Their range is great for handguns. Staff is very knowledgeable and take safety very seriously.

Dont trust the info on the website. I read through it thoroughly and chose this range specifically because their list of not-allowed ammo did not include M-855 5.56mm. Only after giving them our personal information and paying the highest price membership did they say you cant use that. And like many others have mentioned... theyre not the most polite people. I wasnt arguing or insisting, I simply pointed out that it wasnt on their list and for that, the nasty attitude came out. To be fair its one person but thats all it takes to give a business a bad name.My advice, if you want to shoot any rifle, find another range even if its a longer drive. The lanes are too short anyway and you dont need the hassle

Got a Taurus g3c as my first gun. Good experience friendly staff. Prices are a bit much I paid about 50 more than I have seen it anywhere else but i have the money and wanted it and also supply and demand is of course a factor. I will be back if I can get into their safety course once classes go on sale or find some 9mm ammo. Hopefully my review stays positive I will edit and update.

Went in to do a gun transfer filed all the necessary paper work and paid the fee around the middle of August, waited for the background check and then got a voice mail staying everything was good with the background check and that the transfer was finalized and we were all set. Received a voicemail a month later stating that the transfer has expired and that we will have to redo the paperwork and repay the fee after being told we were good to go.

David is great and they helped me out big time when I was in a pinch. Highly recommend.

Don’t buy a gun here. I came here last month to buy a handgun and two weeks later I came back to pick up my handgun. I have been told someone has sent my background check up to wrong place and I have to wait another 2 weeks. Two weeks later when I came back they said the paper is already expired and now I have to wait for another 2 weeks. They don’t even say sorry to me. As a result, I ended return it and never come back. My grandpa and friends are planning to come here to buy gun but after this issue we never come here again. Don’t waste your time here if you want to wait for few months to buy a gun here.

Waited my turn in line, like everyone else. Got to the front and was asked is this going to be quick?.... ummm ....I replied Im not sure, probably not.?.?.?. I was then told to step aside so he could continue helping people in line.( the same line I just waited in patiently for 20 mins)Ive NEVER felt more embarrassed for being a women in a mans world. Relatively small selection of handguns and rifles compared to other firearm stores in the area. The ammo selection is decent and competitively priced. Firearm prices are good. Their best feature is their in-store indoor gun range.

Great place to go for a range day or training or purchasing a new handgun, rifle or accessories. The staff are fantastic and knowledgeable and the owner is great as a instructor. I have had nothing, but great experiences when shopping or shooting at the range. Definitely recommend for all of your shooting sports.

Denied membership for being an inexperienced shooter and that theyre insurance wouldnt cover me. I havent even met this man befor in my entire life. He was grumpy and impolite.

Awesome gun range with a wide variety of guns both for purchase and for rent. Some of the sales prices are high, while others are average. I have yet to find any great deals here, but the service and knowledge more than make up for it.

Theyll gladly take your money for their marked up guns. Good luck getting it out of the hands of their brain dead staff(if you get through the lines). New laws rendered them impotent.

Apparently its easy to get this West Coast Armory NORTH mixed up with another West Coast Armory that closes later.They were more than happy to let us know its closing time (they kept set time to the minute) and then rush us out the side door after.

Staff is knowledgeable ammo etc is a decent price only complaint is to use the range you have to pay 15$ for a membership plus 15$ for any additional persons with you and no LEO or SEO discounts like champions over in Kent

This is a review of West Coast Armory Norths new class to comply with the new I-1639 regulations for semi-automatic firearms purchases.I took this class on 11 November 2018. I can not recall our instructors names (Im terrible with names, cant remember my own half the time) however, they produced an insightful, entertaining and highly informative class that complies with the training requirement of I-1639.I am a big fan of class and hands on training as I believe it helps in preventing a massive amount of injury and death within the firearms community. I do not like how we HAVE to take this class as a part of the new law, however, the information enclosed and presented is an excellent resource for all firearm owners old and new. As an expecting parent, I found the module about children and firearms training particularly helpful and informative.I will gladly return here for firearms classes and training in the future.

