I love Jefferson District Park because it is in my neighborhood and my wife and I can walk around the 9-hole golf course. They have a tennis wall and tennis courts. It is an absolutely beautiful place to view from outside the fence line if you follow the fence all the way around, especially during early spring time. Plus theres a small Plaza next door with a wonderful Burmese restaurant called Myanmar and she has the most amazingly tasty food. Go try it then you will know.Their Clubhouse has wonderful views,t-shirts on sale, clean restrooms and a delicious concession stand with good hot dogs and half smokes and other choices. Go give them a try.

The playground was too far from the parking lot for a quick trip to the playground, especially with a young child. But the convenience for the golfers was princess level.

Nice tennis facility for a public park and they have lights.

The 9 hole public golf course is one of the best in Faifax County. I enjoy the challenging greens on this executive course.

Its entertaining. Nice pace of playing and you can get it done in 90 minutes walking. There are lots of bugs, so bring bug spray.

Nice but the playground doesnt have much for kids

For a public golf course its well maintained (and wide open for hi-handicappers like me)!

Its fun but it really needs to be renovated. Many of the holes have seen better days. There arent very many places to play miniature golf and so it would be wonderful if this could be fixed up.

Great facility for Juniors and beginner golfers...

JDP is a fun, easy to walk 9 hole course with a variety of holes. Cant decide which is my favorite... the short par 3 #3 with the high power lines running down the fairway, #4 which doglegs over a pond or the very reachable par 4 9th hole.

This is a really chill court, and the lights are cool for late night games. normally a friendly crowd and has good traffic for pickup basketball games

Always a fun course to play. Close proximity from job and staff always fits me in. A confidence booster when game is awry.

Best little golf course in town, imo. A nine hole par 36 course with beginner friendly distances and tricky greens.

Good location and is near to 495 exit, route 66 and route 50!

Great place. This was our first visit here. They are opened until 8pm on sunday so it was a pretty good deal for a spectacular night weatherwise! $8 for adults and 7 for 12 and under. Holes are pretty clean except some of the fake water obstacles near the end. You will carry your score card since their are no clips on the stands.

Jefferson park is 1.6 km from marry field, park is huge one, many grounds for lawn tennis, basketball court, golf ground is also there, for children separate space is available. For parking lot of space is available, for walk separate space is available, here you will enjoy, environment is live and greenery is goodWe spent here two hours

We went to the playground. Its a simple playground. Not really suited for a toddler and we couldnt find any swings.

Good for what it is. Great 9 for beginners or looking to build confidence. Rounds can be slow at times.

I went and took my three children to the tennis courts. I found it to be pretty empty for summer but we did not complain. We played to our hearts content with no interruptions.I watched a couple people play putt putt and they appeared to really be enjoying themselves. Ill check that out next.Overall the park is very clean and kept up well. Diverse crowd of visitors and that is always pleasant.

For the actual playground, its a little small. The rest of the complex looks great for the designated activities.

Nice mini golf park. Its a great draw to youngsters and adults who want a relaxation hour. It is nicely designed and illuminated at night. Restrooms facilities are not up to par though. The place does need some cosmetic attention though.

What I like best here is the ligths. It was evening when we got there. 4 out of 4 basketball areas were full. 9 out of 10 tennis nets were being used.Generally, if you cannot find a basket available, you can find a basketball group to join but it is hard to find available tennis court. It is better to reserve one online.There are 3 tennis courts with 10 nets (I think). 4 baskets. 10 picnik tables.There is public golf course and mini-golf area too.

Cant get better than this for a 9 hole municipal. Unbelievable conditions, the grass is plush, green and inviting. The course layout itself is fantastic in that while it is a short course, it also has many options for each hole and YOU get to decide how you want to play it. Want to take on the drivable par 4 like DJ or Bubba? Maybe youd rather show off your wedge game and lay back like Zach Johnson - this course allows you to attack it however you want. Dont forget to grab some cheap (delicious) beer and reasonable (delicious) food from the friendly staff at the clubhouse

Nicely kept 9-hole adventure. Par 35 with only 1 par 5.

Value + convenience = my favorite course. Even tho its executive 9, two holes (5-399yd, 8-382yd) are long enough to swing a driver. Speed of play is hit-or-miss; generally takes 1.5-2 hours to finish. Its definitely not perfect, but anytime you can play 9 and still get home in time to put kids on bus, its a huge victory.

I tried going to Top Golf in Alexandria once on a Friday night to play mini-golf but encountered a two-hour wait period. However, when I came to Jefferson District Park on a Friday night, it was luckily devoid of people. There wasnt anyone to rush me or wait for me and I didnt have to wait for folks ahead of me to finish playing a hole. Plus, their parking lot is huge!The course is kept pretty well for being fairly cheap price-wise. Only $7 per adult. I think theres no need to have what I think is dyed blue water as a stream on the last few holes, but overall I think the green is kept in good condition. None of the holes are particularly challenging but for a golf amateur like myself, its not bad and its geared more towards beginners. Nonetheless its fun. I went through all the holes fairly quickly, about 45 minutes.They accept credit cards but they dont have a machine to run the cards though, so Id recommend bringing cash to speed up the process.

This park has tennis courts, basketball courts, picnic tables, grills, a walking path and is convenient to highway 29 or 495. There is even a seasonal mini golf course located here.The park is frequented by many in the area which means tennis courts are often all taken. Parking is more than sufficient for the space.

Mini golf is worth the money, actual course is great with a number of par 3s 4s and 5s, basketball court is good size and allows multiple groups to go on at the same time but the dropoff at the edge makes you chase after it for quite a distance. Tennis courts are well-maintained along with the practice wall. The child play area is what you would expect. There are several grills outside of the golf course for events and everything is within easy walking distance of each other.

This is a great 9-hole golf course that is perfect for a quick golf fix. I cant often get out for 18-holes but it only takes two hours to play this course.

Above average local 9-hole course. Long enough that you can use the driver from time to time.
