Went 1 summer ago this place is a haven love it. You can drink a beer or two in the restaurants above and great food. Then take the kids down diffrent water slides and they are fast. Love when you just need a break you can sit in the lazy river however long you want to go. They have a wave pool this is great for the kids it has a deep end. The location is nice with amazing views planning on going every summer.

Plenty of parking area. Lots of rides both with water and without water!! Even on a cloudy day you have so much to do here. The water rides have temperature controlled water following all the time. Wave pool is very spacious and tons to relaxing chairs all around. Lots of eating options and places to sit relax and have the food. Bit costly which is expected. Staff is polite and helpful. Wish there was more proper dress change rooms specially for family with small kids.

We stayed here during Veteran weekend. We had a good time eventhough there were a lot of people at waterpark. The waterpark is smaller than I thought but our family still had a lot of fun. Our room was very basic but clean upon arrival and we were able to go in the room at 3:15 pm. Be prepare to stand in line at check-in if you purchased the room through 3rd party (we waited in line for almost an hour). Fast Wifi connection in our room on 8th floor. 4 stars due to high daily resort fee and daily parking fee plus taxes.

CUTE! and entertaining place for children. Prior to going there, we thought that our 8 year old goddaughter was going to be bored and too big for this place. BUT, she had so much fun and we did, too!! Although lots of the story boxes were not working... and some the animals were inside... it was still a pretty fun place for us to spend 3 hours there!! Reminded us on our childhood fun. The setting is great too... you can go down to the lake Merritt area after you done. Love it!

The park could use some updating. Many of the old rides make terrible sounds of metal grinding and motors fighting to keep running. Some rides were closed for maintenance issues but would resume minutes later. The roller coaster had to be serviced halfway threw our ride when it suddenly stopped on the track “not in the place it is supposed to”. One of the water slides had a steady stream of water trickling out of one of the seams. There is a sign in the water park side stating the bathroom and showers have been remodeled. Unfortunately, I used the restroom by the big wooden roller coaster and it is disgusting. The floor between the first two stalls looks like it’s sinking and was filled with mud and when I sat down the toilet sunk a couple of inches into the depression I almost panicked thinking I was going to go threw the floor. There were so many seagulls due to trash can not being emptied out in the parking lot.The park is so overpriced without using a discount. I can not stress this enough to anybody planning a trip to wild waves. Either buy your tickets online THREE DAYS ahead of time or research where you can buy discount tickets. We went after 4pm so it was half priced. Thank you Wild Waves for offering half price after 4!We went on Fourth of July and I wanted to put this in the review because we were nervous this could be a very busy day with long lines and nowhere to sit down and I found only one review of a family visiting on the 4th and I had to trust just that one experience. Great day to go. No lines at all. We rode some rides over and over again. We were able to go on every ride we wanted still having shown up so late in the day.

I used to get season passes for my kids when they were young, and came to enjoy the park myself, as well as my husband. Now our kids are grown and we still buy a pass for ourselves on occasional seasons. We bought our pass on labor day, on a whim last year. None of us knew Covid would take this season from us. Sort of bummed, but completely understand and appreciate that it won’t be open soon. I was looking forward to it, as were probably many other people. And I will continue to look forward to the reopening, as will many others.*It’s nice that they will replace everyday missed this season, with passes next season. So we already have a jump on next years passes.

This business is crooked!! We bought our seasons passes based on the message from the President in May 2020, that the park will be fully operational by the end of June 2020. We were willing to lose a few weeks of the season because the message seemed that it will be open after months of preparing due to Covid-19. As of today, 07/23/2020, the park has yet to open. We called, emailed to get a response, nothing. We requested a refund, nothing. So far we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and disputed the charges for no service through our credit card company. These people are out to take your money with no consequences for no operating. Currently on their website, you still purchase season passes. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Awesome theme park in Washington! About a 30 minute drive to Seattle this location is not only a fun stop for tourists, but also a great place to take your date or family! I only warn everyone about the long lines for the water, and the very hot pavement (be sure to bring your water shoes!)! If you want to get ahead of all the lines a trick that has worked for me is to hit all the water rides in the morning, then do the dry rides. The lines wont be that long, and you will have a lot more time for more rides!!

