Fun place, our 6, 4, and 1 year old had a good time for a few hours. It was big and open, easy to see multiple inflatables from 1 spot- aka you can sit and monitor kids fairly well. The entrance to some of the toys had air leaks, but the interior appeared functional, minus a few fixtures that drooped (like the cheerio shaped one pictured). I give 4 stars because it didnt completly blow me away, though still a great place. There were 4 big kid toys and 2 smaller ones, maybe a dozen arcade games and 4 didnt work, and a toddler toy area. Overall a good place and I would return. The kids loved it.

My grandkids loved it great indoor fun on a cold day, love the security of not worrying about someone being able to leave with kids bracelets are actually checked getting to see Monkey Joe was a plus and the way he interacted with the kids not even at the birthday parties.

Awesome place for the kids to play & not expensive (if you have just 1-2 kids) Toddler Tuesdays are great for the wee lil ones as well, they dont get trampled by any big kids.

Lady working was very helpful and sweet. Though they need to have something posted that parents need to watch their children. Some older children were very rough acting and at two different times my 3 year old and my 7 year old were trampled on by three boys that were rough housing and probably between ages of 8-11. Parents paying no attention though were old enough to know better. Also wish the basketball and ski ball were working. All the kids had fun until the end when got hurt.

Great place for younger kids. Not very expensive at all. Only gave 3 stars cause half the games dont work and the food is not good and expensive. It still is a great place to take kids, they love it.

Love bringing the kids here usually but recently a lot of the arcade games are out of order.... Ski ball, air hockey are out of order & the crank machine game had literally 1 small ball in it but was still on for kids to dump money in?!? Just disappointing

Today was our first time visiting Monkey Joes (and I even considered having my sons birthday party here next month upon arrival), but I was left with distaste for the establishment. My son and my friends son, both toddlers, had a blast with the bounce houses and few arcade games, however, my friend and I were less than satisfied. Upon arrival the kids took interest to the bounce house with the climbing stairs and huge slide so, of course, being diligent mothers we went up with them to help, guide, and ensure they dont fall as well as to monitor their behavior on the equipment. Well, shortly after we slid down the slide a male employee came over and told us we could not get on/in the equipment at all. Well, thats fairly problematic considering our kids were 2 and 3 (and 1- she held him- but admission was paid for for all 3 children). He told us to watch from a distance, but keep away from the equipment, and that if our kids didnt feel comfortable playing without us that one of the employees would come play with and supervise our children. Shortly after telling us this he WALKED AWAY. Excuse me, but you expect us to keep our distance while our toddlers play without any sort of adult supervision? He didnt stay to supervise our toddlers and we werent allowed on the equipment- what if they fall or the other big kids trample them??? Are we just forced to watch it all occur because we arent allowed on the equipment AND they refuse to have employees supervising play (because theyre the only adults allowed on the equipment)? We have to request them to supervise play otherwise they just wander off to do who knows what in the back. All in all, I am displeased with this establishment and will take my business to Pump It Up, where parents are allowed to interact, engage, and supervise our children on the equipment- bounce houses.Also, it was suggested that we could keep our toddlers in the 3 and under bounce houses and we could assist them in those, however, those were so lackluster that even the kids refused to stay over in that corner with the three bounce houses.

For my 2y/o the price isnt bad ($6). But overall it seems to be falling apart. Id say 20% of the arcade games arent working and the under 3 section could use some love. It would be nice if there was a gate near the front door to stop little ones from escaping that could be helpful.

Quite few bouncers werent blown up but child still had fun. Almost all the hand sanitizer pumps were out which doesnt sound that bad but peoples feet, sweat and lots of children so regular sanitizing in between switching bouncers is necessary for germ reasons. Some bouncers looked dirty though couldve just been a child went in after eating without washing hands first. All in all great staff and cleaner than most places 10/10 would go again but would hope all bouncers are aired up for the price.

This visit was very disappointing. Numerous gaming machines were out of order. No signs posted out of order. They were also out of childrens size xsmalls & smalls in several of the t-shirts. Slushy machine was out of order. The prizes for tickets were also poorly stocked.

I would rate 1 star if it wasn’t for my kids at least having fun. That’s the only reason I am rating 2. For the amount they charge for a birthday party was not worth it. Sure we got a room and some pizza. But let me share with you the experience we had today. For 1. Was never explained How the party worked because you only get a certain amount of time. And then 2. With the package we paid for NOTHING WAS DONE. And we received NOTHING with the package that was suppose to be included. My babies had to walk around wanting a balloon THAT THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO GET when everyone else had balloons. And the employee said oh well we’re out of balloons. Then we had no extra plates no napkins no utensils which all were suppose to come with the party package. We ordered the sizes and colors of the shirts because my kids are toddlers and they gave them shirts way to big and not the right colors either. WE ALSO were suppose to get game cards for the kids to play arcade games and we never received those either.Overall felt that what we paid... $250 for a basic party that nothing was done correctly was very ridiculous. And we will NOT be recommending anyone to have a birthday party here. When you can spend that much money on a way better turn out some where else for your kids to enjoy.

