Fergus Falls is a great place to raise your family! Great schools with wonderful teachers! The medical facilities are top notch! I am so lucky to live where the is a cancer center!!! I love all the parks, trees and the Prairie Wetlands. One of my favorite places to walk is around the state hospital grounds. Fergus Falls is within an hour drive to at least 5 state parks. Fergus Falls is really building up their small businesses/downtown with fun shops and eateries. I love the community arts programs/Center for the Arts/movies in the park! There are many wonderful churches to choose from. Also, Fergus Falls has I94 Speefway, one of the best dirt tracks in the state! Sorry but we all have different priorities !!!

I am a California native born and raised for 35 yrs. Last year we made the decision to move to Minnesota my husbands home state. He chose Fergus Falls because he knew I would love all the lakes and nature and plush green. He hit the nail on the head. We have been here almost a year this June and I’m in love with Fergus Falls. I I highly recommend visiting and enjoying all its beautiful scenery, people, history, shopping and food.