We visit Wild Waves & Enchanted Forest every year! Great place for kids and adults alike. Cool to have a theme park and water park all wrapped up in one! If you live nearby and want to go more than once look into season passes that will save you a ton.A few things to keep in mind: family size locker rentals run about $20. Dont forget to bring towels! Wild Waves does not provide them, outside the gift shop, where theyre very expensive.Best to pack your own food & drinks. Usually they let them in no problem. Worst case scenario, you can lunch out in your car. Same-day re-entry is allowed - just be sure to get your hand stamped at the exit gate before you leave. Also check for discount tickets before you go! Safeway often sells them. And BECU members who present their card get a discount at the door. They close at 8pm all summer long. Parking is adequate and costs $12 for the day.

It was a beautiful day at Wild Wave. It haves shaded areas for kids. Plenty of chairs but of course first come first served. Kids pool area its cold but when you stay in the water long enough you get get used to it. I wish though it can be warm like the wave pool. If you bring little kids bring a wagon or stroller because its a long walk from rides to the kids pool and the wave pool. Family friendly, lifeguards are alert about everything.

This year I opted to get a season pass for my kids. I think they have updated the perks. And it is very much worth it! we went opening weekend and collected our wrist band/cup and coupons that they load unto ur bracelet. Its for all ages small ones and adults. I suggest wear something comfortable because it is alot of incline (up hill) walking to get to certain rides and mainly the kiddie rides! Cant wait for the water park to open end of May! Cost of Parking is $15 per car. I would go online and try to get the discount tickets while there still available. or better yet if you plan on visiting more than twice. you may as well as get the season pass which covers: admission, discount admission for a friend, 6 dive-ins movies and into October Fright Fest

Ive been to most of the California amusement parks. Wild Waves doesnt even come close, but it really doesnt have to: its got enough to entertain for an entire sunny day. And its not like a dinkey, dingey place that doesnt care because they know theyre the only game in town: they keep this place clean and fresh and nice, and if you live in the area the annual pass and the souvenir cup are a hell of a deal. Roller coasters, water slides, carnival rides, a wave pool, and family fun.

Nice theme park. We bought season passes to pass the summertime fun away whenever we could make it. It doubles as Fall Time Fun when the rain starts and Halloween comes around. Awful experience at Wild Waves today! This weekend is their Biggest season pass sale...my husband purchased online ahead of time to skip the line. When we got there the season pass office was closed and we were told to get in the huge long line along with all the non-season pass and no ticket customers. Even though i already had an active season pass, Siera at the front gate refused to allow entry for my husband. She was very rude to us both when we tried to clarify why he would wait in the line to buy a ticket when he had already paid. When we FINALLY got into the park, we realized that half the water attractions and rides were closed. The rides that were open were staffed by rude teenagers who yelled and blasted their whistles every few seconds at anyone and everyone.Tamara in customer service was nice when we expressed our frustration but ultimately said people dont know up for work because its the weekend, holiday, end if summer, etc so all they can do is close the attractions. I dont understand how they can charge full price and only offer half the services? Then after waiting 45 minutes to get on the Timerhawk, it broke while we were on the ride. No one said anything to us to tell us what was going on. I ended up calling customer service from the ride to ask for help because we were stuck and had no idea what was going on.The newly remodled and updated bathrooms were so gross, toilets plugged, etc.Staff in the food stands were talking on cell phones and eating food (i assume off customers plates) while serving guests. Such a waste of money and now dont plan on using the season pass we just bought!

The roller coasters and dry rides were incredibly fun. Thrilling and scary. The lines werent ridiculous before noon and the crowds were manageable. Food was just OK but we didnt go for food. Most workers seemed miserable with their lives. The water part was a disappointment. Lines way too long, wave pool barely had waves, lazy river was impossible to get into since no one would get out for others to have a turn and the water in the kid structure was so cold. And so overcrowded for 5pm on a Sunday. Long story short, go early, stick to the amusement part and dont expect any enthusiasm from workers.

