Fairhopers Community Park

We love this park. It is in need of repairs though. They need a better gate lock system, the baby swing was cracked in the leg holes where it could easily pinch legs.

Beautiful park! It has two playgrounds! One for small children ages 2-5 and one for older children. There is also a fence that has beautiful artwork.

What a beautiful park! Plenty for my 1 and 3 year old to do. Restrooms were clean. Cant wait to go back!

Very nice place, we traveling with my 3 year old daughter and stopped today near this beautiful place. Big trees, playground for for small and bigger children, nice splash playground, restroom. Adults can make some workout while they kids playing. Good and clean place.

Great playground, although some of the areas around the equipment need to be repaired.

Wonderful park for kids. Splash park and all kinds of different things for them to play on. It has a bathroom in the park and is enclosed by a fence with a gate. Its always very clean. Best childrens park in Baldwin County that Ive found so far. It was remodeled in the last few years and is very safe.

Wow! What a park. Both my 3- and 1-year-old had a blast. This was our first-ever trip to Fairhope — with so much of the town being about shops and fancy restaurants, it was great to know we could walk our young children to the park. It was extremely clean and provided a lot of options for playing on different things.

This park is FANTASTIC. So much to do! My kids will run and play for hours...and thats not an exaggeration! One time we were there over 2 hours and I still got push back when it was time to go because they still wanted to play.

If I was a kid this is what I would want a park to be. Lots of equipment for climbing, sliding and playing plus a big open grassy area for running around and having fun. There are always families in the park enjoying this fabulous facility.

A very popular park with a large fenced in area, plenty of cool things for the kids to play on, a splash pad for the warmer months, and plenty of seating for the adults. Even a gazebo where birthday parties and gatherings are frequently held. However, the gate is broken, as are a few of the pieces of playground equipment. All in all a fun place to bring the kids, but could use some attention from the city of Fairhope.

We absolutely adore the Fairhope park and have for years.The kids enjoy being able to go from the dry park to the wet park without having to get back in the car.My only complaint is that there is very little shaded seating for parents.

One of the finest small-town parks Ive yet to see. This place has tons of attractions including a small splash water park for the little ones, large scale xylophones and lush green grass. Most places are shaded.

My son loved it, however when we went, there were a lot of bigger kids & he got run over and knocked down several times. I do not recommend going during lunch time when it’s packed.

Such a beautiful park and community. Was that last weekend for Mardi Paws Parade and loved every single thing about it.

While visiting family I took my kids to the park on a very hot day. I didnt know what to expect but the park is very nice. Fully surrounded by a high fence with limited entrances/exits. We did not visit the water area but it looked nice. The playground area is clean and visibility in the park is good. Its in a very nice area and the park seems well kept.

The community park has some great features for kids of all ages. Theres plenty of shade trees planted. Safety ground cover under the tall playsets. I see kids from tots to teens out here. Theres a splash pad as well. Picnic areas. Im not sure what else a park could use...

You can meet a whole bunch of friends there and let your kids play and meet others even during this pandemic

Love this park! Me and my family had a great time here while visiting. Very clean, modern, and well kept. Well be back to visit again!

Has a water play area, smaller children play area area and a larger one. My child loves all of it and played non stop. Then slept great :)

This is very kid friendly and an awesome play place

If you have ever been to downtown Fairhope you know its nice, wealth tends to do that. This park is no exception. It has a nice playground, some musical playthings, splash pad, and a few pavilions. You usually dont have to worry about poor people running around acting crazy, so thats a bonus.

Nice park. Theres a splash pad for the littles, along with other playground favorites, and a xylaphone . Dogs are welcomed but must remain leashed. Theres also a pavilion so bring a picnic lunch.

Great park. Just gave it one star to lower the rating to keep the crowd down.

Great park, my grandson loves it. It has a lot of different activities for different ages including a splash park. It is fenced and has a restroom. Very clean. Someone needs to edit the name and correct it. Fairhopes not Fairhopers.

It was a lovely day with my granddaughter. The relaxing swings were relaxing! It was an easy walk to the ice cream shop too

This playground was reinvented. Whereas the old play ground was built mostly out of wood the revived play ground is modern, with very interesting equipment and a terrific splash pad. Especially nice are the softer surfaces where the play ground equipment is located. The children had much fun.

Really nice community park. Play equipment, musical equipment, a water park area, picnic tables, shaded with trees.

Great park for the kids. Fully fenced with a little walking track. Easy visibility around the park in case you have multiple kids running around.

A great place to have fun on the weekends

We love the park but it needs some sun shades. The slides and stuff is too hot to play on! Also, the sand Spurs over by the splash pad are crazy bad!

Its a decent park but its starting to fall apart. The foam ground has missing chunks and some of the equipment is broken and falling apart. When it started to get dark termites were flying around in the covered sitting area.

Fun, all three kids love it. Theres a splash pad during the warm seasons. Its clean and well maintained. Fenced in completely. The equipment is surrounded by safety padding so even if the kids do tumble there isnt a scraped knee to worry about. There are plenty of slides and even an area for the younger kids. Plenty of seating and a nice pavilion to keep parents shaded.

Wish it had more shade. But we attended a birthday party there and it was okay.

Love love love this place. 2 gazebos if you choose to throw a party of some kind. The larger one even had electrical outlets to help keep food warm. Public restrooms, a splash pad (that looks like a pirate ship) and a large playground. Its all gated with safety latches so the children are safe to run around. During the summer and ice cream truck will usually come through a couple times a day as well. Overall, its one of the best parks to take your kiddos. Theyll love it & youll enjoy yourself as well.

The Fairhoper’s Community Park is a great park. There is a huge play area, canopies to have lunch or set up a party, and various seating around the park. There is also a splash area for warmer times. Our children loved the park and if we were closer we would come regularly!

The playground was awsome, and the swimming place was for little kids and cold it would be good to make it like a little baby pool, and today someone liked the gate there was a chain with a lock on it so really anyone couldve locked it so move the chain so it doesnt happen again

Liked it better when it was wood but I know it was old an time for new one. The kids always love to go an play.

This park is fabulous and those slides are huge!

I expected more from the once great city of Fairhope. The park was not well maintained and the restrooms were filthy.

A wonderful place for all ages

One of the best kid parks in the area. They have an area for smaller children and a larger play area for bigger kids. A lot of benches to sit at and 2 large areas for birthday parties. Theres even a splash pad!

My baby girl loves the Pirate Ship. Great way to incorporate the Fairhope Pirate logo. WY to go Fairhope, your always a notch above.

Clean park with a large playground. Splash pad is on one side and park is on other which can make it hard to watch multiple kids at the same time.

My kids love this park. Lots of things to play on. Good for older kids and toddlers. The ground is this bouncey rubberish type of stuff. Really helps when the kids fall.

We love it area. Its open and conformable. Enjoyable for the kids and for the adults good seating. Just needs more places to sit down.

We have always loved this park and the remodel is wonderful soft rubber ground and so many fun things to play on. Also really surprised with the musical toys the park has a pleasant sound. Didnt get to play on the splash pad Just wonderful all together.

Delightful little park in downtown Fairhope, close to shops, restaurants, nearby waterfront, Senior Nursing Home. Lots of walkability both in the park and all directions to/from the quaint little park.

Excellent park - fenced, good for both big and small children. Water play area with spitting crocodiles etc. Soft rubber areas around all play surfaces. Good shade, benches, and tables.

My kids love this park! They love playing the instruments, playing pirate on the ships, and playing in the splash pad.
