!

What a gem in downtown Fitchburg! This small Museum will still take you a few hours to go through. Many activities for younger children. Would like to see more activities for older children.Wonderful selection of art with different media. Sometimes parking can be a challenge, but it does have free parking

A wonderful, magical place for children of all ages, adults, and seniors. This facility has handicapped parking directly in front of the museum, wheelchair/walker accessibility, and elevators to various exhibits. The experience includes interactive activities for children and parents to share in together.You will see a diversified collection of contemporary art, abstracts, photography, and onsite sculptures, to name a few. Visit the permanent Egyptian Exhibit and Moving Objects of Oceana Dont miss the exquisite Eleanor Norcross exhibit; museum founder, painter, philanthropist, and so much more. I highly recommend the Fitchburg Art Museum as one of the overall best places to go where the whole family can enjoy themselves.

Fabulous exhibits. Wish I had more time there. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms with very interesting and colorful exhibits...so beautiful. Cant wait to return!

Lots of interesting and informative exhibits

Wow, what a place! The market plan should be better becasue I never knew this existed and I have lived in the area since early 2000s. I went for an event, but was allowed to linger and wander. Very cool!

A gem of a small-city museum notable for its legacy collection, art-education program, annual show of regional artists and excellent photography department.

Nice museum with local charm! It was admittedly small, but the exhibits were tasteful and well organized. Two of the exhibits were more geared toward children than I was expecting, but there was plenty for adults to enjoy as well!

I would have given them a higher rating but the fact of feeling like i being followed had me a bit on edge. Museum was small but nice. We went during a time in which they were showing work from local artist in which i had the honor to meet one of them. Mr. Renfield was awesome.

Enjoyed exploring and seeing all the exhibits

The current exhibit at the Fitchburg Museum of Art is over the top. Not he old FAM that I remember. More than one visit for me (89yrs old) to take it all in. The Art in Bloom show is the most exciting ever. Many thanks to all the hard work and talent bringing a lovely welcome to Spring.

Beautiful historic building with a nice layout of exhibits

Many of the pieces on display were made by relatively local artists. Many of the subjects are of local interest (local buildings, etc) as well. Many art museums Ive visited become exhausting after a few hours. Fitchburg Art Museum is nicely sized and kept my interest throughout. The docents with whom we interacted were both friendly and knowledgeable. Tucked back where it is, it can be easily overlooked.

The Egyptian exhibit was fabulous for the kids. They could have spent an hour or more just in that section. I was impressed with the variety of exhibits for such a small museum. A surprisingly nice way to spend a few hours.