Ill literally never come here again. After being turned away from the range because they are membership based I went to the shop to get a part I needed anyway. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes staring at exactly what I needed and not one time did the man standing on the other side of the counter from ask if i needed help.

What a great indoor range, I have been to many, and this one has great personnel, logical rules, 30 yards for rifles, awesome store, loved it, bought a membership, itll be my go to indoor shooting range.

Great place to be at. The staffs of both the custom shop and the range were very nice, knowledgeable, and overall cool. Range does have some caliber/ammunition restrictions, but overall very enjoyable.

Came in to find a pocket .380 and a holster for my .45 ultra carry 2. The kid behind the counter seemed put out that I asked to see the .380s in stock. Seemed to be more interested in what was on his phone. I asked about holsters, he agreed the best place would be the internet to find one. Not a sales man, felt more like he should have been working at Sprint.

Monica and Tom were a great help, they worked with me and helped me pick out my purchase. Blair was awesome to! He even mounted my optic on it for free!! Highly recommend this place if your looking to buy or use the range. Great service

A shop with everything I need to work and play. It’s very common the owners, John and Stephanie, are on the floor helping out. If they don’t have something they get it in for you. They have years of practical and actual experience for anything I’ve done or thought about doing, and their hands on approach is reflected in the staff, facilities, range and classes. I have no higher recommendation whether LEO, security, hunter or simple shooter. Top notch.

Great service and fair prices. Staff are friendly and helpful and the bronze membership doesnt break the bank. The range is clean, well lit, and easy to shoot on. I havent rented any pistols yet but they have quite the collection to choose from if you do. Its also great that my wife can shoot for free on Thursdays!

Excellent place to buy and shoot. Im left handed and the staff was able to help me find the perfect concealed carry gun.Very polite and old school. They sell only new guns which is nice so you know your getting a working gun.Prices are pretty good. Definitely better than a certain gun shop on bothell that over prices everything they have.

Seriously the best place. I have shopped other places and not only are they amazing in their pricing but literally the best sales people. I was seriously late because I got off work late and they still helped me out. So even if its right before they close you will get amazing service. And their Aussie is a sweet heart. I have had a membership at West Coast North for over 3 years. The staff are very helpful... they keep lane assignments spread out avoid crowding when the lanes are available, have always been able to answer questions or concerns I had with our ever-evolving laws, and thankfully a staff member caught a slight tendency I had before it developed in to a bad habit. She recognized it wasnt something I was doing all the time, but because I often shoot solo it could easily become a safety issue if unchecked. I like that my range pays attention to not just general safety but also the development of their members.I tend to come well stocked when I arrive, but have still looked through the shop a few times. A good selection of firearms, many rentable, and full range (pun intended) of ammo. I saw a post about exceedingly high prices but never noticed gouging. Firstly, the range isnt the internet and one should never compare a bulk online price to one you get at a small business such as an independent range (I assume). Secondly, its a convenience to have ammo available at the range. Just like doritos cost more at 7-11 down the block than qfc four miles away, unless you want to drive to cabelas or wait for your online order to arrive while you stand in your lane with an empty mag - suck it up and support a local business.I live in seattle, and its well worth the drive up to everett to shoot at West Coast Armory North.

I went to shoot on a very rare early day off and was informed that my membership ended 8 days prior. only eight days! They werent even the least bit flexible. I get rules, but I also get customer service and loyalty. They werent at all busy, but I couldnt afford a whole new membership at that moment, they didnt seem to care and they wouldnt budge, so I left.I guess Im just very, very disappointed. I was a good customer.Their plus side is they have dogs. Bottom side, they lost their customer.Sticking to Wades from now on.