Nice except some kid peed in the bouncy house

Pretty cool for the kids, they wont really complain. As a parent, I thought it was pretty underwhelming for the price. A few of the rides were down, and there were kids just running around aimlessly with no staff to tell them to be careful. I was constantly watching to make sure that kids werent going to get tackled like an NFL player.

Its a kids place. Noisy and you can imagine but the children love running free and there is good security. The only food they have is snacks and not worth eating and you have to order in pizza from dominos. Good luck with that. Its clean and sad they charge you for the stupid games and stuff. The popcorn looks good but I didnt get a chance to eat it.

Kids love it and not over priced. Would like a few more seats for parents when its busy.

For the smaller children they had fun. My 10 year old she wasnt really entertained. Money Joe needs to clean his costume. The staff was friendly.

First time from out of town. It was a great place for a rainy day. Eric was awesome. He really cared about kids having a great time. He had our kids in stitches laughing.

At a younger age my girls love monkey Joes. Eventually they outgrew it and go to more appropriate locations.

I recently took my 2 and 3 year old here for the first time and they had a great time. The employees working were really friendly and helpful explaining everything to us as we had never been before. I like that they allow parents to jump with their toddlers on the smaller inflatables, as my 2 year old was a bit unsteady for the first little while. The food is definitely overpriced, but that is usually the case at any of these type places.

The inflatables are not clean to begin with. Most of them are severely patched up and leak a great deal. The employees are rude and could care less about you or whats going on around them. I only took my son to try it out because we had free passes. Theres no way I would pay to get into there with the way it is. Maybe hire some employees who are able to handle a job around kids and do some cleaning. Two of the inflatables were gross and so dirty you couldnt even slide down the slides because they were sticky. It was really nasty.

Great place for kids to play on various slides, etc and video games, good food for kids.A little pricey to rent a room, for a kids party though.

The kids love jumping, thats for sure! My autistic son gets pure joy from the big, mesh walled bouncy in the back. He likes it because he can see out of it while jumping. Please, always have that option, and youll always have our business!

First time here. The blow ups were fun for the kids, I like that they have separate blow ups for small children. Bought a game pass for the arcade and 4 out of the 10 ish games were broken. We did get a few tickets for prizes, they have a nice selection of little prizes that dont cost too much.

Lots of fun for the kiddos to get some energy out, though about half of the arcade games were out of service.

Always good fun for a reasonable price. With all the rain lately, it was nice to have somewhere the kids could run off some energy.

If you live in the area buy the unlimited pass you will be back. Great place for the kids just keep an eye on Monkey Joe. Dont let him in any of the enclosed jump areas or kids will be hurt.

Fun place for the kids but the diwnside is a lot of the kids run wild and their parents dont suoervise resulting in my grandaughter getting run over or they cut in front. The employees do their best but they need a couple more patrolling and they need to kick some of the repeat offenderss out and ban them if they come back and do the same. The young lady who was a referee on my area was very quick to confront tye problem kids so I felt better. The employees deal with some real idiot parents..such ad..the mother who booked a birthday party for x number of kids and when several more came she refused to pay more for them. I cant understand the ignorance of some. You paid for say 10 guests..so when 15 showed up you have to pay for them.

The staff here are great! They are wonderful with kids and try to keep everyone safe and having fun. Its very clean and the fee isnt to bad. There are only four blow ups for big kids and two for 3 yr olds and younger. They have a nice corner set up with toys for toddlers to play with. The Nachos were pretty good, but the candy and pretzels tasted stale. I wish they allowed kids over twelve to play, but I understand why they dont. All in all we had a good time.

Grandson had lots of fun. Prices are pretty good. Security when leaving should be better.

This place is fabulous! So glad I stopped here on a long road trip with my 3yr old son. He had a great time and I was allowed on the smaller kids section with him (contrary to what another review said). Very clean and nice people.

I bring my kids here during the week sometimes and let them run out their energy. They could go forever if I let them and always have a good time. Place is clean and I feel comfortable with my kids playing on the equipment. Weekends get too hectic for me with lots of kids everywhere.

I would not recommend going to this one. Their “safety system” is an absolute joke here. No one checked our bracelets as we walked out to make sure we weren’t taking someone else’s kid. The workers just stood there and watched us walk out. I’ve taken my child to the one in Peoria and they were very diligent about checking everyone before you could leave. They had a (movable) gate blocking the entrance/exit and someone was always there to check.