This place is extremely fun. It is very pricey though. If you are only going for the day, make sure you get there when it first opens and stay as long as you can deal with staying. Really get your moneys worth. All the concessions can be a little pricey too. I would suggest getting the season pass if you are going to go more than once in the year. You get a lot of perks, particularly if you buy it during the early sale in Fall. Took us a WHOLE hour to get in because the lack of extra people working at the booth for entry and tickets and it was freezing.Other than that, I will give kudos to the actors and all the creativity in the haunted houses. In the 2.5 hours we were there, because the lines were long we were able to do 2 haunted houses and 2 rides before closing time. Kinda a bummer. I grew up going to this park, as I got older I continued to come, with family and friends that I have met along the way to adulthood. My boyfriend and I came on Sunday, my first time back in a couple years, we pull in, parking was raised to 15 dollars instead of 10. OK, no problem, we park in the back of the lot, no problem, we gather our things, put our sunscreen on and walk to the entrance. I was SO excited. Started waiting in line to get our tickets, then I realized the prices has been raised to 45.99 per person, with tax, 50.59 per person. For most people they wouldnt even think twice, OR they have already paid for parking and made the trip down so they buy the tickets anyways. We came from Kirkland, which isnt terribly far, but already being tight on money and finally having a day off together we wanted to enjoy it in the sun at Wild Waves! We ended up leaving, no refund for the parking when we were only there for 20 minutes. I was so upset I couldnt enjoy the rest of my day. Ill still come back to Wild Waves when money isnt a option, but I will never come back without buying my tickets online before hand at a discount price. I cant imagine the families with 3+ kids who want to spend at day at the water park. Really breaking the bank Wild Waves.

I am local and have been considering getting a seasons pass. However, after coming today (although I think it’s due to end of the season issues like people quitting) I don’t think I will. The place was majorly understaffed and one stressed staff member told me many have quit. To me that suggests either poor working conditions or poor incentives to stay the full season. There was a ton of goose poop all over the wave pool area and even in the wave pool!Additionally, there was a hornets nest by the little kids rides and a young child was stung. We stood in line for a ride but were refused one because the staff person had to go run another ride. We couldn’t go on 3 rides we wanted to because there were no staff for them! My 3 year old was crushed. My friend, who has a season pass, came too and stood in line for food for 20 min (understaffed again) and asked for complimentary fries for the wait but was refused both that & a refill on the season cup she usually gets refilled there. Being elderly and have bad legs, I stayed closed to the water and latter, to keep hold on to, to do legs exercises and but to be out of the way of people, not to fall on me and my legs, only being yelled at, to stay away from the wall. Yet I didnt move from the wall. They did ask me if I was going to move from the wall, but said no.Seems like we had to get out of the water, every 30 minutes. One time we had to get out, for lifeguard training and testing. While people being constantly yelled out, to stay out of the water and behind the yellow line.Order a hot dog and they didnt even have any cooked. Since we already paid for it, we got a sorry taste of a hamburg.Go get a elephant ear with ice cream and whip cream, but no ice cream. My daughter was not happy at all, the way I was treated. She said what I said, We wont be back! Our first time and last.$28 wasted!People getting on other people backs and falling off on her. She a disabled veteran. She ended up limping out.Who pays to not able to go to enjoy the lazy river and get yelled at, because youre by the wall. So, you lean on it, to keep your balance.Pay for hot dogs and they dont have them on the grill (5 pm).Pay for ice cream and the dont have it.There was plenty of sea gulls around eating fries of the walk way, the whole time, because people only eat a couple and give the rest to the birds.I guess them dont mind half cooked fries.

You’re not allowed to bring food in. I can understand that, but when they quadruple the price of the food it makes it hard to afford to buy it!! Then you go to the other part of the park and more than half the rides weren’t even running. On the kangaroo ride my husband and daughters safety bar broke!! 2 adults a 7 year old and 13 year old both over 48”, parking and convenience fee =$185. This park is NOT worth this price. We visited on a warm Tuesday in August. It was busy, as expected. Let me list out why we will never return to Wild Waves:-The lines for the larger slides did not move. We stood for unusually long periods of time without movement. Possibly due to disorganization? While waiting for one slide I saw the lazy river line did not move at all.- the wave pool does not work and they clear the pool way too often, to, I assume, make sure the wave pool is still broken?- the activity pool was closed (it was closed the last time I visited in 2009 perhaps get a new attraction already?!)- the children’s play area was understaffed with 2 of the 3 slides closed causing ridiculous lines and frustrated littles ones- half of the rides were closed, including the Log ride. The sign said they were preparing for Fright Fest- again, we visited in August HOW long do they need to prepare for Fright Fest?!- I watched several rides shut down mid operation.- the restrooms were filthy, I do not think these are maintained throughout the day.-the food is overpriced and limited in selection and quantity. They actually ran out of dipping dots! For the cost of admission, this park should be fully operational. While it is understandable for one or two rides to be down, more than FIVE is ridiculous and should be noted on your website!! I paid for a full experience.Save your money and do not go here! If you want a WONDERFUL experience, visit Silverwood in Idaho.

