Stopped here twice for breaks on a long road trip (on both the there and the back parts!).There was a great covered area next to the playgrounds. It made it easy to take care of an infant while also giving our toddler some fun playground time. Great park for a pit stop!

Absolutely relish the experiences of serenity with the little ponds located adjacent to the ball field more so on the ftcc campus. Feeding The geese and fish are joyous. The park area has picked up alot of new visitors on account of the splash pad, and shade trees that canopy over the childrens play areas. All together this area is very family friendly.

Visited today. There was a church family playing kickball in the baseball field. A toddler soccer game in the grass, and two awesome playgrounds. They were building an addition, too! A happening place for kids!

I take my granddaughter to the splash pad here. The place is well kept and the park patrons are very nice. The children behave and parents keep up with their children. The equipment is in good working order and so is the playground equipment. We also use the walking trail with her scooter.

A nice park. A lot of homeless hang out there and a few of them drink. Unfortunately they also like to hit on the women there and make them uncomfortable and they seem really into trying to talk to the kids. I realize its a hard and lonely life but my wife and kid should not be forced to be a part of it when they are clearly uncomfortable and trying to walk away. The park itself was great. The homeless just made it far less appealing.

We always enjoy coming to this park. I like that there are two playgrounds. One for the smaller children and another for the bigger children. The activity board is still out of order but it is a great place to walk, ride your bike or walk your dog. We enjoy bringing our lunch and playing.

I walk this park daily! My dog enjoys it. I like an evening walk when the little children play ball because they are pure entertainment. When I walk mornings I often see the same people, and some I have made friends with. There is often a guy practicing the art of tai chi, some guys putting golf, and a lady doing yoga. Shortly after a large group of “stroller” parents exercise with their children. I enjoy seeing such a large group together getting fit! There is a walking track and the water park (free and seasonal) Pets are allowed on a leash. If you are looking for a public place to play and have fun, come on. If you are looking for perfect grass and beautification buy a ticket to the botanical gardens.

This place is nice. Play areas for the children are nice as well as there is a walking path, a gazebo with picnic tables and benches by the play areas so you can sit and watch your children play. On the back side is the brand new splash pad which adds to all the park has to offer. There are softball/baseball fields for recreational ball. I do not know what the seasons are for the fields. Also the Kiwanis club is part of the park, which offers fitness classes and has a gymnasium for basketball.

Honeycutt Park is a good place to take the kids, sometimes. There are all the usual playground items, a large open grass area, picnic tables, grills, a toddler playground, a walking trail, ballparks, the works. The downside is that its almost always crowded, and a few of the playground items are in need of repair or replacement (broken slide, some electronic wall thing). I frequently take my 5 yr old to play there, and there is plenty of shaded seating for the parents to keep an eye on the kiddos. I recommend, but give notice about crowds.

Wonderful park....excellent place for a family oriented activity, especially for children under 18. BBQ area, grassy grounds, walking paths, huge monkey and castle play areas, baseball park, huge parking area, and the most important site.. the Kiwanis Club building with a variety of areas inside. Plus..superior location, easy access points, centric location and super clean environments and more.. dont miss this place, once you discover what is all about it will become part of you and your family for ever.

Im giving this a 2 only because of my experience today. Never did I ever think Id have a complaint about the splash pad but at the same time, this review is towards the parents as well. Today, a young child went into the splash pad area with a big bag of cheeto puffs. I say big bag because it wasnt a snack sized one. Needlessness to say, some time went by and a child threw up. Im not pointing fingers at this specific child BUT when the color is orange... one can only assume. Now, as soon as I seen this mess, i walked inside the recreation center to report it so it could be cleaned up. The response I heard about my concern was, theres not really much that can be done.... one, that is not what I expected to hear and two, it took exactly 30-35 minutes for a worker to go out there and sweep it from the concrete into the grass (a 5 minute job if that). During the 30-35 minute wait for the cleanup, children were running through it and very few parents even realized.

Nice enough park although I question the layout of the playground for younger kids/toddlers. The setup makes it difficult to see your child from all areas of the playground without helicoptering over their every movement. The bigger playground looks like fun but is generally overstuffed with larger, aggressive children.