A couple months ago my wife and I were each in the market for a hand gun; she had a pretty good idea what she wanted, and so did I. Let me first point out, wed done our due dilligence. We made sure she had her CPL, we went shooting a few times at a few diggerent places. We visited local shops, did the Cabelas thing (gross), even waited for a WAC show - which was not a good experience for her, by the way. Too many crusty old men who have no idea what century it is, or how to live in a world where women are more than just barefoot and pregnant. Shame on you.Let me strongly recommend doing your homework before purchasing a firearm. This means going to ranges (like the one here at WCA) that let you rent different guns so you can figure out what you actually like or dont like. The results may surprise you, and trust me on this, Ive made impulse gun buys. It really sucks investing that much money and time in a gun that shoots horribly and/or you cant trust to possibly defend your life. Scary.For us, we know we like the 1911 platform because its solid, reliable, easy to use, and the triggers are just so much better. As luck would have it, WCA happened to have the little Sig she wanted (not the pink because shes a girl one either...) a regular, no frills Sig. Shes got good taste, what can I say?We pulled the trigger (pun very much intended) because everybodys got the same prices these days and its more about finding the shop that has the gun you already know you want. Turns out the manager was the guy who helped us out, and, like a seasoned pro, was able to discern I was looking for an excuse to spend another several hundred dollars on a gun for me. He went above and beyond to find me exactly what I wanted (even if I didnt exactly) and have it delivered to the shop in a matter of days.Everyone weve dealt with here at the shop and the range have been consummate professionals. What a refreshing change after having been to some awful, unhelpful places full of weirdos who just think its cool to be able to wear a gun to work.You cant buy guns in Seattle anymore, so youll have to travel a little. WCA is worth the trip. Plan on spending some time and money, rent a lane, and have some fun. You wont regret it.My one suggestion isnt so much a critisism of WCA as much as it is about our Amazon economy; I would much rather spend my money at a place like this where I can physically inspect accessories like cleaning supplies, holsters, etc. It seems local shops cant compete on the small stuff anymore, so theyve stopped stocking much of it. Stop being lazy, people. Support your local merchants. Its ok to do your homework online, but help keep shops like this alive by buying local.

Great training classes with multiple gun choices for rentals. Staff is knowledgable and proves are competitive.

The expert gun smith did a great job cleaning and adjusting my Browning pistol. Fair price and excellent follow up. I received multiple calls of the status until it was ready. I got good advice on the gun after getting it back from being serviced. Now my gun is good as new. They offer a good selection of pistols and rifles. The shooting range is busy every time I have been there. Ill be back.

This is not a good store

Ive been coming here for a while now. Using the range and getting a few things at the shop. The guys and girls behind the counter really know what theyre talking about and offer advice when asked. They arent pushy or overly opinionated like some other shops. Prices are good and selection is varied. Overall its a great set up and Im quite happy to do business with them.

This is the first review ive written for any company. West Coast is amazing. I am newer to the shooting world, ive been in to the other LGS and have asked some questions and advise. I was kinda looked at funny for my questiones elsewhere. At west coast i felt very at ease and everyone there was more than friendly and willing to answer my questions, even went as far as showing me the actual differences in a couple items rather than just saying here, look for yourself. I would like to name Chris specifically, thank you for all your help, thank you to everyone. I look forward to doing more business in the future.

Friendly knowledgeable staff, low wait times, reasonable range fees. Range equipment is in good shape and the whole place is nice and clean. Only reason it gets 4 stars is the price for ammo, and the lack of medium quantity ammo boxes.

Good prices, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Would give 5 stars but the table area you get in the lane is fairly small. Although, this was only my 3rd shooting range. I will definitely be going here regularly.

I have a bronze membership and have used it for shooting pistols. I built an AR-15 over the holiday and needed to site it and to see if it cycled properly. I was told I needed a silver membership to shoot it and that was going to coast me another $200.00 to do so. I would have payed more than my normal price to try it but that was a no go so I will not be back. Lots of other ranges around

My son and I have been frequent customers and are impressed with their knowledge and judgment in brand and product selection. They recommended a brand we had never heard of and upon further investigation - we discovered it was about the best and most precise version of this weapon component available. First time shooting at this location with my husband today. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and we had a nice time. However, the bay we were in was quite cramped and there wasnt a lot of space for the number of people they expected to fit in the particular bay we were in. Overall good experience though!