Wild Waves is an excellent, independent water and theme park with a small town vibe. Their season pass is a steal- if you buy at the right time from them or from groupon you only have to pay 50 dollars for unlimited visits. I had a season pass for a few years as a kid, and for the last two years as an adult. The water park is their strength. Wild Waves has a wave pool, an activity pool, four different slide towers, a kids play area with slides, and two different lazy river-style rides. On the theme park side, they have two quality roller coasters, one metal rollercoaster that goes upside down and one wooden roller coaster built during their Six Flags days, and a variety of carnival style rides (bumper cars, an extreme scream drop ride, pirate ship, a log ride, etc.) They have a nice-sized collection of kiddie rides, though many of them have a height maximum so parents cannot ride with their kids. My toddler nephew loves that their is a mini-rollercoaster we can all ride together.Wild Waves other strength is their special events. They do movie nights during the summer where they show movies on a blow-up screen over the wave pool. During October, they offer Fright Fest where they have 3 different haunted houses at night, and some kiddie activities during the day. Each December, they decorate the entire theme park for Christmas with lights and blowups and a laser show.Wild Waves does have some small park quirks that can be frustrating at times.- Consistency is NOT their strong-suit. Some of the height requirements seem arbitrary, and depending on the life guard or ride attendant, what rides your little one can go on can fluctuate from shift to shift. For instance, 8 times out of 10, my 2-year-old nephew could go in the hot tub with us, but every once in a while, theyd kick him out for being too short.- The bathrooms arent always the cleanest, and a lot of the food is mediocre. (However, the hand-dipped, made-to-order corn dog food truck is consistently delicious. Other good dessert options include soft-serve ice cream, dip-n-dots, homemade fudge, and freshly made elephant ears.) - Many of the lifeguards and ride attendants are local teenagers. Some are excellent and on-the-ball. For example, we had one lifeguard who stood up for a little girl when an unrelated adult was trying to bully her into giving up her seat in the hot tub. The Wild Waves staff is ethnically diverse, which is great for the overall culture of the water park and reflects the diversity of attendees. However, a few of the staff struggled with English to the point that they seemed unable to answer basic questions about the rides they were operating. There also were a couple of apathetic life guards that concerned me with their complacency towards addressing obnoxious or unsafe customer behavior like line-cutting or rough-housing in the lazy river. One major plus is that Wild Wave was brought under new management a couple years ago, and the new management seems responsive to guest feedback and is slowly, but surely, making improvements to the park. They put in stairs to replace a dangerously steep and slippery ramp. They replaced the water heater for the activity pool and raging river ride so those attractions are now enjoyable even on a chilly summer day. They also responded to guest feedback about Fright Fest: When they proposed limiting season pass holders to only getting in free the first few weekends, season pass holders expressed their discontent and they changed the policy before it ever went into effect. In 2018, we experienced a lot of problems with line-jumping and cutting at the haunted houses that made the lines ridiculously long (over an hour wait). This year, they added additional line queues/barriers, hired an outside security agency to patrol and manage lines, and posted signs saying you could be kicked out of the park for line-cutting. As a result, the line process went much smoother.

Very fun place to go with your kids. Love the water rides. The elephant ears with ice-cream, whip Cream and Jelly is so good you have to try if you go there. Aunties Anna is also really good.

We bought our first Wild Waves passes this year & so far theyve paid for themselves. My kids have had such an amazing memorable summer to date. We are definitely going to buy passes again next year along with a couple of meal plans so that the kids can eat when we dont want to bring our own food. Youre not allowed to bring your own food into the park, but you can pack a cooler with sandwiches & drinks & enjoy out in the parking lot. Food is expensive inside the park so I do suggest packing a cooler with all the goodies you & your family love.

During summer, better arrive 30mins before the open time, or youll find yourself waiting for 40mins to get onto the very first water ride. The biggest locker cost 20$per day, and medium cost 10$per day, which can all be paid by card. Recommendation: just walk out the park to get some lunch inside your viechle, and return without purchasing any food inside.

