What a great time Captain Ben was awesome. Good gear, boat, and knowledge of the waterway. Really good time for a family my 8 year old son wants to go back. If you are looking for a different kind of fishing I would highly recommend his charters.

Fun evening sticking flatties and black drum with the gigs and bows. Looks like we know what we will be having for dinner tomorrow night! Capt Ben was awesome. He knows what he’s doing and will show you a good time. Call him up and go fish if you find yourself at Amelia Island.

What a super fine time gigging some flounder. The conditions were tough due to a king tide and merky water but we still left with a big bag if flounder. The captain is the best! Kind and thoughtful to children and super accommodating You can bow and gig with him. Fun family night! Thank you!

My daughter and I had so much fun! She has been begging me to go night fishing for a while, and it was well worth it! Captain Ben and his crew were great with my baby, showing her the right way to hold the bow and made sure she caught a big one! They were patient with all of us, and we will for sure be going again! Ben knows the water and knows how to find fish. I’ve fished with him 3 times and I gotta say that even though we caught lots of fish, his personality is what keeps me coming back. He’s just a fun guy to be on a boat with for me and my 7 yo son.

Captain ben was extremely accommodatingWe booked last minute and it poured down rain right before we were supposed to start our trip so he backed the trip up to give the water time to clear up. Taught everyone on the boat a thing or two along the way. Helped to spot and identify the fish for some that had never been. Would definitely reccomend to others and will definitely be booking again. We were looking for something fun to do and something we haven’t done so we asked around and ended up getting in touch with captain Ben....It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.We showed up at the dock and he was ready to Rock and roll, Ben showed us how to shoot the bow properly and explained what to lookFor when gigging. The lights were super bright and we were able to see tons of fish and the whole family had a blast! He even stayed out wayyyyy longer then we paid for and he didn’t ask for more money or anything, Captain Ben just wants you to have a goodTime and that we did. When we got back to the dock he cleaned our fish and bagged them into zip lock bags for us to take home. I will definitely go again.I have been on many many charters and usually you feel like the captain is rushing the trip well this trip was the opposite. Trust me just try it once and you will definitely be hooked!

Our group of 5 had a great time with Captain Ben. He went out of his way to show everyone a good time, even for some inexperienced giggers! Being out of the boat at night gave us a great perspective on the island! We would certainly recommend this experience to anyone looking to try something different!

WOW!!! I am speechless. Captian Ben is the man. If you are ever in Fernandina beach you will have to come see this guy. Best fishing day I have ever been on (and I have been alot). Had the most amazing evening out on the boat, we were able to bring plenty of supper home and was able to see so many cool things that you cannot see in the daylight. Time flew by way to fast, cant wait to book again!

I had a great fishing/gigging trip with Amelia Bow & Gigg Charters! My first experience with Black Drum! We put two in the boat! I was nervous using a Bow to flounder fish! But Captain Ben showed me the proper way & its actually fun!! Happy to say I have flounder for supper! I will definitely book another charter!

Captain Ben is a great captain. He really knows the area well and where to get on the fish. We stuck with bowfishing for this trip and absolutely had a blast. The trip was lots of fun even though the fish didnt want to co-operate. It was like fishing with a friend you havent seen in a while. I would highly recommend. Ben also responded to my questions pretrip very quick.

Had an awesome time. Captain Ben is on point. No experience was necessary. Showed us a great time. Boat was set up perfect and was easy to fish off of. We even chartered him the following day for a 3 hour trip to Cumberland with our out of town family. Looking for a fun one of a kind trip, look no further.
