Humble facilities but friendly staff. Good experiences with childcare so far.

If you are black or different color other than white don’t go to this branch, they have no clue what multicultural society is living in their neighborhood. They will treat you like you came from a different planet. I can tell you so many things happened over the past 10 years to my family but you will understand when you see it with your own eyes. I stopped going to this place after my son was assaulted by another child and the management did nothing but to blame the victim.

Very surprised that their overall rating is over 2 stars. Very old facility, staff seems uninterested and misinformed. Horrible communication about childcare hours. The heater always seems to be on...even peak of summer, I thought there was a sauna since it felt so hot. Old machines. Pool wasn’t heated. Just terrrrrrriiiiiible.

It wasnt anything special. Childcare workers put off weird vibes and was pretty dirty. We hadnt gone for about 8 months between pregnancy complications and adjusting to new baby. We had autopay to pay our membership still. For some reason, it stopped pulling payment and we didnt realize it until 3 months after. This caused them to say we had to rejoin. Miscommunication involved our credit card being charged before any paperwork was drawn up. Rude worker. She claimed she would void the charge. It posted the next day. I called and got told to email. Just roundabout mess that I feel will be annoying to deal with.

Great place to workout, just need a membership and you’re good to go. Their camps are great.

Bathrooms are really clean. The staff are really kind ive been coming here for years and know most of them. The gym however has equiptment breaking constantly and is out of order. The pool is always up to date on chemicals. But other than the gym its amazing.

This place tradh, gym is full of warn down equipment with dirty lay out mats to stretch, the basketball court is always half court cause they cannot afford another gym meant for the old people to go to, or for the little kids to play basketball, and filled with people playing soccer or volleyball when it’s a b-ball court, but they’re too damn cheep.

The staff working at the MillCreek YMCA locations needs bit more coaching on handling customers. It was bit unfortunate that I got the annual membership and class for $380, however I missed taking note of the class timings thinking that I would be getting notification or would be able to view the details online. It is a pity that the portal lacks this feature and after making the payment, all that a person could view is ### number or code of the class, but no further details. Since I made the payment, I called up the MillCreek YMCA branch seeking help to view the details of the class that I purchased. The lady who picked up the call was very apprehensive from beginning and sounded like she just has no interest to listen to my concern or offer any help. It is a shame that customer service representative does not want to help and you are left with no options as there is no way to contact anyone over mail. (Really?)A bit more coaching on handling customer would help gain customer trust and better experience for YMCA members. Hope someone takes this note seriously.

Please dont put your child here in daycare service ..its full of illness and unhygienic.. whenever i put my kids here they caught with new viral ...i have unregistered here after 3 months in which i went obly for 20 days due to my kids sickness ... Please think twice before putting your kids in daycare service.

Great staffs and great facilities. Me and my daughter use the swimming pool and the gym. Well maintained pool.

A great place that is perfect for families. The few issues that I’ve had over the years have always been addressed and improved. That being said, always check the calendar, sometimes they close for improvements and cleaning.

I used to go to YMCA somewhere else and i love there but we moved from there. Today was first time for me to be there and so disappointed. Old gym, So bad air conditioning, old towels, old equipments, small gym aria, and all the sanitizer s was empty. So so bad experience.

After having a bad experience at the shoreline one, of being accused of stealing, which I find to be very distasteful. To the staff here being nothing but helpful, smiling, glad your here type of staff. Plus there are way more young attractive staff members here too, always a bonus!!!!!

Came from Gig Harbor YMCA (Great) to this gym for 2 weeks.The staff dont seem to know their own stuff, rules for guest visits etc. You have to sign in on a paper every single time and bring ID. Some days you dont need ID, some days you do. The last day I went they told me I couldnt go there anymore because apparently my temporary gym membership doesnt apply anywhere else but Gig Harbor (Even though Ive just spent 2 weeks here).Another thing is the gym itself, the benches are horrible (wobble whenever you touch them) They dont the maintain the machines (read smith machine). Last but not least, the gym is way too small for the amount of people that are in there, loads of powerlifters and if youre unlucky, you wont be able to touch a barbell throughout your workouts.

I have had a membership with the ymca for years and I love it so much the staff so sweet and welcoming and I have never had a bad experience

For a year and a half, I have been doing water aerobics at least 3 times a week at the Millcreek Y. The facility is clean. The instructors lead good workouts and make exercising fun. The front desk staff, at the Millcreek Y, always greet the customers, warmly and cheerfully. They all are articulate in explaining the facility membership policy. Each person, employed at this Y, is kind, friendly, and encouraging, making the Y staff and members feel good about being there.

We like the programs they have, but have been disappointed several times by the communication, or lack thereof. They are often understaffed, which I understand, but thats no excuse for not returning calls or following up on things they say they will do. We continue to be members bc of the programs close to home, but I really wish they could improve their systems.

Love the friendly atmosphere here and the other exercisers are friendly, along with the staff. Had a small issue with staff communication when I first registered, but that was resolved. My husband and I go specifically on Wenesday nights to volleyball and love it.I only wish the childcare would be open more. They are closed mon, wed, fri, from 1:30-3:30, so I feel like I have to plan around that sometimes. I understand their reason though. Not enough kids are there to make it worth the money to pay employees.All around, its a good gym.

We love the variety of classes they have, pretty clean and friendly ( so far, we had aCouple of issues on Wednesday nights with a certain person in child watch,but if it continues we will for sure address it to whoever really cares)we wish they would have more time for child watch, and probably more equipment in the weight room, we do hope that in the future theyd incorporate more TRX classes! Thanks!

Basketball gym is always closed till 5:15 every weekend and it’s wack use it some place else like the other rooms. Not the basketball gym it’s for only basketball cmon coach

Disappointed not able to go swimming due to not enough lifeguards and had to go home. And there is no way to know ahead of time.

It is a place as children training center or after school. Not a good gym for adults.