A great place for both water rides and dry rides (especially the roller coasters!). Would recommend bringing your own food, going out and then re-entering the park because the food there isnt that good. Wait times can sometimes be long, but thats just because of how fun the rides are. Love it there!

My husband and I took our 6 year old and her 7 year old cousin for their first trip to Wild waves for my daughters birthday and it isnt an inexpensive venture but she really wanted to go. For what it cost, I at least expected what is advertised as available rides and food, but I was very disappointed to learn, once we were at the park, that several rides were closed, then the pretzel trucks closed at least an hour and a half before the park closed and the candy shop that advertises cotton candy, fudge and caramel apples, sells cotton candy not fresh but rather in prepackaged bags from the same maker you can buy at a dollar store only the candy shop charges 4.99. The candy shop was also down to about a pound of 1 type of fudge that was so dry it was likely a couple days old and they were out of caramel apples by 7 and werent willing to dip more even though they had a bowl of caramel sitting on the counter next to 4 freshly dipped apples that were already sold. The staff appeared poorly trained, many of them couldnt even give directions to a map or a particular ride. Overall the girls had fun but there were disappointments for them and us but the park still made their money.

The biggest attraction of this place use to be the wave pool, i have looked through reviews to see if theyve ever given an explanation as to why the waves are basically ripples now and they cant seem to give their paying costumers one. Our family used to go every year and now we dont even bother anymore. This place has lost its fun. I understand safety is priority but satisfaction should be one too

Lots of rides, we were there for 8 hours and didnt even ride all of them. My kids loved everything but I have to say only 2 of the rides had a happy smiling face, we were greeted mostly by scowling what seemed like job hating faces. I felt like they would be just as happy throwing me off the slide as pushing us down it. I fell on the stairs coming out of the water and the girl just stood there with a disgusted look and looked away. Otherwise the park is great!

Awesome place for kids. Yes the lines can be long depending on what time of day you go. I recommend going during a weekday if possible. Bring your own food in a cooler in the car and take meal breaks.

The whole place is amazing. The food, the slides, the rides, the people. The lines are also quite short and youll have a maximum of a ten minute wait at any given line. The only downside is the prices. When you go to a place like this you wouldnt exactly expect low prices, but still, it seems a little high for where you are. But it is very much worth it, and I recommend that you plan your next family trip or hangout at Wild Waves Theme & Water Park.

Great great fun! In my sons words it was EPIC! The water park side is the best of course, and it gets more crowded with longer wait lines as the afternoon arrives. If you plan on staying primarily on this side its better to get a locker by the slides rather than right inside the entrance, thatll save you a lot of walking back and forth. Also, be prepared to climb a LOT of stairs!! Thrill side was fun and practically no lines in the hottest part of the afternoon. Overall, it was EASY to spend the entire day there.

I used to come here all the time as a kid and it was amazing. It is very disappointing it has gone so downhill. The roller coasters are fine. The mine carts are nearly always closed, the gambler was closed, and the scrambler was closed. We came for the water park for when it got hot too. We rented tubes to go down the raging river water falls. They were closed due to understaffing. So was the riptide. The wave pool had the wimpiest waves and they wouldnt let us go past 4 feet deep. They added way more food stalls by the water, but the actual water park is lacking. If I come back, it will probably only be during the holidays due to park being cheaper as the only thing that is slightly worth it is the roller coaster for that price.I do like Auntie Annies though.

Fun place to go with the family. Gets a bit expensive if youre just going once, but you can get season passes for a good price. When we went, one of the best rides was down all day and another broke when I was just about to get on. The 4 person water slide has a conveyor belt that carries the tube up for you which is really nice. Overall we had a great time here.

Half the attractions were closed, for repairs, during a THREE MONTH SEASON, seems like a lot out of service considering that they have nine months of the rest of the year to get everything running perfect so they don’t have to close during the very short busy season. Also who has a wave pool with no waves? They didn’t seem to let any fewer people in today, although 9 attractions were closed, than usual. The lines were unbelievable, however that did make for some interesting people watching....yikes, get it together wild waves, definitely bottom of the Barrel stuff today for sure!

We had a great time! The water in/on all the water rides is heated. There is plenty to do! We went at a great time as there wasnt any real waiting in lines like there has been in the past. The pricing for food isnt horrible like it usually is at theme parks. And you are allowed to go out to your car to eat and return if you need too.
