Most awkward experience Ive ever had at a Micheals store. Felt like i was being harrassed by the employees. One in particular who was a short older lady with short curly hair abruptly asked, as I was walking minding my own business, if I needed help with anything. Threw me off guard a little, as she was not even looking at me when she said it, so I didnt know who she was talking to. I replied that I was just looking for something. She said under her breath, just making sure your not up to something. Then as I was leaving, I was waiting to leave at the entrance/exit, and she was there saying, Im not sure what YOURE doing. While I was waiting for people to leave or exit so I could fit through the door. Felt like overall the employees can be a little pushy. Then again, probably not their fault in this case. Probably a management thing. Ive been shopping at different micheals locations for years and have never had a problem. I understand we are in a pandemic, and workers are putting themselves in harms way to get by. I do too. I get it. Still, Im never rude to my customers. The world doesnt owe you a favor lady. Stop pointing your finger at it. You should know this by now.

Love Michaels because they have so many interesting things to see and decorations for every season! It just makes you happy to look around! Theres so much potential to make something youve never tried to make. Its inspiring.

A lot of nice things to buy it make and sale items

Who ever is stocking or putting back returns needs to do a better job, because every single fabric cutter I picked up was in the wrong place the price where it was placed was wrong it would be very much higher... I had the associate to do a price check, so I went online and order it for a better price.

Michaels employees are top-notch. The prices arent great...but they do price match.

Not good whatsover. This location lags behind in two main areas: a wide variety of available goods e.g. as upholstery tacks and subpar customer service. At least the cashier lady was helpful.

My overall experience was great but the employes are some times a bit to over pushy always asking if i need assistance.... No thank you if i do i will ask.. Other than that store is clean employes (most of them) are friendly.

Im so glad Michaels is open. The staff is knowledgeable and always up beat.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I recently ordered a frame for one of my pictures. They told me that it would be done by August 2nd. We went in three times to see if it was ready, and they kept telling me that they havent received the product (frame) I understood until today. I was fed up by the wait and how rude they were. I asked for a refund, and they were so rude. The lady helping me out would grunt after saying that I didnt have my card, and I would like my money back in cash. She got mad and stormed away to go to another cash register. She never said to follow or stay, so we waited, and she comes back yelling, are you coming or not. All we asked was for a refund and got this? Then she goes and talks about my race? And says comments like these people ...Hispanics and rolls her eyes? Id like a number to give a complaint, please.

Its a little run down but still has a decent selection and is more affordable than hobbly lobby. The staff is always super nice too.

Love the fall season at Michaels. Employees are helpful and store is clean and organized. The only problem was only 2 registers open and really long line.

Michaels is a very nice store to shop at for your hobby or craft needs. Its in a nice location to get too. And always parking for everyone.

I had shared with an associate that my house had burned June 3rd. I was being causes what I bought. When I got to the register the associate said her coworker suggested they give me an associate discount. That just made me cry and made my day.

Picked up some cute frames for my daughter to paint on. Nice place, easy to get to. Store was set up for Christmas. Short waiting times.

The manager was really helpful in directing me to the right aisle. I found and bought a lot of items on sale that I didnt plan on buying. The waiting time in line was very short. The only down fall was when it was my turn to be waited on the employee closed his register and left without any explanation.

This is a great art and craft store.

If could rate 0 stars I would. Ordered online for in-store pick-up. Was given 1 incorrect but similar item. When went back to return, was treated poorly by the staff. Who insisted it was impossible for me to be given the wrong item, and then once realized pick slip showed 1 of 2 correct SKUs, first insisted I wasnt charged if I didnt get 2 of correct item. When I showed them my online order and charge, offered to return it on a gift card. Finally got my money back, but never got an apology. Terrible service! If there was a zombie apocalypse, and this was the only store that sold axes, I wouldnt go.

Great online coupons

Only art supply in town. Got the market cornered and they know it. Online would be cheaper but having an easy in & out brick is nice. Plus you can bring your dog in store with you. Now its a fun field trip!

A fun place to get into spending trouble when searching for craft items.They have a large selection of great ideas for any occasion and they are reasonably priced. A good place for sales and discounts.

I always like going to Michaels and getting new creative ideas. Plus being a member you get great coupons on their website.

Nice and clean Michaels with nice people but they are hard to come by. The price for framing is crazy expensive. Can find better prices in the local area. Is nice to fine simple thing you need for projects.