Purchased a pistol here for $40 less than Cabellas price. The process was quick and painless (I have a CPL) and the whole staff was very nice and pleasant to be around in the checkout process. Much better service than the Bellevue location of WCA

One of the best places around. Ive been to ones with so many restrictions, such as having to buy their EXPENSIVE frangible ammo to even shoot your own AR, no shotguns, no rapid fire, etc. You can shoot your AR with your own ammo (no steel cased ammo or AP), you can shoot 00 buckshot, and rapid fire. Dont give them a reason to care and they wont. Lots of lanes, clean, good people.Note that they dont allow foreign tourists to shoot at their range. They cite RCW 9.41.171 and advises that letting your Canadian cousin shoot your guns is a Class C Felony. Ive seen several other ranges that allow foreign tourists to enjoy the American experience, but WCAN says everyone is committing a felony.I highly doubt this and there must be an exception when it takes place at a gun range or authorized usage under direct supervision of the gun owner. I highly doubt all those other gun ranges are ignorant of the law and committing felonies. And they couldnt be operating for this long without the State shutting them down and arresting them all.If WCAN simply doesnt want foreign customers, just say so. But they seem to be misinterpreting the law and missing out on a significant revenue source.

I will say they are friendly (TO A FAULT), I stood waiting for 15 min to buy a box of ammo while the cashier was just shucking it up with another customer, FINALLY the other cashier said something and I was able to get my ammo & leave.SECONDLY- I dont approve of giving my whole name just to buy a box of ammo! This is the first & only place Ive purchased ammo at that wanted my full name....THIRDLY- I went in to the range to dial in my new laser sight & I hadnt even had a chance to get on my knees for a second 6 round mag & the so called manger came in and tapped me on the shoulder trying to tell me I was shooting at the ceiling! HA HA HA HA WHAT A MORON, I had barely had a chance to get into the kneeling position so that I could set up for a solid shot, the laser on the gun was glancing around (OUT IN FRONT OF ME)! I am 61 and while shooting in the kneeling position I was CLEARLY able to shoot parallel to the deck. At 50 years old Ive not had 1 single incident & or accident that resulted in any kind of injury. PERIOD! This guy is very immature & has no idea what hes even talking about, not to mention he shook like a leaf when he looked at me and lied to my face..... needless to say I immediately demanded my membership fee & lane fee for that day, I have no time for kiddie games & fat guys that are low on their blood sugar level.LASTLY- prices for ammo are absolutely absurd ! They charged me $25 for a box of 50 (Winchester .380 target rounds), this is way way to much money for target rounds, I can get the same ammo online all day for $15 a box, even cheaper with free shipping if I buy 1,000 rounds(SIDE NOTE) the google user that posted just below me is a liar, prices are OFF THE HOOK expensive & the selection of merchandise sucks... just read the other posts and make your own call...

1st of all I would like to say I would give them a 100 stars if I could...But this is where I Purchased my 1st Firearm! The awesome gentlemen there helped me choose a ruger security 9 which is perfect for me as I needed something a little bit larger something small in my hand just didnt feel right… ;) Anyways highly recommend anyone intrested in purchasing, trying or just going to the shooting range even if its just to talk about guns these guys are amazing! Great customer service very knowledgeable would recommend them any day of the week!!! Thank you guys especially Chris I swear he must have The patience of a sainte to deal with me on multiple occasions.

Ive been to range about 3 times in the last coupe weeks, been a good experience so far. The membership/range fees/ammo are reasonable, and you can bring a guest to share a lane with. Aside from shooting, we were looking to buy a new carry piece, and the folks at the range were very accommodating in letting us try out a number of different guns with just one rental fee. We ended up going home with an XD-S in 9mm. Rick was very personable, knowledgeable, and friendly, and we never felt pressured into the purchase. Overall good experience shooting and buying.

The place is nice but the pricing is up there membership wise also you need membership to shoot. They do offer discounts with membership so if you shoot alot it might be cost effective. Look into it.

My wife and I just recently purchased the family silver membership and our first trip to the range was last weekend. When we arrived the guys at the gun range asked to see what we were going to shoot and we showed them our never been fired M4. They did a thorough check and even spent time cleaning out the grease that was left in from the manufacture and then showed us how to operate and clean the gun. Very impressed by everyones helpfulness and professionalism.

I go to the range atleast once a week and i love it. They are always supper nice and they answer my questions with ways to help me improve my shooting. Thank you :D

Very friendly and helpful my first time in she gave me a free range pass $15.00 dollar savings because of a 1380 promo that was on the radio,very well run and clean and the staff is very knowledgeable and willing to give help and advice . I highly recommend it worth the $25.00 yearly fee.

