A must-see if youre on the road around there. The house is outstanding! And we even had the honor to meet the artist in person in his painting studio. He was lovely and very kind, with great stories to tell.

The Mosher Castle is very interesting. I loved the koi ponds and landscaping as well.

Wonderful place to visit with a knowledgeable and personable artist where he and his father-in-law Craig Shelton created such clever homes.

Dean Mosher is the true masterpiece himself....he is by far the most talented artist/historian I know! I have had the pleasure of viewing many of his finest works of art displayed throughout this great country. If ever in DC or Virginia, I highly encourage you to visit his historical masterpiece of the John Paul Jones, prominently displayed at the University of Virginia as well as visiting one of his latest tributes to the Wright Brothers that can be enjoyed at the Air & Space Museum in DC.

Mr Mosher himself invited us in to look around and he was so knowledgeable and friendly and nice! The castle is amazing and so much history just in the outside! Straight out of a fairy tale!!!

Some of the greatest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only does this family`s beautiful imagination help restore the kid in us all, they are just down right great people. I wish them great luck and prosperity, and I hope I get another chance to visit this slice of fantasy paradise.

Dean Mosher, Americas historical artist tells stories with his large-scale murals, stories about heroic acts that changed the course of history. He researches everything he paints so thoroughly, he always finds significant facts that differ from the commonly accepted historical record. Thats just one of the things that make his work so interesting. His current exhibit at the Eastern Shore Art Center in Fairhope, AL is the first stop on a state-wide tour to celebrate Alabamas 200th birthday.