Horrible experience, currently contacting legal avenues. Does not deserve even one star.

Monkey Joes is awesome. Birthday parties are by schedule only, but you can go there during open hours and pay a flat amount and just play.The bounce houses are various sizes, including an area for preschoolers only.Adults can only get on the bouncers in the preschoolers area, there is free WiFi for adults to enjoy while the kids have an awesome time.Reasonably priced, large enough for the kids to really enjoy.

Had a lot of fun with our group. Just disappointed to see less bouncers. But we had fun!! The staff is the best!

We did not have a good experience with monkey Joes. We had my sons fourth birthday party here on January 26. We waited over an hour for the pizza to be delivered, the kids were starving and cranky. Then monkey Joes charged us twice for the birthday party which caused us to overdraft in our checking account. As of yet we still have not been refunded that money. They refused to refund the overdraft fee that they caused us. I will never have a party here again nor do I plan on ever taking my kids here again.

Updated review: we have gone back since my last review and I noticed happily that they had fixed most of the machines.This place used to be nice, with working inflatables and plenty of games, however it has gone downhill significantly which has compelled me to write this review. Unfortunately the kids like to go here so as parents we are at MJs mercy despite what a ripoff it is. The previous time we went there were two inflatables (a large and a small) not blown up but yet charged full price for both admissions. Today we were here and while all inflatables were working there were several other disappointing and unacceptable factors. Out of the approximately 21 game machines there were 10 that were not working, turned off, and/or in various states of disrepair. The machines take a purchased game card loaded with bananas and each game is X number of bananas to play. At least two of the working games deducted more bananas than indicated to play and one deducted the bananas but the game would not function. I brought the latter to an employees attention who reloaded the two bananas but did nothing to solve the underlying problem, such as taking the machine out of commission, so many others wasted their bananas in turn.Additionally, at the snack bar I asked for a regular size Icee which was listed on the digital menu board as $2.79, but when I was given my total it was almost $4. When I questioned the price difference I was told nonchalantly that the Icee prices recently went up by $1 which left me scrambling for pocket change because I chose the selection based on the listed price and the $3 I had on me. So the question still remains, why didnt they reflect the recent price changes on the menu screen?! For the profit this place no doubt brings in with admissions in addition to the hidden charges you would think they could put some money into fixing the place up.

17 month old was a little young but he had a blast. You can go in the bounce houses with the younger kids to help them out. Definitely had a good time.

For the price I paid, I expected to get more out of it. When asked if my son wanted to at in the arcade, I expected to see a decent set up. Instead its a few machines set up off to the side and almost none of them are below my sons age level except the games to try to win stuff you probably wont win.

Been here lots of times but the most recent I was a bit disappointed. The inflatables were great as always but the timing and flow of a birthday party I attended was extremely slow and monkey Joes costume was dingy and dirty. The kids didnt notice other than having to wait a very long time, but I was a bit disappointed.

Area for children under 3 is not safe for kids. Foam blocks are falling apart, plastic chair has crack which kids can get their fingers stuck in, plastic house is obvioulsy spray painted and some paint is coming off. Dont take your child unless they are old enough to go threw blow ups. Waste of money for children under 3. But also not managers complete fault they can only work with what they have. Manager told me she patched up a inflatable 3 times today. Corporate needs to give them new stuff and replace the carpet in the place. Oh and one of the toliets was leaking really bad in the womens restroom.

I came to monkey joes at 2:05 pm and brought 6 kids. The price to get in isn’t bad, $8.99 on Monday’s. I see why now though. I thought we could eat here as advertised on the website. The pizza looked really old, as if it had been in the warmer for a couple days, so we decided to try a pretzel first. Good thing we only tried one. After waiting for it took cook for five minutes, we received it and it was as hard as a rock. Okay maybe not a rock but at least as hard as a...let’s say a window. It would break but hard to do so with your hand. I told one of the workers and he said “oh sorry about that” No mention of a refund or offer of another selection. It’s now 2:40 pm and I have to leave because the kids “Have” to eat. No worries I think, we will run and get fast food and come right back. Well that’s not the case. Not without paying the $8.99 for each kid again. I asked about a refund-“ Unfortunately no I can’t refund your money” what about the pretzel? No I’m sorry I can’t. Wow monkey joes! I appreciate you guys focusing on what’s important-The kids and your customer service. If you’re ever wondering why it’s so hard for franchise businesses to survive and be profitable these days, it’s because you can’t keep your customers in your place of business and you cannot earn repeat business with this type of service.