Dont bother going here if youve moved recently. They declined to sell me an AR lower because the adress printed on my drivers license isnt my current address - didnt even start the paperwork.My address has been updated with the state and I had no problem making firearm purchases and transfers with 4 other FFL dealers in western WA.Washington state no longer gives you a new license when your address changes.Prices were high and I was making the purchase out of convenience. I will take my business elsewhere and I wont be back.

First time gun owner, and I was treated with the best customer service as possible. They made sure I was making the right decision for me, made sure it fit my hand okay, even before I purchased my first gun from them they recommended I rent a couple of their guns to shoot in the range and it was a great idea, I really got a feel for the different types of weapons! Also they offer a free military membership! Their prices are also very good compared to places like cabelas and such. Overal I will be a member for life!! And will purchase many guns in the future!

This place is so much better than Sams was, clean, great staff, and good inventory. Dont listen to the old crotch that bashes the place, I dont believe it. He is just bitter it is not still Sams where you could smoke and drink coffee all day. That was horrible back then.

This is a gun shop with good ammo and firearm selection. They have a great Smith and thee bays... You wont find many new shooters here, but when a newb is on the range each and every patron and range master are helpful. This is a range and shop for those in the know. Anything less than a 5 star review speaks to the commentor not the establishment.

I am a current member at the range and its OK because its close to my house, has around 21 bays in 3 separate rooms. Being my second range membership there are a lot of things that are not so great. One thing I dont like is they dont have a range officer in the shooting bays, if they have a concern they will use a strobe flash light to get your attention. I have to watch the shooters near by because a lot are new shooters and sweep to the left and there is no range officer to tell them what to do. If the shooter has their finger in trigger guard and sweep to the left I leave. Watch your surroundings, I had a older lady shooting a Glock to my right and I was watching her and she was loosing grip with the support hand after recoil and would sweep to the left.

Good pricing for membership, especially family membership, friendly staff at the range and in the shop.

If you want that specific model your looking for and call they they will tell you they have it. But when you get there to buy it, they do not have it and act like they have never heard of a P320 Tacops. Pathetic.

I’ve read they’re building an additional bay, so this will help.* I wish the lane dividers covered all the way up to the ceiling. I get hit on the head by my neighbor’s brass quite often (bring a hat!).* Membership structure limits the guests you can bring with you, so you can’t bring a large group unless somebody else signs upFull review:I’ve been coming here for about two years. I’ve purchased firearms through them, attended classes, and spent a lot of time on the range. I love coming here and look forward to returning whenever I get the time.I like being able to shoot at my own pace, and WCA provides me the opportunity. They have a good safety protocol (which is a huge plus at a public-facing range), but still provide opportunities for holster draw and double tap after an assessment of shooter competence. Targets are mounted on a user-controlled ceiling track, so there’s no need to call periodic cease fires to go hang and collect them. They allow certain long guns if you have a “silver” or higher membership, but the range is only about 25 yards. I’m very impressed by their cognizance of lead contamination. They have sticky floor mats and anti-lead soap on hand to help reduce exposure. Finally, I simply enjoy the company. The staff are all shooting enthusiasts that are knowledgeable and passionate about the hobby.I highly recommend WCA. Though I did have some minor critiques, these guys have an amazing facility, and they seemed to have worked out all the kinks that I’ve witnessed at other area ranges. This is my go-to pistol range, and that likely won’t change any time soon.

I have been satisfied with the purchases I have made here.Have been an off and on customer since the building first went up many years ago. Initially some of us called it Fat Boys since the owner was rather portly. Than becoming Sams.The selection of items sold was for a time rather extensive with used firearms of all types for sale....both new and used. Sadly this is not happening to the extent it once was along with reloading supplies in abundance. One had to drive to Kesselrings to find a better selection in the day.As to customer service in the main retail store it could be much better than it is currently with a more attentive sales staff.

This is the best gun range around and belive me I have searched... they have a good selection of firearms and merchandise at good prices and a safe, clean, well lit facility for shooting.