Nice store. However, there is never enough store workers to help the customers. Thats been my experience when I go in & again on this visit. I had to look for someone to help me twice. When I found someone to help, they were happy to tell me where the items were that I was looking for instead of taking me to the location. It definitely does not appear they are customer focused.

Came here looking for a Blick Sketch Book. The employee who I asked to find it had never heard of it (Kind of weird). Nevertheless, the employees are very friendly and the store is well stocked.

Amazing place for crafters of any kind! I usually buy my planner stuff here but I recently starting crocheting and they have AWESOME prices for the spring sale. The cashiers are always friendly to me even when returning items and all that extra headache with making sure I have all my coupons added correctly!(:

Always a great experience at Michaels! There isnt too many down sides they have all of the supplies youll ever need including disposable air brush kits.Only down side I would say is it is a tad expensive but you pay for quality!

Its okay for a Michaels. They seem to carry darn near everything one would need but not in huge quantities. From what I could tell, almost all shelves were neat, tidy & stocked. Polite staff are helpful and courteous. Their yarn selection is pretty decent, they had a couple of skeins that I have yet to find elsewhere.With all that said, the store does feel cramped & is dimly lit. Although there are multiple registers only one seems to ever have a cashier at it regularly. Expect a line of 3-5+ people at all times, while taking between 5-20 minutes to get through the line.

Phone service is not that great, but the store is very clean and the staff are very helpful. Prices are a too high. For example, at walmart a water color pad was 4.99 and here it was priced at 11.99. Thats a huge difference and prices shouldnt be that high...

Gary friendliest cashier. They dont always have what you need. Selection good on certain things but not a lot of choice on card crafting items, embellishments, stamps, etc.

Limited selection. Messy stores. Never enough staff. Often out of whatever Im looking for. New competition is coming to town, well see how that goes.

Cashier treated me like she had better things to do. I watched her be bubbly and upbeat with everyone and greet them with Hi! or Hello! but when it was my turn I didnt even get a hey. I got nothing. She didnt say one word to me except to ask if I wanted a bag, mid purchase.When I was done I said thank you for my receipt and she said Mmm hmm. I wanted to ask if I bothered her because she has to do her job? Seriously. But I let it go. As I walked away the next person got a big HELLO!!!Unreal. I called back to the store to complain. Customer service was not there. Dunno if it was race, age, because I was creeping along with my cane and couldnt move fast. No clue. She just wasnt into me as a customer. Was leaving a message for the manager. Turns out it was her who answered the phone. Said shed turn herself in. Right? Didnt even ask my name.Unreal day in Michaels land.Never had that experience at Michaels.

It was a bad day, I needed supplies for my sons science fair project. Thier system was down so cash only, I wasnt told this when I arrived and was waiting in line for 15 minutes. I had to leave my items and return. We get to the front and *everything goes black* Great, electricity went out... and yet we wait another 15 min for systems to reboot. They kept saying it was hot outside, the systems overheated.. but it was 60 degrees outside, kinda colder. No, here is a discount to anyone for your inconvenience. No, I am sorry you had to wait. Nothing.

Went here with my girlfriend to buy some beads and paint and a few other art supplies. Lots of helpful staff. A little too helpful, if truth be told. In just about every aisle we went we were approached by staff from asking if we needed help finding anything. I started feeling like I had done something wrong, or that I was acting shady somehow.

They didnt have the BOGO items I was interested in. Its happened more than one. That being said, they have a large selection of stuff, and offer military discounts on top of thier deals, and thats always nice.

I was looking for a seasonal item that Michael’s carries each year for back to school. Unfortunately I could not find the color I was wanting at my local Michael’s. So upon visiting the Michael’s in Fairfield, CA Mary provided such amazing customer service. She and her team not only checked their stock but went above and beyond by calling additional stores to check inventory levels, to see if they held the color I was looking for. Even though we were not successful online or in the stores around where I live, I do appreciate Mary’s time and effort.

I absolutely love this store. Staff are friendly, its always clean and all around I just love it.

The Fairfield store has really gone downwards. The aisles look chaotic. Not much in the toy section aside from toy crafts. Lot of garbage left on the shelf by patrons. Actually saw a cup that had mold inside of it.

I love this place. I always go for one thing and end upcoming out with 10 things or more. They always have great deals, look at their adds they change deals weekly.

Michael’s offers almost everything you could want for crafts and writing. They have great sales and always have a coupon in their flyer. The employees are helpful to assist you finding something you desire in the maze of stuff. The aisles are not very wide and I sometimes get stuck with my wheelchair but can usually make my way to where I want to be. They have a huge area with stationary supplies on sale. Good fun store.