I like the security bracelets that the children and parents wear to make sure each child leaves with the correct adult. My kids are 3.5 and 1.5, and they have fun on the smaller inflatables. I think once they are older, they will enjoy it more. We usually only stay 45 minutes to an hour because they do start to get bored. For this reason, its a tad overpriced for preschoolers who cant enjoy the bigger inflatables. The staff has always been friendly, and they recently added some new stuff that the kids really liked.

The staff does not monitor the play area at all and weve had problems with our 7 year old grandson being bullied. The new ticketing system doesnt work properly and my 11 year old grandson was not credited the proper amount of points when he hit the jackpot on one occasion. Dont appreciate taking my kids to have fun and leaving with them in tears because of poor management and faulty equipment.

I have mixed feelings about this location. We do go fairly often but sometimes it is great and friendly staff and other times they let ppl walk out without checking their braclets to assure families leave together but then yell at others for trying it when they just watched someone else walk out without being checked..... just no consistency really

About half the games were out of order one of the bouncey houses had to be deflated to repair a hole at the entrance which made kids fall into that hole. It made it hard for kids to enter it.

Good time. I had 9 kids with me alone and with the way they watch the door and have several employees on the floor i felt safe

Booked a party there, and was mislead. You sign up for 2 hours but only get the room for an hour. When you do get the room it is 45 minutes after the start time. Definitely not worth the amount they charge.

What is the point of me buying a game card so he can play games when 85% of your games dont work? And the basketball game that you have has one basketball that looks like its been chewed on by a bunch of dogs.

My daughter LOVES this place. She is almost 2 and asks to go everyday. We go s couple times a week in the winter. There is an awful food selection so we always leave for lunch. It is a great place to burn off energy. And the inflatables are all brighy colors so I use the opportunity to teach colors and animals. Lots of in out lessons, over under, and motor skills.

My experience today made me want to never return. We booked a room for a birthday party but were told we had to vacate after one hour. Since it was a 2 hour party we assumed we could leave our things until the time was up. That was not the case. The adults had to clear out the room including shoes, coats and treat bags. The children were upset as well as the adults. Overpriced and underwhelmed.

This is an awful monkey Joes. There are only 5 inflatables for the bigger kids and 3 for the smaller kids and they werent even good ones. And no adults are allowed on to help any age. At other monkey Joes at least I was able to help ages 4 and under. Thats what I expected coming to this one. So since I have a 4 and 1.5 year old it was a big disappointment and a waste of money. The WiFi sucked and there wasnt nearly the amount of seating Ive seen at other ones. My kids got bored after about 45 min. They sat down to color. They shouldnt need to color at monkey Joes. At a real monkey Joes they have 10-15 good inflatables, allow the parents on to help the little ones and my kids could have spent 3-4 hours there. In which case they would have gotten much more money out of me since I would have spent money on food and games. But since everyone got so bored we left long before I could be tempted to spend anything other than the entrance fee. I also feel like the food prices were higher here than other ones too, but I could be imagining that one. Anyway, very disappointed. Will not be going back to this one. Ever.

This place is terrible with party planning... waited 2 hours for pizza... the kids enjoyed the bounce house the manager did what she could do...

We basically walked in, stayed five minutes, and asked for a refund. They gave us a pass for next time instead and one of the girls was nice enough to give us a free ball because the baby wanted one. It was a mad house and honestly not as clean as the Chuck e cheese only a mile away .

Only reason I gave it two stars is because my kids did manage to have fun...BUT I was far from impressed walking through the door. I thought it was just me until another parent commented on how dirty the carpets were. The fact that they were under staffed & selling what looked to be old Dominos pizza that had sat all day at 3.00 a piece was far beyond ridiculous. Not to mention the manager that was on duty tonight who cleary could have cared less what was going on. LITERALLY sat there and let the other manager on duty (Eric) deal with EVERYTHING from cleaning to angry customers. He (Eric) really was the only saving grace among the whole staff he was the only one attempting to help the customers the best way he could. Aside from him the rest of the customer service was UNPROFESSIONAL. It was my first time here & definitely maybe my last.

Monkey Joes is a great way to entertain you children for a while. The kids love it and the staff are careful to not let children leave with the wrong adults.

My main issue with this place is there is no supervision of the bounce houses. I had a small toddler in the 5 years and younger bounce houses and kids that appeared to be around 9-10 years old were coming in and being too rough around the smaller kids.

Are you serious? First encounter with an employee and she smells of body oder, all the bouncers and empty and for some reason I cant play with my son. Hes asking my to play but I gotta tell him no because Im not allowed. This place is weak sauce. You can rent a bouncer for your home and have more fun then in this place. absolutely horrible.Sincerely,Disappointed parent

The workers are young and seem like they would rather be some where else. Line to get into the door took a while as only one girl was working the counter. Bathroom was in desperate need of attention. Wet floors and over flowing trash cans. It will be a while before we go back.
